Hotels With Bar in Quang Ninh Province, Vietnam

The hotel is new and clean, stuff is very friendly and professional. Everything was very good during our stay. The only unpleasant thing is construction right under windows of sea view rooms. It started at 7 am and was really loud. However, it is definitely not hotel’s fault, and moreover, the stuff provided us another room twice: one on the higher floor and another on the other side of the building, where the sound of construction is almost zero. We really appreciate that! As for location - you will need to use taxi to get to city centre, restaurant and cruise ports, but that’s ok, if you have Grab/Bolt. The prices between VND 45,000 and VND 140,000 depending on distance. N.B. We’ve visited Halong at very low season, so c. 60% of bars/ restaurants were closed and the rest were empty (except for couple of European).

This hotel was stunning, rooms, view, food and staff were 5 star. Trang was amazing and helped us with suggestions on where to go in the city and we were very pleased. They changed money for us multiple times with no hesitation. Helped us organise taxis, and were over all so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely with a huge variety of food. Shower was probably one of the best we have had in vietnam ...hot water great pressure amd spotless.

We stayed here towards the end of our trip. It was a great place to switch off and relax on the balcony, read a book, go to the gym, go for a swim in the pool etc. There are lots of kids around given it's a family friendly place. The buffet breakfast was really yummy with lots of different options (I'm gluten intolerant and there was still plenty to choose from). We paid for the buffet dinner one night which was nice however, I was expecting there to be some drinks other than water and tea/coffee on offer, you could buy drinks through the bar for an additional cost. Grounds are kept really well and the boat to and from the mainland was cool too.

The hotel is brand new and very clean. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The area is still under construction. This (at the moment) results in a less beautiful view/environment. But I am convinced that it will be beautiful within a year. The hotel location is quite far from the city center and shopping malls. A car or taxi is needed. Or you can get bicycles at the hotel. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Special note to Tracy, she has served us several times with very personalized service. Couldn't be better! The 3 restaurants in the hotel are highly recommended. We stayed 6 days in an apartment in this hotel.

It's easy to find, just walk 200 meters straight on the street directly opposite the port. The service staff can all communicate in Chinese. Although it is a five-star hotel, don’t overthink it. . . There is no socket in the room, so you can only use the bathroom. All services in the hotel do not accept mobile payment, only RMB cash. Absolutely quiet at night. There is a small shopping mall next to it with a coffee shop, CGV cinema, Li Ning, Anta, and Adidas counters. Important things to say three times: prepare enough RMB cash and prepare Chinese-Vietnamese translation software. . . Travel smoothly and worry-free

Great location, walking distance to Ha Long night market and all the shops & restaurants along Ha Long street. Good service, pleasant staff, excellent breakfast buffet. Clean, spacious and comfortable room. The only issue was the rowdy crowd who made the hotel breakfast buffet felt like being in a disorganized flea market, people were shoving themselves at all the buffet stations, they were yelling (calling each other), they all talked extremely loud as if they all half deaf. Quite disappointing to see this kind of behavior in a 5* hotel.

We needed an inexpensive hotel for a one night stay before our Halong Bay cruise. I have no idea how my spouse found this place but it was a great find. Located in a local neighborhood but close to shops, a great French bakery and many great restaurants. The only hick up we had, the cc machine didn’t work and I had to get cash from a nearly ATM. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The bathroom also was big and the shower had plenty of hot water. The bed was so comfortable after sleeping a week on hard wooden beds in the country side. The breakfast was to write home about but it was filling and the coffee was good…. The Aircon was good and the WiFi was AMAZING.

We wanted a hotel instead of usual overnight cruise for flexibility at night. Best Western Sapphire Ha Long was one of the few hotels where we could preselect ocean view room instead of it being up to chance/luck. The hotel itself was stunning! The staff so thoughtful, helpful and courteous that really elevated the experience to something very special. The hotel and rooms are very luxurious! We chose the 2 br oceanview and all rooms had amazing views, with the lounge having a balcony along with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the bay. It was so lovely relaxing. We had a drizzly day but it was still so special. The official photos are exactly what you get and are honest in their representation. The buffet breakfast is enormous in variety! Full Western and Asian selections with salads, pastries, noodles, congee, juice and muesli, hot cooked buffets just to name a few. There was plenty with no sign of running out when we were there (Dec). The breakfast room was huge and elegant. Definitely worth adding it on to your stay! We were warned by others that the location is not convenient to main centre, which was good advice, as it is about 15 mins drive over the bridge. However it is not so isolated from other things and there were many restaurants and cafes around it and the walkways along the way stunning. We were kind of just wanting to chill when no on the cruise so this was perfect for us! I would definitely recommend and hope to return one day.

Very poor service, no proper check in information, only breakfast time mentioned, all other information had to ask by myself. In general all staff needs proper training how to talk to guests. Not just answers like robots. While waiting for checkin (arrived before checkin time) asked if we can chill at the pool after lunch, staff answered immediately “it is hot there.”well that’s why we want to chill at the pool. During whole stay no one asked how is our experience. One time during busy dinner foreigner manager came to our table and asked only “are you guys well take care of?” I answered it’s ok. He didn’t bother to ask more. It was during dinner when glass of wine and tonic water arrived 20 minutes after it was ordered. Salad was finished already, my sandwich was wrong, they forgot about chicken. After telling it to the staff they just add few slices of cold chicken in club sandwich. Waitress My did good job, but they don’t have enough staff and she can’t take care of everything. Other restaurant staff don’t speak much English. When I ordered few slices of cheese for breakfast they did omelet with cheese. Next day was breakfast buffet due to higher occupancy with good variety of food, but quality is average for Mgallery. One more issue, our first night was not that busy since next day they did not do buffet for breakfast but a la care with few choices. They put us in the room next to family with little babe who was crying all the time. Rooms are not sound proof you can hear everything. I called reception and asked to move the room. Staff was friendly and confirmed that they can change it, but there was no apology, only “ok we will change your room”. The worst part was that when we were getting ready to change room housekeeping lady enter the room with own key. She said “housekeeping” and the same time opened the door, which is not acceptable. She didn’t seems to understand that she did something wrong. She wanted to check the room since we will be moving to other room. I was shocked. In general it looks like whole facility is left to run by staff without proper training and guest experience. Facility is great and could be amazing stay, overall wasn’t. Good points: apricot liquor cocktail was good, vegetarian curry was good, My waitress tired her best and very friendly, chef Hieu also very friendly person.

I stayed with my parents at @flc.hotelsandresorts in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam and here’s my feedback ⬇️ 👉 Truly a luxurious stay. The room was clean and spacious, with a really nice view of the golf course and part of Ha Long Bay. 👉 You have to visit the Sky Bar on 21st floor & Bamboo Restaurant. they both are top notch! .👉 Swimming pool was great but we didn’t use due to cold weather but they have indoor temperature controlled swimming pool as well which was equally wonderful 👉 Hotel staff left no stone unturned to make our stay memorable. 👉Only few staff speak English but that won’t be any issue 👉 Overall, if you planning with your parents/family, you should Consider this one..

I had a very memorable and satisfied staying at The Yacht Ha Long. Impressive design, many photo areas at the hotel are beautifully decorated. I have stayed in many hotels in Ha Long but this is my favorite hotel. Breakfast at the restaurant on the M floor is very rich and varied. Pho and coffee are delicious. The afternoon tea set is carefully prepared, the cakes are decorated very nicely and trendy. Professional, enthusiastic, attentive staff to support guests. My family has a small friend who goes with the staff is very caring. My family is very satisfied and will definitely come back next vacation.

I liked the hotel. It is located on a hill. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to the city beach, the same to the amusement park, and 10 minutes to the port by car. We were greeted very warmly, the staff is friendly, helps with everything, speaks English. The room is clean, comfortable, has everything you need. There is a small pool on the roof, where you can also order coffee, juices, and have a good time. The breakfast is delicious)

I chose this resort because of it has private beach and very good location. The service is totally contraption & very strange. From the moment when I arrive until I left the hotel, there nobody in this hotel say ”hello”. I arrived at noon and there was no one there assist us with our luggages. I stepped in the lobby, tried to get someone's attention but there was only a receptionist standing behind the counter, he even didn't want to look up until I approached him and asked to check in. Without saying ”hello”, he said my room is not available yet and I have to wait. When we arrived to our room, it had a very strong room's perfume which normally use for a very cheap guest house. For 2 days during our stay, there was a gardener working next to our room's door, right in front of the door to the beach view, so I had to close the curtain all the time. It'd better not to be called beachfront villa anymore. We booked for 4 people room, but everything was set up for 3 (pillow/ water) and the bathroom amenities were for 2 only. It's very strange! When we went to the restaurant for breakfast, there was nobody at the door (both days) to welcome and collect the vouchers. The food selection is below standard and tasteless., the crockeries were not polished after washing. There's a small kitchen behind the reception with a door opens to the walkway (visible to the guests) and horrible hygiene. The hotel's swimming pool is very nice, but there's no pool service: no pool guard, no food and beverage service. We went out for dinner and when we back to the hotel lobby, there's a bar there but seems no guest, no activities, no bartender. We chose to travel in weekdays and expected a better service but we chose wrong hotel. The room rate is compared to 4-5 stars hotel but the service and others deserve only 1.

The cruise is very nice and clean. The room is spacious and has very nice view. The service is good. They have activities for guests to enjoy like kayaking, cooking class, and dark and bright cave visit. The food provided is somehow decent for me comparing to the price I paid. For 2 days 1 night, they provided a buffet lunch, a set menu dinner and light breakfast and brunch on Day 2. But overall, it was a good experience.

The experience on the Erina Cruise was perfect. The boat is very comfortable and beautiful. The room is spacious and luxurious. The bed was perfect, it's a shame I didn't have more time to lie down. The boat provides numerous activities for travelers: fishing, cycling, diving, beaches, live performances, kayaking, heated pool, cable TV, etc. The included meals are very tasty and the service in the restaurant is remarkable. The cleaning of the room was excellent. My special thanks to the employee Lee who was kind and even learned a few words in my language to communicate with me. The music on the boat was very pleasant too. To help other travelers, I leave two tips: 1 - stay for at least 2 nights to make the most of the experience. Ha Long Bay deserves all the attention given. 2 - The internet is quite unstable. If you need to work, consider an alternative to what is offered on board.

La Regina Grand Cruises.. The cruise is good one, tho looked little old with squeaky wooden flooring but had an ancient luxurious touch to the interiors. Mobile internet & WIFI onboard signal was really really bad. Some activities provided onboard. And we did learn on how to make the vietnamese fried spring rolls. Overall was ok and yes u should add in your Hanoi trip!! 🥰🥰

We had great time in grand pradise. Totally satisfied with the service and itinerary. Especially thank to Tom who served my table. My parents felt very comfortable with his service. It has been a week since the travel. We are already missing the trip on the grand paradise cruise.

If you are looking for a Hotel near the Marina so you can board your Cruise in the morning then seriously consider this Hotel. The staff was pleasant and waited for our late arrival then arranged for us to be driver to the terminal on their EV. All four of us really enjoyed our stay here and wished we stayed an extra day instead of Hanoi. We arrived late so we didn't get to sample their cuisine but we had an enjoyable Breakfast Buffet.

I went on the cruise with my two sons, and we had a fantastic time. This was definitely the highlight of our entire Vietnam trip! The views were like heaven on earth, and being surrounded by karst islands from the ship felt truly magical. Our room was spacious, and we made full use of the jacuzzi and balcony, soaking in the stunning scenery. While there were only a few activities, they were perfect for someone like me in my 60s or for those who prefer a more relaxing cruise experience. We still got to enjoy a bamboo boat ride, explore the Dark and Bright Cave, take part in a cooking class, fishing village tour, and try squid fishing The food was excellent, and the staff were enthusiastic and friendly. Thank you for making our Vietnam trip so memorable!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Enchanted Hotel on 3-4 Feb 2024, and we must say, it exceeded all our expectations. We were greeted by a warm and friendly staff, One of the highlights of our stay was the impeccable service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction.

If you travel to Vietnam, taking a Cruise to Halong Bay should be in your TO DO list. It’ll make your trip remarkable and special. We chose 2 days / 1 night trip to this amazing place with Peony Cruises. It was All Inclusive with 4 times food (lunch, dinner, breakfast, brunch). The staff was very kind and attentive. They even changed some of the foods for dinner, bcoz we didn’t eat seafood. That was so sweet from their side. Indeed, the food was appetizing. We went kayaking, enjoyed one of the most beautiful sunsets and admired the stunning views. Then we visited Trung Trang Cave which was so astonishing.

The new hotel is beautiful and luxurious with a pretty good breakfast. The room is beautiful with a high view overlooking the whole China. My family had a pretty good experience here. Breakfast, although it was quite empty that day, the hotel still serves buffet. Full service. The swimming pool is part for children quite a lot of my children like it.

The environment is good, clean and hygienic, and well-equipped. I recommend this place when traveling.

The setting is relatively insufficient, the service attitude is very good, the sound insulation effect is really not very good, the hotel location is very good, just beside the main entrance of the port, it is very convenient to enter and exit, the health is OK, because there is no breakfast, so I don’t know how the dishes are, the security staff is very kind, and I will have a chance later. Good, cost-effective

The hotel is centrally located, convenient to travel. Rooms are large, clean. Friendly staff, change to a corner room when guests ask. Next to the hotel is a karaoke mixed bar, so if in the tail rooms 01-04 it will be a bit noisy.
