The hotel is not close to takamatsu station (15 walk) but is next to the bus stop connecting with airport. Hotel staff are helpful and nice. Room is spacious. We stayed 3 nights. However, on the last day, both of us got stung by insects and we suspected there are fleas in the room. The stung marks can’t even be gone after 7 days.

２ mid-middle, ２ night ３ day Shikoku trip, １ night I disturbed my wife. The location is located in the downtown area of Takamatsu, about ５ minutes walk from Kotoden Kawaramachi Station, there is a large shopping center nearby (next to the next), and there is a convenience store at the entrance of the hotel, which is very convenient. It is easy to understand if you use the red brick color appearance and the large cat object as a marker. There is no parking lot, and if you use a car, the parking lot of the adjacent shopping center (Marugame Town Green) is a affiliated P, so you will be asked to discount at check-in. The front desk, lounge and restaurant are on the ２ floor, and breakfast is served here. ３ The lower floors above the floor are the hotel floors. The upper floors are dormitories, and there seems to be a coin laundry in the middle. I used the twin on the hotel floor, but the room seems to have been renovated recently and the room is clean. The size is minimal, especially the unit bath is extremely narrow, so if you use each toilet, washbasin, and bath, you may be in danger of hitting your feet and head if you don't devise a little. Even if I was １７３ centimeters tall, I thought that my knees would stick to the wall when I sat down, and if a large foreign traveler used it, I would have a hard time. On the other hand, I was impressed with breakfast, and instead of the busy place that is often found in business hotels, the restaurant with a wide 々 and space has a rich buffet menu. In addition, each item was devised, and I was able to have a delicious and comfortable breakfast. The staff were young and kind. There is also a service to provide tea brewing for midnight snacks. Got free upgrade to the room with bath tube The room size is larger than the normal Japanese hotel room with free snack at fridge. We didnt try the onsen at the top floor of the hotel, but did tried the ice cream which is for free. The twin bed is good in size and comfortable. It takes about 15-20 mins walk to Mitsukoshi, but pretty near the main shopping street. Nothing to complaint

JR高松駅からは少し離れていて、琴電の瓦町駅が近いホテルです。 高松駅から歩くなら徒歩20分です。兵庫町の商店街と中央商店街をしばらく歩き、1本曲がったところにあります。 ホテル周辺は飲み屋が多いですが、予想していたよりは静かでした。 バストイレ別のホテルですが、洗面台がベッドの横にあるのでその点は好みが分かれるかもしれません。洗面台がもう少し大きいと良いと思いました。 部屋は大きめのキャリーバッグだと何とか広げられるか、少し厳しい広さのため、連泊期間が長いなら必要な荷物を絞ったほうが良さそうです。

, iwI am the big fan of Kyoritsu Resort and stayed every time we have opportunity at various locations. This is among the one of the best Kyoritsu Resort I've stayed. Location is in the middle of Omotesando to Konpira-san, on the beautiful old fashioned street. We stayed at Triple room with 2 bedrooms, 1 with Queen and 2 twin in living room with sofa. There's small shower in the room with double vanity, separate toilet. Room was very spacious, private and well, well, well stocked. 4 sets of glasses, coffee cups, tea cups, coffee grinder, water in fridge, vanity table with small chairs, 2 closets etc. etc. Cannot complain anything. Dinner was served either 5:30am and 8pm. Service is slow but you'll get to finish in about 1.5hrs. There were 4 private lockable bathroom PLUS large women/men separate bathroom. We didn't have issue using private bathroom, always has at least 1 available and kept well clean. There was lounge next to bathrooms with water, ice pops. Also free washer/dryer (2 each) which was really help. I love this hotel, design and interior are perfect, I can't wait to come back and stay again. If you are driving, you may park right in front of main entrance and drop off luggage. Parking is in the rear of building. You have to be careful not to past the small road to go to rear of main building bc road is VERY narrow, easy to miss.

The hotel is right next to the airport bus stop and no need to tow or walk a long time with luggage. room is japan standard room size but clean. Very good breakfast.

Stayed there for a night and we enjoyed the area. The hotel itself is very simple but great for a night. If you driving like me there a few parking lots around and not expensive which is very convenient.

It is a formal hotel that can stay at a reasonable price, although it is a little far from the station. Because I used it on a trip to sanuki Udon, it was good to be able to access the famous shop where the procession can be made in taga town on foot (２０ minutes) after the first walk in the morning. Other than that, the parking lot was ２４ free time access, so it was convenient. The room used a standard twin. It's not large, but it was comfortable with no inconvenience, clean and well-cleaned in a beautiful room. This is a hotel you want to use again when staying in Takamatsu.

I love this hotel! It may have been because I ended up in a corner suite with a hinoki onsen, which was one of the best hotel rooms I’ve ever had, but also because of the incredible location and the kind and diligent staff made this place a truly great experience. The food was terrific and since I was there three nights they went out if their way to insure I had a unique meal each breakfast and dinner. Many hotels in japan boast onsen but Hanajukai’s water isn’t treated or diluted, no chlorine smell and a wonderful, soft mineral feel. I’m a picky traveler who’s been around the world and have stayed at some of the top rated 5 star hotels but my experience at Hanajukai is one I will hold close to my heart.

This is a typical Japanese hotel, rather small rooms, but clean and comfortable, very friendly and helpful staff, and we had access to the lounge where we had breakfast each day and drinks and snacks in the evening. There was a choice of American or Japanese breakfast cooked to order, as well as juice, tea or coffee and a small selection of fruit, cereal and pastries. The room had no air conditioning, only heating when we were there in April so became very stuffy at night. We could open the window but there was a lot of noise from the street, traffic lights, level crossing, general traffic noise, especially at the weekend. We had to use the loop bus from the station with our luggage as it is a good 20 minute walk. The ferry pier and Ritsurin garden are about the same distance. On the way back to the station we got a taxi. However, it is very close to the 2 main shopping arcades and there are plenty of restaurant choices nearby.

We just returned from a quick but memorable trip to Shikoku. We stayed at Kotohira Kadan for our first night since it's conveniently situated to enjoy some of the finest Sanuki Udon noodle restaurants in the area (we chose not to explore Kotohira-gu (aka ”Konpira-san”) - that will be reserved for a next visit.) While we enjoy modern rooms as much as the next person, we also appreciate traditional architecture, furnishings and decor... and Chouseiden (長生殿), Kotohira Kadan's top room, oozed history and tradition in a way that left us with a lasting impression. Chouseiden is one of a handful of stand-alone villas at the ryokan, and was inhabited by the local Lord many years ago. It's also liberally adorned with the art collection of the original owner Kotohira Kadan, including ancient folding screens, sliding doors and hanging scrolls that were produced by famous artists. It's so history-laden that it is bound to creep some people out... I don't think Mrs. KI-NRT would ever choose to live in such a room, but as an ”experience” it was well worth the privilege of trying out Chouseiden. It does have the comforts of a modern ryokan/hotel, such as toilets with washlets, fast WiFi and Western-style beds, and boasts 152m² of total living space, which is generous by any definition of a flagship ryokan room. The only drawback was the lack of a private Onsen (natural hot springs) bath in the room - something we've come to expect at top-level ryokans, at least (and especially) in their top rooms. Some of the standard rooms do offer in-room Onsen baths, however, which might tip the scales to the non-villa rooms' favor for some people. As a consolation, Kotohira Kadan offers the use of their private bath (which can be rented out by the hour), and it's free for guests staying at one of the Hanare Villa rooms. Food was served in our room, and it was a delight. While it's not the best ryokan meal we've ever had, we appreciated the efforts taken by the kitchen staff to offer seasonal and local dishes that gave us a good taste of Kagawa. In particular, the deep-fried Pike Conger with simmered vegetables doused in a dashi broth was unique and flavorful, as well as the Red Sea Bream Shabu Shabu (Hot Pot.) Breakfast was also varied and bountiful, although nothing really blew us away, which is just as well, since we were planning to go on an Udon tasting expedition beginning later that morning. The grounds are not massive, but there's a pretty little pond with some interesting vegetation around it. And the architecture of the Hanare Villas (including Chouseiden) give Kotohira Kadan a real sense of place given its proximity to Kotohira-gu. Keep in mind that the property is quite large when it comes to room count (43 total), so there may be some walking between your room and the main reception and lounge areas (from Chouseiden, you'll need to walk outside for a short distance - fine if the weather is cooperating.) Service is not up to the standards set by top luxury r

During our road trip throughout Western Japan, we needed to spend the night after touring Kochi but before heading to Tomonoura (near Fukuyama in Northern Hiroshima Prefecture.) Looking on the map, and after extensive research, we were hopeful that Asan Kotonami would hit all the right buttons as a luxury Onsen (natural hot springs) ryokan with a mountain retreat vibe and good food. All in all, we enjoyed our stay here and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. It's about a 30 minute drive from Kotohira-gu (aka Konpira-san), which is the nearest major tourist attraction. Since we had our own car, there was not much effort in getting here, but accessibility to Asan Kotonami might be a bit more challenging if one resorted strictly to public transportation. In any case, if you're looking for something that's not a large, city hotel and is relatively luxurious, there are few (if any) other options - in fact, I'd say that Asan Kotonami might turn out to be the de-facto choice in this regard. First off, it's a gorgeous ryokan - it's in a picturesque location nestled in a mountainous area of rural Kagawa Prefecture. It's modern but done with a simplistic yet stylish Japanese aesthetic that will please many people. Unlike many luxury ryokans, however, Asan Kotonami is relatively new - it was built in 2017, meaning it is not worn down in any way. We loved the modern Japanese architecture, furnishings and decor, and the fact that it was in a remote location surrounded by nature. Thumbs up. We stayed in the ”Type F” room, which is described as a Japanese-Western room with Open-Air Bath. It's Western in that the bedroom has two beds and a couch. The ”living” area is Japanese in that you either sit on the floor, or on an oddly shaped and very low ”chair.” I guess you can call the living room being more Japanese than Western, but it's definitely Japanese in that it's a tiny room. Overall, it's uncomfortable and unusable, which was a shame, because I often need to work late at night, meaning we prefer a nice living room (for work) and a separate bedroom with sufficient noise insulation. Asan Kotonami didn't have that here, unfortunately. The room only had one sink, which is a drawback for a luxury property that was newly built less than 5 years ago. On the positive side, the open-air outdoor Onsen (natural hot springs) bath on our room terrace was fantastic, and internet was very speedy. In addition to the Onsen our room, Asan Kotonami also had among the nicest communal (gender-segregated) ”Daiyokujo” Onsen baths that we've ever experienced. It's almost Disneyland-like in that it's stylish, expansive and has several indoor and outdoor bathing options. It's possible that the property gets an abundance of the hot spring water directly from the source, because they certainly don't make any effort to preserve it. We stayed for two nights and booked Kaiseki cuisine for dinner at the hotel on the first night. The kaiseki cuisine provided by the hotel is satisfactory in terms of dishes and portion size, and the restaurant environment is very spacious.

犬2匹連れてお邪魔しました。犬にも私達夫婦にも優しく親切にして頂きました。 露天風呂も良かったですし、本館の大浴場も、サウナもあり、とても良かったです。 チェックインの時間より、かなり早く到着してしまったのですが、嫌な顔もなく、対応頂きました。ただ、夕食に陶板で焼肉が最後にありましたが、部屋に煙が充満して、外気をいれて換気を長時間しなくてはならず、大変でした。 その点がマイナスポイントです。しかしお料理も美味しく、朝食も美味しく頂きました。ありがとうございました。 うどんが名物で有名な土地なので、おうどんも頂きたかったです。

近年宿泊した中で一番と言っても過言ではないくらい良かったです。 大人も子供も満足でした。 ★部屋★ 大人２名・子供２名 ４人でも広く感じました。 和室で、１９時頃お布団を敷きに来てもらいました。 私は枕が変わると寝れないのですが、硬くもなくフワフワし過ぎもなくでぐっすり寝れました。 トイレとお風呂が一緒でしたが、温泉なので部屋のお風呂は使うことはありませんでした。 狭いけど特に気になりません。 ★温泉★ 最高でした。 脱衣所にタオルが置いてあったので、わざわざ部屋にあるタオルを持って行く必要がなかったです。 露天風呂も、タイルで滑りやすいとかなく歩きやすかったです。 子供と入りましたが、ほんっとに楽しかったです。 朝も入浴しました。 以前湯当たりしたことがあったのであまり朝は入らないのですが、ここの温泉は熱過ぎずのぼせることもなかったです。 朝と夜では男女入れ替わります。 どちらも良かったです。 ★その他★ 仲居さんもとてもフレンドリーで、感じが良かったです。 旅館の前で入り口から離れたところで家族写真をお願いしても、笑顔で対応していただきました。 一眼レフでお願いしたのに、せっかくだから携帯でもと言っていただきました。 館内も清潔でした。 子供もかなり満足したようで、絶対にまた泊まりたいと言っております。 次の日に金比羅山に登りましたが、そのまま車を停めておいてよかったし、杖も無料で貸し出しをしてくれました。 四国は初めてだったけどほんっとに楽しかったです。 売店の商品も充実してました。 ししゃもねこにハマってしまって、売店でもグッズが売ってあり買いました。

They couldn’t find our reservation when we arrived but we were given the same price that we had reserved it at. It was a good place to stay for one night and across from a supermarket. There’s a convenience store located next door but not a lot of choices nearby for meals. We had to walk almost a kilometer to a restaurant that we wanted to try. The breakfast buffet was simple but sufficient and it was not crowded. There’s a coffee machine that you can use anytime. There is a family floor that has a microwave and a kitchen that can be used. They offer some instant noodles after 930 pm.

It is a transportation flight, but I went by plane, but there is a bus stop in front of the inn by the airport bus, and the airport bus stop on the return is also convenient to walk for less than 5 minutes. There is also a convenience store nearby, and of course the approach to the kintohira Gu shrine is also very close. I think it is good to think about cost performance except for those who say that it is not a luxury inn. By the way, I will stay at super luxury hotels (Marriott category 8, Empire Hotel, hotels representing the country overseas, etc.), super luxury inns, and I sometimes stayed at a cartoon cafe when I didn't have money. I stayed here for the first time on my way back from hiking Mt. ** from Kotohira Shrine, and it was a comfortable stay with ample facilities including a hot spring bath and free massage machines, and the room was well furnished. There was Wi-Fi connection in the building, and the front desk was also able to provide information on nearby restaurants and convenience stores, so I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity. (Some drawbacks include the limited hours for using the hot spring bath, and the fact that the parking lot is a little difficult to find when accessing from the Konpira Shrine side, and the limited capacity.)

, iwI am the big fan of Kyoritsu Resort and stayed every time we have opportunity at various locations. This is among the one of the best Kyoritsu Resort I've stayed. Location is in the middle of Omotesando to Konpira-san, on the beautiful old fashioned street. We stayed at Triple room with 2 bedrooms, 1 with Queen and 2 twin in living room with sofa. There's small shower in the room with double vanity, separate toilet. Room was very spacious, private and well, well, well stocked. 4 sets of glasses, coffee cups, tea cups, coffee grinder, water in fridge, vanity table with small chairs, 2 closets etc. etc. Cannot complain anything. Dinner was served either 5:30am and 8pm. Service is slow but you'll get to finish in about 1.5hrs. There were 4 private lockable bathroom PLUS large women/men separate bathroom. We didn't have issue using private bathroom, always has at least 1 available and kept well clean. There was lounge next to bathrooms with water, ice pops. Also free washer/dryer (2 each) which was really help. I love this hotel, design and interior are perfect, I can't wait to come back and stay again. If you are driving, you may park right in front of main entrance and drop off luggage. Parking is in the rear of building. You have to be careful not to past the small road to go to rear of main building bc road is VERY narrow, easy to miss.

We just returned from a quick but memorable trip to Shikoku. We stayed at Kotohira Kadan for our first night since it's conveniently situated to enjoy some of the finest Sanuki Udon noodle restaurants in the area (we chose not to explore Kotohira-gu (aka ”Konpira-san”) - that will be reserved for a next visit.) While we enjoy modern rooms as much as the next person, we also appreciate traditional architecture, furnishings and decor... and Chouseiden (長生殿), Kotohira Kadan's top room, oozed history and tradition in a way that left us with a lasting impression. Chouseiden is one of a handful of stand-alone villas at the ryokan, and was inhabited by the local Lord many years ago. It's also liberally adorned with the art collection of the original owner Kotohira Kadan, including ancient folding screens, sliding doors and hanging scrolls that were produced by famous artists. It's so history-laden that it is bound to creep some people out... I don't think Mrs. KI-NRT would ever choose to live in such a room, but as an ”experience” it was well worth the privilege of trying out Chouseiden. It does have the comforts of a modern ryokan/hotel, such as toilets with washlets, fast WiFi and Western-style beds, and boasts 152m² of total living space, which is generous by any definition of a flagship ryokan room. The only drawback was the lack of a private Onsen (natural hot springs) bath in the room - something we've come to expect at top-level ryokans, at least (and especially) in their top rooms. Some of the standard rooms do offer in-room Onsen baths, however, which might tip the scales to the non-villa rooms' favor for some people. As a consolation, Kotohira Kadan offers the use of their private bath (which can be rented out by the hour), and it's free for guests staying at one of the Hanare Villa rooms. Food was served in our room, and it was a delight. While it's not the best ryokan meal we've ever had, we appreciated the efforts taken by the kitchen staff to offer seasonal and local dishes that gave us a good taste of Kagawa. In particular, the deep-fried Pike Conger with simmered vegetables doused in a dashi broth was unique and flavorful, as well as the Red Sea Bream Shabu Shabu (Hot Pot.) Breakfast was also varied and bountiful, although nothing really blew us away, which is just as well, since we were planning to go on an Udon tasting expedition beginning later that morning. The grounds are not massive, but there's a pretty little pond with some interesting vegetation around it. And the architecture of the Hanare Villas (including Chouseiden) give Kotohira Kadan a real sense of place given its proximity to Kotohira-gu. Keep in mind that the property is quite large when it comes to room count (43 total), so there may be some walking between your room and the main reception and lounge areas (from Chouseiden, you'll need to walk outside for a short distance - fine if the weather is cooperating.) We stayed for two nights and booked Kaiseki cuisine for dinner at the hotel on the first night. The kaiseki cuisine provided by the hotel is satisfactory in terms of dishes and portion size, and the restaurant environment is very spacious.

They couldn’t find our reservation when we arrived but we were given the same price that we had reserved it at. It was a good place to stay for one night and across from a supermarket. There’s a convenience store located next door but not a lot of choices nearby for meals. We had to walk almost a kilometer to a restaurant that we wanted to try. The breakfast buffet was simple but sufficient and it was not crowded. There’s a coffee machine that you can use anytime. There is a family floor that has a microwave and a kitchen that can be used. They offer some instant noodles after 930 pm.

it was cheap on the way back to kochi I stayed with my family for one night only to climb Mr. kinhira. The room is no problem if you just sleep. Loan cut wind Lu も Liang く. The nearby rice shop was delicious and good. Super dissatisfaction I can't stop because the import car is large in the parking lot. I was taken to a parking lot a little far away. It's a decent car, so I'm worried that I'm going to take it to a place I don't see, and I took it to a place I didn't know at check-out, but I was told to look at the map myself to get it. I was very, very dissatisfied.
