Didn't realize the hotel got two towers. We stay at tower 2.... Got the room with balcony..... Very convenient as it connected to the mall. The breakfast is good

I would say it was a great stay. As a long staying guest ( Feb 2020 - May 2020 )the entire staff has never failed me with their services, from the front to the back of the staffs. Lobby ambiance was so warm with the interior. The hotel located in the main street of Jl. Gajah Mada where we can find many street food vendors at night. Coffee lovers would like to spend their time at KEKO ( kedai kopi ). Yet, coffee terrace in Orchardz Hotel Gajah Mada could not be missed. They offered live music on the weekend tho. They served live coffee ” traditional serving ” during breakfast at The Ritz Cafe. Kenny made special coffee . Thank you Orchardz Hotel Gajah Mada team. Keep up the good work!!

Although the hotel located in the heart of the town but the room is not really clean and I was given the smoking room while I never request it. So it’s like a default to get the smoking room. The only nicest thing is the location.

The place is very nices, the food is also delicious at a friendly price. The service is also very good, the waiters are Ozy and siska are very friendly very recommended. The music is also okay, the main thing is very satisfying

Really good hotel! If you have experienced ‘4 star international luxury/business hotels’ in provincial Indonesian cities you are in for a very pleasant surprise here. All staff I encountered were pleasing and helpful. The general features of the hotel are good, although when there is a band in the large reception level bar it is rather noisy in the rest of the lobby area. Reception efficiently arranged cars for me on several occasions. The reception staff can understand simple English and as a non-Indonesian speaker I had no problem with any requests. The Cinimon restaurant served me a very tasty and interesting nasi goreng with chicken sate. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of dishes - the fried, the spicy, omelettes, noodle and rice dishes, salads and various pastries including freshly made pancakes and waffles. There could be a wider selection of fruits, just three with only two one morning. However, an impressive breakfast offering. Room was a standard type with a shower in the bathroom. All things worked, shower good. Two large towels but no small ones. Bed comfy. Air conditioning effective. I stayed twice; first had city view and the second an small internal courtyard. The only obtrusive noise was a 4.00am called to prayer but that’s inescapable in many Indonesian cities. I heard this over two nights in the city view room but nothing in the other room I stayed in. I would happily here again.

I choose this hotel for a bathtube. I never expected the very unpleasant and offensive experience from Merpati Hotel Pontianak. I stay with them for two nights. They were not offering us an help to take our luggage to our room. Since there is no elevator and they put us in 3rd floor, I think it best to offer your guest some help. The room was dirty, the floor was cover by dust and the bed linen is full of spots also holes from cigarette ashes. The bathroom condition was not that far from the room itself. The sink leaking and the water was green. The breakfast had no many of choices, only rice, chicken something and fried noodle. All the food was greasy. I don't took my second day breakfast and choosing order some nasi padang from outside. I cannot imagine how I survived. The unpleasant moment is not over yet. At the last night, we were so hungry and want to order some food. No one picked up the phone like they were not put the right way the phone to avoid the call. So we call the reception to having information about the restaurant open hour, they said they didn't know anything about it. As I remember, the front office is just next of the restaurant and they work for the same hotel I guess. So they suggested us to go down and order by ourselves. I went to the front office to check for the second time that the restaurant still open and some old guy just putting his finger to the restaurant. That was rude number one. The rudeness is not over yet, some old lady with a green hijab and big glasses take my order. When I asked her about the Nasi Goreng Merpati, she only answer me as it is a fried rice. For godsake I know what it is. I asked for a tailored menu and she only shaken her head. I assume she cannot speaks Bahasa Indonesia. For your information they charged 30K IDR for greasy and tasteless fried rice. In the next day, someone from the front office called us and asked us to check out rudely and not offering to take our luggage down. I couldn't stand their rudeness anymore so I thrown away my key card to last night rude lady's face and hopping the hotel just close for business.

The hotel seems to be an old hotel. Location in Jend Urip Street. Close to Pontianak High School 1st. A bit far we can go to the city port, can go to a hanging out in front of the Korem River or Kodam now. The city is not too far. The hotel is quite calm. Car parking is a bit limited. The rooms are quite comfortable, some people use windows or no umbrellas. wifi is available in each room. For breakfast provided there are not many kinds. Yes standard fried rice, bread, soup, coffee etc. Service is pretty good.

The horel rooms are big and comfortable, but all fixtures and furnitures are outdated, old and not well maintained, need to do some remodeling to upgradw the furniture and fixtures

Brief stay unfortunately as the hotel offers many creature comforts including large well appointed rooms and great dining. Reception very good service. Refreshing welcome drink was offered and accepted with pleasure.

The reception is very friendly, prompt, and helpful. The hotel rooms were tidy and clean. The restaurant served tasty and simple traditional items for breakfast which was an attraction to travelers to try local foods. The hotel's spa service was commendable. The location of Transera hotel is close to the town center and other entertainment shopping outlets that give residents choices for activities. Thanks to Ani at the reception who helped us with information that made our onward travel much easier. We would recommend Hotel Transcera to those who are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in the town center.
