Hyatt Place Melbourne Essendon Fields

Melbourne Airport
This hotel has the worst service of any Hyatt I have ever stayed at. The overall staff was absent-minded, and no one ever answered the front desk phone or room service. Several times we had to run downstairs to communicate with the front desk. There are no bathrobes in the hotel, which is the first time I have encountered this.
InterContinental Melbourne The Rialto

Melbourne Central Business District
The location is very good. It is only 10 minutes walk from Southern Cross. Skybus goes directly to the airport. The street in the middle of the ancient building is very beautiful. The breakfast is also good. The facilities are a little old, but the maintenance is OK. The area is also large enough.
Crowne Plaza Melbourne, an IHG Hotel

Melbourne Central Business District
Unfortunately the hotel was in the middle of a construction site when we visited which made getting in and out by foot a little challenging at first. Staff are great and the facilities are also top notch.
Ibis Budget - Melbourne CBD

Surprisingly it was good, I’m not expecting anything coz it’s a budget hotel, but still it was beyond my expectations. I was putting requests with double bed and ended up getting a twin bed which is fine coz I’m alone by myself and actually I don’t mind either double bed or twin bed. The receptionist told me they don’t have double bed room and change it to twin bed. I said to them I’m totally fine with that and they gave me late check out as a compliment and I’m super happy coz I really need the late check out😬
Brady Hotels Central Melbourne

Very small room for what it was worth, but decent stay otherwise with great communication from hotel staff prior to stay. Arriving in Melbourne on a red-eyed flight meant that we needed a room to rest prior to standard check-in times. Both email and phone communication with staff prior to my stay was fantastic, and very accommodating. The room itself could've been better with more space to move around. I also wasn't too big of a fan of the small bathroom sink and half-glass shower (which made water escape really easily onto the bathmat and tiles). I would've liked the city view room lookout, but construction next to the hotel and an earlier check-in time meant this request couldn't be accommodated, which was fine by all means. I was just thankful the hotel could give me a quiet room on the third floor, and away from the noise of the construction. Otherwise, a decent stay and very centrally located to Melbourne Central and eateries.
Hotel Grand Chancellor Melbourne

Melbourne Central Business District
This hotel is like a maze. You need someone to lead you to the room. I have to say that the location is excellent. There is an Indian guy at the front desk who is very enthusiastic. The transportation is really convenient. It is very convenient to go to attractions and buy things.
Hotel Sophia

It's terrible. If you have nothing to do, don't book this hotel. I booked it because it has family rooms, but it's old. The big bed is just two small beds put together. After staying for a few days, either the light is broken or the toilet can't flush. Finally, I wanted to take a slightly larger luggage to the room to pack it up. They said they would take it out and throw it away after packing it up, but it didn't work. They also didn't pack it up on the first floor of the hotel. The attitude is super bad and they said they would call the security. Invincible👌There is only one front desk staff who can speak Chinese and one female staff member. We can communicate naturally and fluently, but according to observation, it is difficult to meet them. However, the location is not remote. It is convenient to walk to eat and so on. Check-in requires a foreign bank card. Nothing else.
Quality Hotel Taylors Lakes
4.3/5106 Reviews
The hotel environment is great, a buffet breakfast of 20 knives can be bought, and the taste is good. The hotel is a single building with a lot of entertainment venues, about 15 minutes away from the Melbourne Hotel. It's easier to find.
Mercure Melbourne Caroline Springs

Nice hotel, good location, very convenient to go out, the room is clean. The overall service of the hotel is OK, but the price is not very cheap. Overall good. Recommended.
Sage Melbourne Ringwood

The hotel's location is right in the ringwood eastland shopping center, and the waiters inside are very polite. Other room facilities are also very good. For business trips and outings, this hotel is very cost-effective. recommend
