Apartments in Eastern Region, Iceland

Facilities: All available, except that there is no washing machine. The room has heating. Hygienic: very clean Environment: beautiful! 20 meters to the lake, the mountain. The picture is the view of the house terrace. Service: Very good.

Milk so good and location is convenience! Will visit again for sure!

Guide: From the ring road you will drive from Egilsstaðir to the east and follow the road number 93 (Seyðisfjarðarvegur) about 30 km. A beautiful pass road is going along. Fronts of serpentines are turning up - and downwards on the other side. There are many beautiful views along the path. A few kilometres before Seyðisfjörður you can already look far in the fjord from above. The street is well developed - not a comparison to the streets in the neighbouring fjords. (The street 953 in the Mjóifjörður or the road number 94 to Hafnarólmi, I have felt partly as ”Hellrid”, because it is a steep, only squatted roads or a permanent construction site. ) However, the journey over the passport and down to the Fjord is a rather ”gondolei”. You must like or not. In summer it was possible to drive well. But in winter I'll imagine the route a little adventureful. The Lónsleira Apartments are easily found in Seyðisfjörður. Just right along the Austurvegur. At the end of the lake, the apartments are already recognized by the characteristic yellow and blue color. The car can be stopped right before the entrance to the apartments. ************* Entry/Check-in: We arrived on a Sunday evening and I have to say that I was just lost something. To date, we had the number at our accommodations beforehand either the key box by mail or a phone number we should contact at arrival. Or there was a kind of reception where we could get the key. Here we had no information, How we came to the keys and were something unconcerned. Fortunately, then I found the ”neighbors” in front of the house and asked how the check-in is going. You pointed me to a telephone number, I called and then got the PIN of the key cash. I also received a strange check-out, because there were no specifications here too. In many reviews I had read that the renter had passed over the stay. Okay, I wouldn't have had to do that. But since the booking was made over booking.com but the payment should have been made on the site, I already found it a little irritating that we were not contacted at all. Finally, we just put the key back to the safe when we leave. The cost of stay was cancelled from the credit card - although the credit card information was actually intended to be deposited for security only. Well, no matter. It wasn't bad. Maybe something went wrong - but I didn't find this kind optimal. 該房子太棒啦，棒得忘記拍更多照片了，位置好，一進小鎮不遠就到了，房子背後有寬敞停車場，把行李從停車位搬到房間也比較省力（在歐洲旅遊這很重要）房間 廚房 洗衣房 洗手間 客廳都在一層，不用上下樓梯搬行李，客廳 廚房 洗手間 洗衣房都很大，櫃子很大 （衣架齊全，很多時候很多房子衹有一兩個衣架很不方便）熱水好，暖氣足（每間房間都可以自行調節）房間很乾凈，物品配置豐富，廚房設施太齊全了，我們做了一頓不錯的晚餐，窗外正對港口遊輪，滿足民宿所有希望。來這小鎮強烈推薦選擇

This accommodation belongs to Hotel Aldan. We had the apartment in the ground floor of Gamli Skólinn. There was a huge wow as we opened the door. What a marvelous place! Our second sentence was, ”we're going to STAY here”, like... not going to leave, at all :) The lobby staff is really nice. All possible amenities in the kitchen. Washing machine and dryer, and such gorgeous environment in Seyðisfjörður. This is a Top 10. Huge thumbs up!
