A truly satisfying stay! The hotel is in a very strategic location – close to shops, halal eateries, and popular tourist attractions. It made getting around during our holiday super convenient.
Our original room was a pool access room, and it was amazing! Having direct access to the pool from our room gave us such a fun and unique experience. However, due to a minor technical issue, the hotel staff responded quickly and efficiently.
The maintenance team was very professional, and we really appreciated their prompt action. Without any extra charges, the reception team upgraded us to a penthouse suite – and it turned out to be the best room ever! Spacious, cozy, and with a breathtaking view.
Overall, the service was outstanding – from the maintenance crew, front desk, to the cleanliness of the room. We were truly impressed and will definitely return for our next vacation. Highly recommended!

Had an absolutely brilliant time at this lovely hotel. All staff from check in to housekeeping were helpful and professional.
Room itself is very big and the shower is particularly impressive. Always had hot water and good water pressure. Daily housekeeping does a good job!
Although the hotel is a little far from the beach, there is a lot around in terms of food and shopping so you’ll never need to worry about needing anything. Room balcony is a big plus for smokers and peace.
Room service is truly divine and worth the cost! Also worth booking island tour through the hotel though I have to say would prefer private options with more time on the beach and for snorkeling.
My only complaints would be the pool is too shallow! I’m short and it was still too shallow for me. Also, it closes too early at 6pm.
Other than this, I totally enjoyed my stay. Thank you very much!

I recently stayed at what was advertised as a 4-star hotel, but unfortunately, my experience was far from impressive. The lobby area looked pristine, and the hotel certainly took pride in its public spaces, but the room left much to be desired.
When we walked in, it was immediately apparent that the room was not cleaned thoroughly. It seemed like they cleaned around the room rather than doing a deep clean. There were dead bugs on the wall, which was pretty off-putting, and the hand-held bidet was in an unacceptable state. It wasn’t cleaned before we arrived, nor was it attended to during our stay. For a hotel that supposedly offers a high standard, these oversights were shocking.
Given the hefty price we paid—more than what I’ve spent at 5-star hotels—I expected far better. The room itself was disappointing and clearly not maintained to the standard one would expect from a hotel of this supposed calibre. For the money, this hotel did not deliver the quality it promised.
Adding to the disappointment, the breakfast experience was just as underwhelming as the room. The hotel proudly claims that their bakery items are baked in-house, even displaying this in the restaurant—but this couldn’t be further from the truth. There wasn’t a single trace of fresh bakery aroma, and the items served looked and tasted like they came straight out of a supermarket package.
The overall breakfast selection was poor, lacking variety and freshness. Despite having paid for it as part of our stay, we ended up choosing not to eat there after the first attempt. The tea was weak and flavorless, and the machine-made hot drinks were almost undrinkable.

It’s incredibly frustrating to pay premium prices, expecting 4-star quality, only to receive service and amenities that wouldn’t pass for a 3-star. This stay was a major letdown from start to finish.

Pros: We booked this hotel for my birthday and in general it was great. There’s a pool outside our room, big toilet/bathroom, a TV, a sofa & a comfortable bed with nice lighting as well as a working fridge & very good AC.
We also appreciated the personalised touch for the set-up as there’s a tote bag already with towels ready to be used if you want to go to the beach/pool, a safe, two robes & comfortable slippers, and the cute Bangka pillows. we also like the aesthetic design of the hotel. Contemporary with a sense of nature element. There’s also a gym, a restaurant, an area to rent motorbike & get tours. There’s a free shuttle to Ao Nang beach on scheduled times & driver was nice & always smiling. We love the rooftop pool! =)
Cons: A bit far from town centre, need to book a grab or take the shuttle just to get food. Hotel restaurant does not have a lot of options and closes early. No restaurants or attractions within 5-minute walking distance from hotel. The aesthetic hallway mini-pool on the ground floor was nice but smelly. Most staff don’t speak English & not everyone is accommodating or smiling. Also, you have to open the doors for you to get-inside, not automatic. Also, our room door needed fixing as it was difficult to close or open, only one room key card. Otherwise, all good! =)

Excellent place to stay. Situated next to the beach with the main street just a couple of minutes' walk away. Rooms (bungalows) are small but have everything needed for a short beach holiday, with two nice pools in the complex. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant served off the menu is very good, although the free breakfast included was fairly average. Would definitely go back.

As I am solo traveller and plan to go out most of the time, I booked bunker bed to share with other threes. You can’t check in before 3pm no matter what. You can keep your belongings at the reception area, but it is not grantee that they are safe. Thankfully, nobody takes anything of mine. After you checked out, they don’t give a damn about you. i gave my phone no to the receptionist to give me a call when the taxi driver come and picked me. But, they don’t call you. You have to wait at the lobby and wait for taxi driver. So, please don’t go out like me when you are waiting for taxi driver to pick up.

Great location, one of the rare hotels facing the beach in that area and it is not that far from the busy ao nang beach road area. very close landmark night market, also to 7-11 and halal food court. Room spacious is ok for a couple, wide and comfortable bed with clean bathroom. Our only complaint is absence of iron at the hotel. Breakfast choice is so-so but we enjoyed the nice view from the restaurant.

We were a family. The hotel location was good. All the hotel staff were very good, except I felt that the front desk staff was little up tight. A swimming pool from fantastic, and so is the breakfast

The hotel is newish and looks nice. Staff are friendly. Check in at 3pm seems a little late compared to other hotels usually at 2. No TV in English. Gym is small but good enough to get a workout in. My main disappointment was the view from the room, it was not a cliff view like in the photo online. It’s a bit too far to walk to the beach but plenty of motorbike rentals around. The pool is small and not enough deck chairs for the about of people.

Hotel is located 10-15 mins walk from the active nightlife of Ao Nang and beach. If you are used to walk then it’s fine, else rent a scooter. Clean hotel and rooms too. Breakfast good but limited options.
Room cleaning service tag is to be hanged out on the door knob only before 10am that’s the only concern. They don’t have napkins, toothbrush and paste, only bath towels. Hair dryer available. Majority of the guests are from western country. They were kind and nice. Swimming pool is located outdoor. If you book a room make sure you book it on top floor to see a wonderful view like this in picture. I’d rate the hotel 4.0/5. Amenities can be improved to get 5/5.

FF.M. MendeI stay at Royal Nakara whenever I go to Krabi, and depending on availability. I love the staff, the spacious rooms, the location - literally, less than a minute's walk away to a fully-equipped gymnasium - and the less-cluttered and quiet environment. Restaurants and the beach are just down the road.
I've already booked a room for another stay in September/October.
SSitiFThe check in and check out process was easy and smooth, we were charged 1000 baht for deposit. It took about 10 mins walk from the jetty to the hotel. They even have a private beach area which is not as crowded as the other areas in the island. The staff even helped to bring our luggage to the jetty as we had 4 hours to spare before our ferry departure, so we managed to stroll around the island without having to carry our luggage along with us. The staffs are very nice and helpful. The stay and the cleanliness of the room was great considering the cheap rate.
GGuest UserGreat location where takes only few minutes to the beach.
Lots of service such as laundry and currency exchange, convenient stores are within 1 minute walk from the entrance.
Every room and every Villa is surrounded by green and bird's Singing.
The staff are nice and professional.
Also We like to have breakfast at the nearby waterfall and enjoy the sunshine through green.
I would like to recommend people to stay with pakasai resort if they plan a vacation in Krabi.
GGuest UserWe were a family. The hotel location was good. All the hotel staff were very good, except I felt that the front desk staff was little up tight. A swimming pool from fantastic, and so is the breakfast
GGuest UserExcellent hotel on the beach. The rooms, service and breakfast were pleasing. There are free kayaks, you can swim to the neighboring beaches. The hotel itself is located away from busy areas and shops. Therefore, you need to either take a bike, you can at the hotel, or buy everything you need in advance. Tuk-tuk does not go to this hotel, there are no taxis on the island. To get from the hotel to the north of the island you will need a hotel transfer. I liked the hotel, for a vacation for several days, in silence and almost no people on the beach.
GGuest UserFrom all of the hotel I been to over 20+ year of traveling over Europe and Asia I never seen any hotel as big as this not to mention the swimming pool is extremely beautiful, the service was a solid 7/10 the room 8/10 but just the look of the hotel and the swimming pool is a 100/10 and it’s even close to the beach and the night market the beach is right in front of the hotel not more than a 1 minute walk and the night market is around 5 minute away and it’s also fill with delicious food! I high recommend this hotel, such wonderful experience, it should be a tourist attraction, overall 9/10 hotel great place to stay for a while highly recommend!👍
GGuest UserThis hotel is quite outdated, needs a little refresh. It’s in a good location, a 5minute walk to the beach. The rooms are large, but the cleaning is not great, our room was never cleaned properly. The kids enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was good, though some guests get too handsy, putting you off (no fault of the hotel).
PPaulina CatherineThe hotel was nice - view from the room was brilliant! However do note this hotel is not accessible: the hike to the room was difficult even for people in their 30s. It’s also quite far away from the town. Pool is rather dated. Longtail boat transfer to and from the pier was great bonus!pity that the reception staff weren’t nice - in all other hotels in Thailand we were welcomed with a big smile, but here the check in took forever and the staff seemed to look at the customers as a bother
GGuest UserGreat place on beach, plunge pool villa was big large fridge and private, less than 100m from beach. Great breakfast, egg station, bacon. Beach bars had good prices and good food. Walk to road about 10mins, minimart on main road for beers, ice, snacks. Staff were great. We got an awesome off season price
EElvis.007Very cool. We got welcome drinks which was good and refreshing. But didn’t check in before 2 pm because of so rush season. Have good breakfast but night service over phone not up to the mark. But I left my phone charger in the room but from hotel management send it to Bangkok which was really appreciable. I should mention the location was totally perfect spot because no need to walk from ferry place. Recommended.
