It is very convenient, very walkable to shops and eateries around. Indeed very clean and comfortable. There are ample parking beside and around, not worth it to park at the hotel. Rooms are compact and efficiently laid out.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and it was lovely. Check in and out was smooth. The hotel is very nice, clean and looks luxurious. Sited right next to Tenmonkan street and 2 min walk to tenmonkan tram station. Donki and Lawson right next door too. Location is very convenient. Room is abit small but we knew this beforehand. Plenty of thoughtful amenities in the room which we really appreciate. Great stay and will come again next time!

Superb hotel with direct access from JR station, and 1min walk to the tram stop and sightseeing bus stop. Staff was polite and patiently assisted and provided map on information we needed. Lovely bath salts for our use. Self service luggage deposit allowed us to continue exploring the city after checkup. Recommended stay at Kagoshima.

We loved the view from the room, Sakura Island was just in front of us and we could actually see smoke coming out of its crater which was pretty awesome. The pools were also nice and the traditional restaurant near the lobby had some great Japanese food. The service was excellent, too. The only downside was that the bus stop is a bit far and walking to it in the middle of summer isn’t pleasant. But a taxi to the main train station costs around ¥1,800 which isn’t bad.

The hotel is relatively new, with convenient location and transportation. The airport bus station is just across the street. There are many places to eat and drink around, and it is the most prosperous and lively area in Kagoshima besides the Central Station. Check-in and check-out can be done automatically by machine, which is easy to operate and more convenient than the machines in some other cities in Japan where I have stayed before. Because it is automatic, there is almost no service. Toothbrushes and other things can be taken on the second floor, and you can also mix bathing agents by yourself. The room is small, but the bed is big. It is only suitable for single occupancy. It is not recommended for two people. The room cleaning is only on the third day of consecutive stays. On other days, it is just changing towels and taking out garbage. I stayed for four consecutive nights and came in to clean it on the third day. I think there is no problem. It is more environmentally friendly and saves manpower.

The staff members were very hospitable. Check in was fast and Jeffrey gave us detailed explanation of the facilities of the hotel. He also greeted us every time he met us in the lobby. While the renovation in the room is old fashioned, it is kept clean. We were very lucky that we had good view of Sakurajima during our two days stay. Breakfast in the lobby cafe and dinner in the Japanese restaurant were good.

Except for the need to ring the doorbell and ask the counter to open the door when I wanted to leave my luggage because it was not yet the CHECK IN time, everything else went smoothly. The room was very spacious and the bed was very good to sleep on. The location was really not far from Terukuni Shrine and Shiroyama Observation Deck (at night If you want to enjoy the night view, it’s best to bring a flashlight to illuminate the road because the hiking trail is quite dark)

We love this hotel so much. The breakfast is so yummy and the bed is very comfortable too. The hot spring is superb. The view is beautiful even if rainy weather.

Best hotel choice for location. Right in the centre of Tenmonkan. Plenty of food options and shopping. Even the airport shuttle stops directly at the hotel front (50m). It is walking distance (20min) to Kagoshima-chuo JR station, but if you choose tram or bus, the stop is also 100m away from the hotel. Setback is only the bath amenities as shaving foam, face wash and lotion is not provided (make sure you bring your own). Public bath is ok, has a sauna which is good. Check-in and out process is fully machine automated with a luggage storage section too at the side. Very easy. Breakfast service staff is very good, only four breakfast set choices if you purchase it as part of your room but quality is very good with local taste. I suggest you try at least once the breakfast if you stay here.

A very good memories staying in Richmond hotel Kinseicho, the staffs are very friendly, and it is convenient that there are laundry serivce(washing machine at the hotel) and free ice cube to take at 9th floor. The room was big though for one person staying. The environment was clean and quiet, I hope next time can bring my family here to stay. For the location, temonkan is nearby and easy to walk around Kagoshima city, I walked from hotel to Kagoshima Chuo Station, very convenient

Nice brand new hotel in a good location. The room is very spacious, and the onsen is the best. You must try it. I didn't try the breakfast, so no comment on food. There is free shuttle bus service from Kagoshima Chuo to the hotel every 30 mins.

Huge bath tub within the room. Slightly bigger room than japan's average because of that but living area is smaller as a result. There is a sofa in this room but that takes up the space for luggage. Overall pretty good. Just opppsite the jr station with underground access. Sakurajima was covered by clouds when I was there.

The hotel opened in 2024. The room type is similar to that of a homestay. The room is fully equipped with microwave ovens, washing machines with drying functions, induction cookers, and pots. The biggest highlight is the 40-square-meter extra-large room, which is rare in Japan. The location is also very good, a 6-minute walk to the planetarium. In short, I am very satisfied and will choose this hotel again next time I come to Kagoshima.

It takes about 10 minutes to walk from Kagoshima Central to the hotel. The room is very spacious, bigger than the hotels I booked in Japan before. I am quite satisfied with it. It would be better if the breakfast types could be more diverse.

It's close to Tenmonkan, so transportation is very convenient. It's also nice that there is a convenience store right next door. In the morning, I was in a bit of a mess and locked my suitcase with the key inside, but the hotel staff handled it professionally and unlocked it for me, which I'm grateful for!

Tatami room, traditional Japanese style such as quilt, dokonomama ceramic decoration, long-standing Japanese life memories, hot spring baths called source water, breakfast restaurants decorated with Satsuma ceramics and pretty ceramic tableware are calmly dressed I admire the Chinese table and the hearty staff, and everything was good, especially the dinner with the sister restaurant Guwoo, and the kind host couple who treated me sincerely! There is a supermarket nearby, which I think is more convenient. The hotel and room environment is very good, and the private outdoor hot spring space in the room is also relatively large;  The only thing is that the hotel is located near the city. Although it is more convenient, it also sacrifices and lacks the landscape of . This depends on personal choice. But in general, it is considered a hotel worth staying in.

My sincerest gratitude to the professional service and helpfulness of the front desk staff in particular the Div. Manager, Mr. Atsuyoshi Kubota, who patiently search for available medical service during late hours for treating my wife's injury and also voluntarily arrange a staff to accompany us to the hospital. Ram Kumar, the accompanying staff, is instrumemental in our communication to the medical personnels and he is so kind to arrange late dinner for us at the hotel's discretion. They not only demonstrate the highest level of professionalism but also their genuine care of the well being of the customers. Once again, big big thanks to Mr. Kubota and his team of beautiful people. By the way, good breakfast and dinner, both in terms of the menu as well as service and venue.

All the hotel staff were very polite and kind. The rooms were spacious, clean, well-equipped, and well-furnished, and the beds were comfortable. Coffee beans and grinders were provided, so I was able to enjoy freshly brewed coffee in the morning. I was also able to rent a private bath twice, and although it was cold when I got out of the open-air bath, I was captivated by the beautiful garden view, and the water temperature was just right, so I was able to warm up quickly. The only disappointment was the attitude of the staff at the shop. First, there were no baskets, so when I asked for one, they said ”Please wait a moment” in a slightly irritated tone. Thankfully, a customer next to me who had just finished purchasing couldn't bear to see me and gave me his own basket. Also, there was no sign of a self-checkout, so when I was waiting for a staff member to pay, he coldly told me, ”It's a self-checkout.” This was a bit disappointing.

As soon as we got out of the car in the parking lot, a staff member greeted us and showed us around. There is also a walking course through the 100-year-old cedar forest. Dinner with a view of the forest was delicious, featuring local cuisine. After the meal, free coffee and tea was served in the lounge on the third floor, and the cedar forest from there looked great. I was thrilled when a flying squirrel flew up to the cedar tree right in front of me. The hot springs are also very large. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in is an old hot spring hotel. It is said to have been passed down from generation to generation. The Japanese-style garden design is very beautiful. The Japanese-style room we booked was very spacious and included breakfast and dinner. The hotel has its own farm and ingredients. They are all sourced from their own farms, and Wagyu beef can be delivered all over Japan. The breakfast is very exquisite, and for dinner you can enjoy Kaiseki dishes such as Wagyu beef and lobster. The dining service in the room is very good, and you can also choose to eat in the restaurant. The hotel service is very good, providing daily pick-up and drop-off services to the airport, Hayato Station, and Kokubu Station. The hotel staff will proactively ask if you need to make a reservation for pick-up every day, and provide one-on-one pick-up with high-end vehicles. There is free freshly ground coffee in the lobby and free minibars in the rooms. There is a private bath in the room, which can be used indoors or outdoors. The free public bath has three outdoor hot spring pools and one large indoor hot spring pool. The hot spring water is so hot that you will sweat after soaking in it for a while. It is a rare carbonated spring in Japan. Opposite the hotel is a large supermarket with a variety of Kagoshima specialties and fresh ingredients, as well as a convenience store. There is a young lady who can speak Chinese. The whole experience was very good, will definitely come again!

It feels like a high-end hot spring hotel. The large open-air bath and Norikiri hot spring bath are both beautiful. The room is very comfortable. The scenery near the hotel is also beautiful. The staff is very friendly and allowed us to check in a few minutes in advance. We also returned the money when we left. He drove us to the bus station and it was a very satisfying trip to the hot spring hotel. The only drawback is that there is a long downhill slope from the bus station to the hotel. It is difficult to walk down with luggage. If you drive by yourself, there will be no problem.

Typical Japanese-style room, beautiful view outside the window. The camellia in the hotel is in full bloom. Akamatsuyu is great. I saw it twice during my stay at the hotel. It was a pleasant surprise. It was snowing, and it was wonderful to soak in the hot spring in the snow. The meal was also good. The dinners were different for two nights, which was considered for the guests. The hotel has its own hiking root, and you can see the waterfall when you walk over. The overall feeling is great.

The house is clean and tidy, located opposite Yamada House, there is a bus stop outside the door, and the convenience store is a 10-minute walk away. Front desk service is attentive.

great place to stay in Ibusuki!, It's a big resort with onsen, large public bath area, swimming pool, and many restaurants. the hotel staff is very nice, there are a few cantonese speaking staff in the hotel, who are extremely helpful! the hotel sandbath needs an extra pay, but it's worth the convenience. recommended for family for a relaxing trip

I first chose this hot spring hotel because it was close to the Sand Sand Hall so I could try Ibusuki's famous black sand bath. But it turns out that this hotel is also quite comfortable. The room has a stunning view of the entire beach and sea, which is refreshing and the private bath is very convenient. 1 bed, 2 meals, delicious, fresh and seasonal food, making the journey more enjoyable

The room size is not large, just stayed for 3 people, the room has no bathroom, there is a large bath on the 5th floor, and there is an open-air hot spring on the 1st floor. As a hot spring hotel, the equipment is relatively general, the sea view is good and beautiful, and the dinner is better, but the service is average. I went to ask the jr and bus in the center of Kagoshima the next day. The front desk was not clear. I checked them and told them that I would take us to the bus stop. The whole service was warm, but the news was not complete. Compared with the Wudao Hot Spring, the service is not meticulous.

This hotel is right by the sea, and you must take a taxi after you get off the Ishisu station. Insufficient: Although the hotel is very large, it is a bit old. It is estimated that the sea breeze has been blowing. The overall feeling is a bit deserted; Advantages: There is a tour bus at the door, you can take the tour bus directly at the entrance of the hotel to Nagasaki Nose. You should pay attention to the time of the tour bus, which runs every 2 hours. It is very troublesome to miss. Surprise: We bought a sea view room, so it was really nice to get up in the morning and see the view of the sea. Then again with spit, such a beautiful sea, why discharge nuclear·wu water? The sea view is really beautiful, Nagasaki nose photo is beautiful!

At the end of 2017, I was in Kagoshima for the penultimate New Year's Eve. I stayed at the Ishisu Phoenix Hotel for one night and felt very comfortable. I reappeared again a few years later. The appearance and facilities of the hotel have experienced wind and frost, a bit old, but the hotel's service is still thoughtful and intimate. The whole family likes the hot sand bath and hot springs here. The dinner for one berth and two meals is ordinary Japanese cuisine and tastes good. I hope I have the opportunity to come to the Phoenix Resort next time.

The cleaning lady suddenly opened the door with a key and came in to make a blanket for me while I was still in the room, which scared me. (Japanese inn service habits?) The location of the hotel is a bit remote, it takes 10 minutes to get off the bus from the bus station. The facilities and cleanliness of the hotel are acceptable, and the dinner is quite rich. The only thing is that the front desk swapped my double room with my friend's single room. I had to negotiate many times to get an extra set of towels and bathrobes, which is a point deduction.
