No restaurant nearby except a fast food place within working distance.room service is on request and I have big amount of uncertainty shuttle is provided.On my way to leave I was very scared how a taxi driver behave.He keeps telling me that he's here by Whatsapp but I wasn't able to see him that far as the front usually completely with cars.

My wife and I booked the ocean villas for a night as it was conveniently located near the airport and we only needed to stay a night before we departed Cairo! When we arrived at 1am for Aswan to check in to the hotel, surprisingly, we were asked to provide a marriage certificate. This was very surprising as I’ve never heard of a request such as this, and we had already been through Cairo earlier, staying at a different hotel. I explained that I don’t have a copy of our marriage certificate and because it was 1am in the morning, there was no way I could get something until tomorrow. The concierge proceeded to tell me that we would not be able to stay at the hotel and would need to find another hotel! Absolutely ridiculous! It’s 1am in the morning- where would we go to find a hotel. He then proceeded to show me that it is mentioned on their website- it took him 5 minutes to find this, tucked away in the crevice of their website. Absolutely shambolic hotel with such a strange rule! If you are very strict about these rules, you should make sure that it is within the description of your hotel and you shouldn’t have to spend 5 minutes to find this tucked away under a separate tab. He finally agreed to let us stay, if I booked a room- but not any type of room- they only had a “family king suite” available- ofcourse it was the most expensive room. About the hotel- rooms are basic- my AC did not work, but after all the arguing and delays of getting our room, I couldn’t be asked to get the technician to come out at 2am to fix the AC. My wife was absolutely bewildered and shocked about everything and hardly slept a wink- we haven’t slept separately in 10 years I would certainly avoid this hotel

The room is very spacious, and the Wi-Fi has also been greatly improved, because I often stay here on business trips, and it also has a swimming pool. The overall feeling has improved significantly.

One of the best hotel apartments I’ve been to. The location is perfect, not exactly on the main road so the noise level is low, yet close enough that it only takes a few steps. Shops, restaurants, and supermarkets are within walking distance, and for anything else you need, you can always order it by phone or online. The price is very good, especially compared to similar places in the area. The highlight of the place, though, is the staff. They’re amazing, helpful, very friendly and will always go the extra mile to accommodate you. The only downside and the reason I didn’t give it a 5 star was the banging noise coming from the construction workers early in the morning, especially considering it was coming from the extension of the hotel apartment itself. I will definitely be staying there whenever I’m back in Cairo, and will be recommending the place to all my family and friends. 👍🏻

Castle Hotel is a very good budget option in Cairo. The highlight is the rooftop deck/lounge. It's a great spot in the evenings. The hotel is well located. The dorm room was a little small but I was only there for one night. It needs a better set up in terms of electric plugs and personal lights. Oh and you can definitely hear the call to prayer in the room, so bring ear plugs. All good with the wifi. I didn't have a chance to try the breakfast (early departure) but the front desk guy made me a fried egg sandwich. So appreciated! The owner is very nice and staff are generally lovely and my cab to the airport was ready early. My only peeve was the indoor smoking!!! I know it's allowed in Egypt but I don't like it.

This is the first time I write a good review. The room is very, very big. They helped me upgrade the room type. The hygiene is very good. The room includes a washing machine, living room, cloakroom, etc. It is very good. The manager is very good and very caring throughout the whole process. I arrived at the airport at 1:30 pm during my transit in Cairo. They also provided free airport pick-up service and paid for my Uber to the airport the next day. It is really good. Compared with the old Cairo, the new Cairo is very safe, with fewer people and more rich people. It is also more friendly to Chinese people. I highly recommend it.

The hotel is located on the upper floor of a high-rise building, but there was no signboard so it was difficult to find it. There is staff at the front desk 24 hours a day, so you won't have any trouble responding.

Buen apartamento cerca del aeropuerto, tiene 2 habitaciones y 2 buenos baños. El edificio tiene seguridad y buenas instalaciones. Tú sitio para alojarte en un buen sitio en la parte nueva de Cairo.

Everyone had scared us about taking apartment hotel stays in cairo but this was such a pleasant surprise. The staff Moustafa and Mohammed helped us with our bookings and made sure we had a comfortable stay. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which was very spacious and clean. The place is in new cairo city which was far from downtown and Giza but it was so easy to get an uber from there and back. The neighbourhood felt very safe even when we came late in the nights. Walking distance from 90 mall.

Hotel service is terrible. No Maintenance since 10 days + they refuses to take my garbage. Last pickup was 4 to 5 days ago. I have a baby and pampers and they do not care. They want me to stick to an cleaning appointment preselected by them. They give me appointments that do not match for me and dont care if it does not work for me as I work etc. and if I ask that just someone comes to take the garbage they say your problem....you had an appointment and missed it and shall wait till next week. So I have now to wait 1 week till someone comes and takes the garbage incl baby diapers. When I say I want to talk to the manager they just hang up and dont care. They receive 20 000 EGP in advance and dont care for anything. Biggest regret. I would like to go but they received my money. Take care before you book a long stay and never book despite through booking and avoid a long stay especially in their apartment. Shame on you to treat a mother with a baby like that.

Frankly, I thank the workers in the place, especially brother Amr and the building guard. They were very kind and the place, frankly, does not need much, so they deserve a great word.

You have to bring your own toothbrush and everything, because it is a B&B, but the owner is very hospitable and the staff will help you carry your luggage. The overall environment is okay. Because I customize oil, I have a special car to pick me up. You have to consider the transportation. It may not be very convenient here.

Lovely place I like it and my family I like it and good location 

No coffee or food services but good cost and wi fi not stable 😉 together with unstable electricity..all others accepted also is good for long stay with affordable costs ..the area is quite and relaxing but needs more services and simple advice to have ATM .
