The hotel has high level of service and facility. The restaurant service and food is supreme. Parking space is totally enough if you do self drive like us. The indoor heat is a little too much even when turn it down like 20 oC. It is -5 to 3 outside. So many onsen option is our reason to pick this hotel. Totally recommend for any small group or family to consider.

The staff is very nice and have a good arrangement of the room. The room is clean and spacious. And we can enjoy the onsen with a good view of whole Maehashi city. Can enjoy the manga after onsen. The food of restaurant is also delicious.

No towels are provided in the public hot spring places and needa to bring from room to the onsen spot. Asked the staff about the routes from Kusatsu to Shinjuku and they have no clue at all. Finally got one English speaking staff told us that theres direct bus from the station to Shinjuku. Asked again whether advanced booking of the bus tickets are needed and the staff said it’s not necessary. We ended up the next day missed two earlier buses coz they were already full and we were reluctant to have 2 times transport changes by asking the tourism information centre. Barely staffs can speak and understand English well. However, the French set dinner are really nice and out of our expectations.

No sauna or large public bath. Very clean, cheerful service and right in front of JR Train Station. Highly recommended.

Overall staying in this hotel was pleasant, and it was of great value considering the package had already included dinner and breakfast buffet. The main entrance of the hotel was up on a slope, which was not as easy as we were carrying luggage. Remember to ask the front desk for the password of the back gate. It was a short cut route leading to the main shopping street and the Kusatsu Yubatake. The room was pleasant and clean, a bit too basic. There was only a socket near the tv wall, not close to the bed, which was a bit inconvenient. There was wide range of food in the buffet, with some interesting local dishes. Food was delicious. The hotel also offer free late night snack noodle, which worth trying too.

Takaragawa Onsen exceeded all expectations. Upon arriving at Jomokogen station, a friendly driver meets you with a sign and drives you comfortably for 25 km. You need to register in advance by sending an email to the hotel. Upon entering, you immediately feel transported to the past: you leave your shoes, choose a yukata robe with an obi, receive socks and special bathing attire, and proceed to your room in a traditional Japanese style (I highly recommend this to fully experience the atmosphere of the place). When you enter the room, you will likely experience a shock, as it feels like you've stepped into an old movie. I recommend a room with a small balcony in the Main building overlooking the river. Check-in is around 3 PM. You can change and head straight to the hot springs. Yes, everyone has been to saunas, steam rooms, and hammams, but the onsen is unlike anything else. It's impossible to convey the emotions. The combination of hot, clear water, pure air, surrounding nature, the rushing river, the play of light on the leaves, the scents, and the silence offers something new and unique. There are three public baths on the premises and one exclusively for women. After bathing, head to the restaurant for dinner, featuring local dishes. I recommend ordering both dinner and breakfast in advance. The food is very delicious and unique. You will sleep on futons, which will be carefully laid out for you while you have dinner. It’s a wonderful experience, and you'll sleep as lightly as a child. I would love to return here to experience that happiness again. One day was not enough.

Given that the hotel is abit old, the 3 star cleanliness is referring to the old facility at guy side onsen. It’s not maintain well and everything looks old. It’s 10mins walking distance to bus terminal and another 5-6mins to yubatake. Bonus point gives to free shuffle from/to daitokon with the very precise bus schedules. Room is clean but bear in mind, it’s not non-smoking hotel so might have chance to smell cigarette smell in room. Fortunately, our room is good. Overall we satisfy with our stay at kusatsu onsen resort.

I specially arranged for the hotel to help me make an anniversary cake as a surprise for my wife. Thank you for your help. The arrangement also included free popsicle tasting after soaking in the hot springs, which was very good. It would be better if there was fresh milk for sale. When we left the hotel on the second morning, the hotel also gave us a pair of sake as a gift. Thank you to the hotel staff for your service.

It seems to be one of the eight largest hot spring hotels in Asia. The facilities are of course first-rate. The designers and owners’ attentiveness can be seen in every detail, making the guests feel relaxed and comfortable. All three public baths have indoor and open-air baths, and sake lees masks and various moisturizers are provided free of charge. For a hot spring hotel of this level, the waiters were of course friendly, especially the brother who was responsible for picking me up at the station. The only foreign lady who was responsible for receiving me at the beginning was also very cute. The only bad thing is.....the food is plentiful but really not tasty! I am not a picky eater, but I can't finish breakfast and dinner.

A very old hot spring hotel, well worth a visit. There is enough space in the parking lot. Everything is complete and comfortable once you check in. The hot spring is very good and effective.

We stayed for two nights for the pool. Our 4-year-old child seemed to enjoy the pool, so he went to the pool two days in a row, sliding down the slide, and taking a break in the lazy river. It may depend on the plan, but it's a bit disappointing that even guests have to pay for the pool. The room was spacious and the view was nice.

This was my first time staying here! There are a lot of families here! When you enter the hotel, it smells a bit bad, probably because of the humidity. It's a long walk to get to our room for my husband and I, who don't have very good knees. There are also a lot of stairs, so it would be nice if there was a barrier-free area. The food is delicious! There are both Japanese-style and Western-style rooms, and we were able to relax in the spacious rooms.

Rooms were small and tight for a couple. Location was great with the rail station just next door. Eateries were easy to find and there is a mall. Super convenient if you need anything. Overall we had a great stay

There are not many tourists in Gaoqi. This hotel is across the street from the LABI electronics store on the left side of the station exit, so it is easy to find. There are many places to eat near the station. I stayed for two days as a transit. I bought the Niigata-Nagano JRPASS to go from Takasaki to Nagano. It was very convenient to go back to Niigata, and the accommodation was cheap. The hotel has been open for a few years, so the facilities are not new. But as a business hotel, the price/performance ratio is very high.

It is very close to Takasaki Station, and it is a 5-minute walk from the station along the main road. The rooms are small and the facilities are old. The front desk staff is amiable. Go out of the east exit of Gaoqi Station and turn left for about 5 minutes. It is very convenient. The entrance of the hotel is too hidden and not easy to find. There is a DOMREMY factory direct store next to it, a paradise for sweet parties. The room space is suitable for massage chairs, bath salt floss, etc. are all available. There is 711 on the right hand side of the hotel, and the dining can be solved at Takasaki Station. The bath on the 10th floor is too useless this time. I plan to live in this house next time. I will try it again.
