Conveniently located across Kanazawa station, the hotel is easily accessible. Glad to see the mountain view from my hotel room. The breakfast spread is fantastic! As my stay was during the colder month of December, consistent hot water at the turn of the tap without any wait is really good!
My only complain is that the central aircon system is not pushing out enough air, even at highest speed, making the night feel stuffy.
After doing a bit of research for this part of my family's trip to Japan over Christmas, Kanazawa was high on our list (now Top 25 places to go this year according to National Geographic!). So glad we stayed there.
Look no further than a walk outside of Kanazawa Station (buses and trains easily accessible) and go to Hyatt Centric. Amazing location in terms of accessibility (the city itself is quite walkable or you can do the loop buses from there).
The amenities and room were top notch. Staff were amazing everywhere, their take on breakfast was also done well with a mix of local Kanazawan cuisine, Japanese dishes, and Western dishes.
Rooftop Bar was also nice.
Rooms were also very affordable compared to other cities in Japan for what some might consider a higher quality.
Already planning our next family trip and plan to go here again.
Kaga is so unpopular that the information on the Chinese website is very incomplete. I placed the order with trepidation. At that time, it was one of the few hotels with rooms available and a price per person. The hotel room pictures and information on Ctrip's page were actually very confusing, and the hotel's official website could not be opened in China. As a result, when I arrived in Kaga, I chatted with the owner of the cafe in the hot spring town. The owner said that this was definitely the right place to book and you will have a perfect day. Indeed! First of all, the room is at least 100 square meters, which is more spacious than many hotels with thousands of square meters per capita, and here it only costs 1000+ per capita
Secondly, the hotel is only a 10-minute walk from the Yamashiro Onsen Souyu, and you can make an appointment in advance to pick up the station (free, Ctrip only writes that it is wrong to send the station). If you walk there by yourself, turn at Ye Duli and climb a small slope. There are signs along the way
Thirdly, the hotel service attitude is really good. The staff will wait for the corresponding guests at about the same time, and then accompany them all the way to the room. The hotel map is a little complicated, and the explanation is very clear. It will mark the restaurant, breakfast and dinner reservation time, and the time of sending the station, etc. The female general of Kaiseki will also try hard to introduce the ingredients of each dish to you in English. Even though it is mainly domestic tourists, I didn’t feel the discrimination or indifference to foreigners in some places
Finally, the hotel is in the forest, which is really a great environment. There is a corridor for walking, two hot springs, and you can sunbathe in the forest. The free rest area is at the entrance of the four-season corridor. Coffee and drinks are self-service. You can also sit in the hanging basket and stare at the forest waterfall (there may be more insects in summer, so be careful)
The hotel provides a shuttle service to Kaga Onsen Station. You can make an appointment by calling.
The hot spring hotel offers one night and two meals. The service and dishes are always impeccable.
The hotel is located in the center of Kaga Onsen Town, next to Hoshino Kai.
The water quality of Yamashiro Onsen is very good. Five minutes every morning and evening will make your skin feel very obvious.
The tableware is very exquisite. It may be because it is adjacent to the Rosanjin Residence and Kutani Ware production area.
Before the meal, the dedicated elderly butler will put on the kimono and sash for the guests.
It is very quiet here. I stayed comfortably for two nights.
The only thing is that the food is large. If you don’t eat it, you will waste it. After eating, you will feel too full.
By the way, there is free ice cream at the lobby bar on the first floor during the day.
There is a half-hour piano performance at 9:00-9:30 at night.
The young man who sent us to the station at the end has a pair of big eyes and is very handsome. The hotel also has waiters who can speak Chinese and English. There are more elderly and polite waiters. The belts worn by the elderly are really beautiful and comfortable.
Clean and thoughtful set up. Well equipped kitchenette. With brand new dish sponge and kitchen towel ( items often overlooked at other service apartment hotels).
Spacious lounge area that had free flow beverages in the evening during our stay. Competent breakfast but lack variety as there was no change in menu during our 3 days stay.
You can access the restaurants in the same building via the escalator in the shared outdoor area next to the restaurant. Location is superb as it’s a short mostly sheltered walk to Kanazawa station
Overall the hotel not bad , only the negative part there’s no direct covered way from Kanazawa station to the hotel, arrived late evening raining day and need to run to the hotel with my heavy luggage
The positive reviews are real! We're very glad to have stayed here and would recommend this hotel without hesitation.
First off, the buffett breakfast is amazing: it offers local Kanazawan fare to standard Japanese favourites like tempura, sushi and sashimi to ubiquitous American breakfast offerings like sausages, bacon and a wide choice of eggs. Fancy sparkling wine for breakfast? They're available as well!
Secondly, great location. 3 mins walk to Omichi market, 10 mins to Kanazawa castle, 10 mins to Higashi Chaya, 20 mins to Nagamachi District. Honestly, Kanazawa is such a walkable town, you are always able to walk from one attraction to the next. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus from mid-morning to late afternoon that runs to Kanazawa station and back.
Rooms are well-appointed, large by Japanese standards and there's even a bathtub. Two thumbs up!
The hotel is right next to a stream and you can hear the gurgling water in the room.
There is a hot spring street within walking distance. There are not many people but it is overall very exquisite and has many interesting shops.
The hotel staff are very friendly and enthusiastic. I like it very much.
The portions of the meals are large and I feel very full~
You can also hear the sound of running water in the hot spring pool, which is very pleasant and I like it very much.
The room is large although a bit older
Fantastic location near to Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen. Good breakfast and snacks and drinks throughout the day. Public parking only available outside of hotel chargeable at 1200yen.
Will come back again
The hotel is very convenient to the Kanazawa train station. It is a clean efficient hotel. It has been newly renovated with a modern theme. The service was excellent. But the check in process is a little strange. There is a front desk staff but they have to do some functions, like a second room key, by using an ATM like machine in the lobby. The on-site bath is basic but does the job. The WiFi speed is good.

HHaroon AwanThe stay provides facilities for a complete studio apartment. The neighbourhood is very calm and beautiful and many tourist spots are walking distance from the location. Making it ideal for city exploration. Highly recommended.
GGuest UserThe hotel is basically fully automatic, and the check-in procedure is complicated. You need to download a program and then have a password, which is very different from ordinary hotels.
The room is larger than the average Japanese hotel, but it is very impersonal in many aspects.
1. There is no room cleaning service. After checking their website, I found that Room Service will not be provided until you stay for more than six nights, so no one will deal with the towels and garbage with you!
2. There are no disposable slippers in the room, which feels very unhygienic.
3. No toothpaste or toothbrush is provided, and even some basic items are not provided. If the price is charged, I will not accept it!
4. The pillow is too short and no extra one is provided.
5. Generally hotels will provide two bottles of drinking water, but there is none here, nothing at all🙁
GGuest UserIt is a small apartment. It is not recommended for passengers to live. Although tatami mats can accommodate three people, the two of us still feel cramped, and the privacy of the room on the first floor is not very good. The pedestrians on the street without pulling the curtains have a clear view of the inside, but the facilities are still very new. If you go to the market and buy seafood, it will be very affordable to make it at home, which is the only advantage.
FFanA cozy Japanese-style shared residence, and there are parking spaces that can be reserved for parking, which is very suitable for self-driving travelers.
It only takes ten minutes to walk to Higashi Tea House Street.
Because it is in a general residential area, it is very quiet at night. Almost all the shops close at 20 o'clock, and there is not much place to go shopping nearby.
ささすけみなとさんIt's a little far from the station, but it's about 10 minutes, so it won't be painful.
I stayed with 5 people, but there are 3 beds.
There was a sofa bed, but if it was not more than 7 people, additional futons would not be rented.
Whether it was written somewhere or overlooked it ... I had 5 friends, so I was careful to sleep with them. Others were good.
