I was really wonderful home, everything was really just the bar below our room with music up to 3h of the morning it was horrible I thought I was finally going to be able to rest I am pregnant and my night his great pas hein but this really was unsupportable
Very spacious room, top bathroom! very friendly staff
The SPA is a real more, all in the quiet with the park in front of the spa
Resta will tonight at ****** at 100m top
Very close to the train station and airport, the French guy at the front desk speaks good Chinese, the room is much more spacious than in Paris, very clean
Booked a room with a view, planes take off and land frequently, but there is no noise at all
There is a T2 light rail station next to it. It is very convenient for self-driving to park your car here and then go to the city, so as to avoid being fined for not having an environmental protection sticker. The cookie is the best at DoubleTree I've ever been to. It seems that French desserts are actually good.
A chain of express hotels, suitable for resting on the way from Paris to the south of France. The parking lot is large and free. The breakfast is average and filling.
The hotel is a beautifully decorated hotel with refinement. The rooms are modern and spacious. The hotel team wants young and dynamic and careful of our comfort.
The hotel is located in the heart of the city centre, and the hotel is located in the heart of the city centre.
Vives recommandations.
A very good hotel with a unique location, beautiful scenery, clean and tidy! The first choice for self-driving travel is very convenient, very close to the expressway, good breakfast😯👍
Very friendly to self-driving people
We drove from Nice to Paris and stayed overnight in Lyon
It was completely beyond my expectations and the price was not expensive
Mainly for the free parking lot
The service staff was nice
The breakfast was OK
The room was large
There was a coffee machine and mini bar for free use
In short, it exceeded my expectations
But I would like to remind friends who drive themselves that there are no stores open nearby on Saturdays and Sundays, and only McDonald's can be eaten along the way...

Pullman Lyon is a relatively new hotel. Had a great stay and I had a train to catch on Jan 1 2025 morning, Lyon Part Dieu station to Paris is literally 1 min walk! So very convenient if you don’t want to be late for your onward journey. I got to Pullman from another hotel on an Uber, and there were still constructions and a pro tip to to take Taxi rather than Uber if you’ve luggages because Ubers aren’t allowed into the hotel zone. It’s only for bus and taxis. I wish Pullman had large signage’s to get to their hotel because the entrance is being blocked by the construction. The hotel should have a big Pullman on thier building on all sides like the Radisson Blu nearby it so that people can easily spot it.
The front desk Marie was lovely! All those at reception and concierge spoke great English and were very helpful in helping me call for a taxi and giving me ideas on where to go for dinner on 31 Dec as I had not made any reservations.
The hotel room is big and roomy, with lots of space for luggages. I got a room for handicap access so the shower and toilet areas were joined tgt. The rain shower was great in keeping the floor dry.
I’ll def choose this hotel in future visits if I have an early train to catch in Lyon. It’s in good distance to Westfield shopping mall and it’s a mega big mall with heaps of shopping, dining, supermarket options!

RRajan TrivediExceptional Stay at Chalet Hotel in Chamonix!
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Chalet Hotel in Chamonix, and I can confidently say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in the Alps! From the moment I arrived, the warm and attentive staff made me feel welcome and ensured that every detail of my stay was perfect.
Location: The hotel is ideally situated with stunning views of Mont Blanc and easy access to the town and ski lifts. Whether you’re there for skiing, hiking, or simply soaking in the beauty of the mountains, the location couldn’t be better.
Rooms: My room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and featured a cozy alpine style with modern amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the balcony offered breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. The housekeeping staff kept everything spotless, which made my stay even more enjoyable.
Dining: The food was fantastic! Breakfast each morning was a generous spread with a variety of fresh options, from pastries to local cheeses and fruits. I also had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and the gourmet meals exceeded my expectations. The chef does an excellent job incorporating local ingredients into traditional dishes, all with a contemporary twist.
Facilities: The hotel spa is a hidden gem—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring or skiing. The sauna and hot tub were wonderful, and the massage I had was the best I’ve had in a long time. They also have a great lounge area with a fireplace, perfect for unwinding with a book or enjoying a drink in the evening.
Service: The staff were incredibly attentive and always ready to assist with any request, whether it was booking excursions, providing local recommendations, or simply ensuring that everything ran smoothly during my stay.
Bonus tip: The best Indian restaurant is walkable distance (400 meters) from the hotel - Annapurna 2. Must visit 😉
Overall, Chalet Hotel in Chamonix combines luxurious comfort with the charm of an authentic alpine retreat. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect mix of relaxation, adventure, and top-notch service. I can’t wait to return!
SSimoensThis hotel is located close to the ‘autoroute du soleil’ which is why we picked it on our way south.
Downsides: it’s located in a very industrial area, with a huge factory just next to it. There’s no fridge in the room.
You pay 100 EUR on average/night for a double room which is quite overpriced if you ask me, but it’s just the price you pay for a clean room in French cities.
Plus: friendly staff, secured parking, decent breakfast, clean room. In just a 5 min drive you can reach the highway again and continue your road trip. Rooms were quiet.
We had an issue upon check-out due to Trip.com having provided wrong information to the hotel (I had paid for a room with breakfast to Trip.com and the hotel couldn’t see the same on their reservation system so they thought I hadn’t paid for breakfast.) It was the first time I booked a room via Trip.com. It took me a while to find out how I could talk to their customer service.
After 5 min of chatting with customer service, I got one of their assistants on the phone who talked to me first, then to the hotel staff and after the talk, trip.com asked me to pay the hotel for my breakfast once again and said they would refund my breakfast, which they meanwhile did.
But all in all we nearly lost an hour of our precious vacation time due to this issue, which is why I’m very reluctant in using trip.com for a second time. I never had these kind of issues with booking.com or hotels.com.

GGuest UserI rarely post reviews, but this hotel is really worth recommending. It is very cost-effective, large and very clean. It is even more pleasantly surprised to be equipped with an induction cooker and kitchenware.
The stay experience is very good, with a five-star level of comfort.
Because I came to Lyon with a bicycle, the disadvantage of the hotel's location is only half an hour more riding time for me, but the price is actually half the price of hotels in the city center.

GGuest UserWe stayed at a double room in the Sofitel in Lyon for a total of 3 nights in the summer of 2023.
The hotel is located just a few streets from the Place Bellecour which is one of the main squares in Lyon. It is also about 5 minutes away from many cafes, bistros and a large supermarket (Monop’) near Place Bellecour.
The room itself was a fairly standard double room (approximately 20 square metres). The interior and furnishings of the hotel look a bit dated but they were fine and did not matter in any material way. The minibar is complimentary and it is restocked daily with bottled water (still and sparkling), fruit juice, coca cola, and dried fruits and nuts.
The bed was nice and comfortable and the pillows were firm. Our only complaint was that the air conditioning was not very consistent and it would turn off in the middle of the night. It is not an issue if you are staying here in the winter but it made it difficult to sleep at night in the summer.
The staff were all very nice and pleasant. The concierge was especially friendly and he helped us to store our bags and arrange for a taxi to the train station on our last day.
We paid approximately EUR250 a night and we thought it was worth the price.
GGuest UserThe hotel was very clean and the city was very clean.
I don't recommend breakfast because I find it very expensive for what it is. Yes it is willing but the orange juice that is not a juice prize, the coffee that is of the machine cade etc ...
ММаксим1974A good hostel, very cramped of course in the room, but everything you need is there, though for a couple of days, the location is good, there is a tram stop nearby, IKEA Leroy stores, there are grocery stores, there is a Burger King and Mac!
GGuest UserHello, I booked this hotel for the good location to the place I had to visit, however it is far away from the city center. But there is a tram stop and a big shopping mall very close to this hotel. First of all the reception is NOT open 24 hours, and they close late at night(check the hours) and also 13-15 on weekends. the staff are very very nice, all of them they changed almost every day and all of them were nice. The room and bathroom is spacious and they provide soap and shampoo. The downside for me was that the room was smelly, my guess is the smell comes from pets' pee because pets are allowed in the hotel. The carpets were old and full of stains. There is a mini kitchenette in the room with a well functioning stove and good utilities. An electric kettle is missing in the room. the Wi-Fi works well and the speed is good. the heating system works perfect and the room had good temperature. The mattress lack the necessary firmness but its okay for a few nights.
