The Hotel is right on top of Japan Railway Tokushima Station and one minute walk from the main bus terminal in Tokushima, too. Very convenient not only to explore the city of Tokushima, but also to explore Tokushima's rich nature and culture, still hidden gem in Japan. Hotel was built about 30 years ago but it is well maintained and rooms are spacious compared with more recent ones. Hotel staffs are very courteous. It forms a part of the station building where you can find many restaurants with Japanese and local flavors as well as souvenir shops.

We stayed for two nights and we enjoyed it. Located across the Tokushima JR station and next to a few shopping areas, it's easily accessible. The hotel car park lot (self-park) is just next to the hotel building and the parking fee is 800yen (3pm to 11noon, just one-time entry) and you can pay the fee at the hotel reception. The room we have is deluxe double, double bed at East Annex. The room is clean and comfortable. Just like other Japanese downtown business hotels, the room is not big but we able to open up two suitcases and still have room to move around. Breakfasts have Western & Japanese choices and we especially love they included local food and cuisine. Public onsen is located at the 11/F and we enjoyed it too. Staff are friendly and speak okay English.

The customer service and attention to detail were the outstanding! Honestly this is the best hotel I have ever been (and I am well traveled) the staff were super nice and they listened and went the extra mile to make our stay the best we ever experienced. They gave us excellent food and took their time to ask if we didn’t like anything so they could provide food to our liking but it was already great food! The onsen upstairs is gorgeous with an amazing view of the mountains and the Japanese style room is excellent. This hotel deserve more stars! We did drive from Osaka and it was 200% worth the trip. I only have good words to describe this place. We left with a warm heart and we didn’t want to leave. I will come back in a heart beat! It is going to be hard for any other hotel to top their customer service. There are also nice things to do in the area like the scarecrow village and adventure park.

This resort is geared for family, many families bring their younger children, a refreshing view. It is a nice resort but by no means luxurious. We chose Japanese restaurant for dinner instead of their suggested buffet restaurant (dinner is included in the price), and the kaiseki served was mediocre in taste and quality. We indulge for breakfast, there are two restaurants, one a buffet serving western food, and the other Japanese. We tried both, and all are pretty good! There are english speaking nepalese employees, and two onsens, one on the top floor with sea view, and the other an outdoor on the first floor (preferred!). Make sure you buy the meal package since there are no nearby restaurant and you are pretty much a captive audience. Oh, parking is free, which is nice. Close by to Otsuka museum and the bridge where we watch Naruto whirlpool.

The breakfast is very delicious. The room is not large, but it is clean and you can't hear any noise from the surroundings. The only things that bothered me were that the bed mattress was harder than I expected and the refrigerator was loud (there is a switch to turn it off so it's not a problem). If you don't like hard bed mattresses, be careful.

It was our very first time in Shikoku area of Japan - the hotel is frankly a bit dated but we appreciated the hospitality and the great selection of breakfast (both western and Japanese style were available). I think we went during the off season so there seemed to be only few hotel guests staying - at least having breakfast when we were at the breakfast room. The ”Wa -fuu” Japanese style Tatami room (10 tatamis) on the 10th? floor was nice and roomy which we enjoyed. Though the bathroom is TINY - felt like you were in a tiny boat or airplane. Free wifi worked fine. Good amenities - including free bottled water. Tea. mini-fridge. They also provide you with free local cellphone in the room so you could bring it with you for local phone calls or do some simple wifi search/gps usage being a tourist. For people visiting from out of the country without a good global cell plan- this is a great amenity to have.

It is within walking distance from the station. The room was large enough to spread the suitcase. Wifi has a connection point for each room and does not seem to be crowded. Cakes are sold on the first floor, and there is a restaurant where you can enjoy dinner. The large communal bath is another hotel opposite, and breakfast is a hotel affiliated with a little over a minute walk. Regarding the large communal bath, you cannot enter without a ticket that is paid in advance. Tickets will be collected in front of the bathhouse. It wasn't the atmosphere that I could put it many times a day. Breakfast is a buffet with a local menu, and newspapers are placed at the venue, which is rare today. It was good to have a relaxing atmosphere, not a feeling of being rushed.

The hotel is in a great location, very cost-effective, the room is large and clean, the bed and pillows are very comfortable, we slept very comfortably! If the hotel counter staff had good English communication skills, they would have better communication!

Overall, because the person in charge is absent, only half-way correspondence can be done in any correspondence. The front desk of check-in is absent and calls by bell. Wonderful backpacker place in a renovated former sushi restaurant. Great infrastructure, very friendly management, some of them speak English. The restaurant is full of little details, western cooking, and they serve an interesting choice of craft beers and wine. It is located very close to the train station in a covered shopping street

Having stayed in several good hotels and a family homestay so far on our tour of Japan, my family and I did not have huge expectations for our stay at Kazuraya. We knew it was a small, family run inn situated in a rural part of Japan's Iya Valley. However, we were very pleasantly surprised by our experience. Kazuraya is situated in a stunning spot in the Iya Valley with fantastic views of the mountains and a very short walk from some fabulous waterfalls and a vine bridge, not to mention a beautiful gorge with crystal clear water running through it. The accommodation (we had two twin rooms) was spotlessly clean with a typical Japan style little table and chairs, kettle, etc. It was also en-suite which was a bonus for this style of accommodation, with what seemed like a very new shower/bath and toilet. The air conditioning worked well. We were warmly welcomed and given a choice of three times for our evening meal which was a set menu. We were also given a choice of three breakfast times. The evening meal was in a dining room with western style chairs and consisted of many different dishes - they just kept coming!! We were certainly very full by the end of the meal and were served by very obliging staff. You also had the choice of several alcoholic drinks you could purchase if required. We were told that due to the good weather conditions there was a high chance of the fireflies being around a pond that evening a short walk down the road - we went and were treated to a wonderful display of nature. We then had a go on the free massage chairs in the hallway. Not for the faint hearted! Our mattresses were put out for us whilst we were at dinner and were perfectly adequate. After a peaceful nights sleep we had breakfast, again consisting of many courses. On our second night's stay we had a different set menu which was equally delicious. We spent our morning white water rafting locally (half an hour drive away) before visiting a 'spooky' village full of scarecrows and some vine bridges. For a small Japanese inn, we found Kazuraya to be marvellous and whilst obviously not a luxury hotel, we would strongly recommend it.

The other day, I went to Otsuka International Museum of art and used it on a day trip hot spring. I could drink water at the entrance and it was like, ”It's kind.” I went in and there was no shoe shed... I went out to the entrance and I went in. The dressing room was clean. The toilet did not say that the children smelled ... I stopped at the convenience store after entering. The bath was also ... When I traveled to Tokushima, I stayed in two rooms with my relatives. The basic making of two rooms was together and it was a three-story Maison net system. Grand XIV Naruto has the feel of a castle and allows you to experience an extraordinary experience. Gorgeous as far as the 360 ​​degree view. Most of all, I will never forget the dinner I had at Hatsumi during my stay. I stayed on the dinner choice plan and received a small portion. The hotel was in a good location as we were visiting family who live nearby. Nice outlook over the water. The room was perfectly adequate for the time we were there but I suggest that the bedding could be updated with a more modern duvet. Toothbrush and paste and comb were provided along with body soap, shampoo and conditioner. Coffee and tea were available at any time. Japanese breakfast was provided but it was identical for the three days we were there - some variety would have been appreciated. A basic English breakfast of toast, jam and fruit could have been offered catering more to the taste of foreign tourists. The reception team were very helpful with translations on their phone. The flight of stairs with a suitcase was somewhat daunting!
