A beautiful place. The bad thing is that you need a bike or taxi to move. Beautiful and modern rooms. Great views. Fermi and John very friendly and friendly
Clean basic room. Breakfast were ok. Location was good . Just a bad experience for me when I was stuck in the lift for like 15mins and when I came out from nobody even attend to me other that the person who reset through the speaker inside the lift. It’s like a normal thing to them . Get the manager involved and they apologised . There is no fridge for my room. Probably can find a better hotel with this price and this star rating for better service and well maintained facilities with less stress.
surprisingly comfortable for the price we paid. staff are friendly and very accomodoting. also plus plus points for the management for allowing early check in when possible!
Overall a nice place to stay. Comfy beds and linen with clean rooms. Quiet bay nice beach front a bit out of town. Staff and service was very good.
Negatives / Improvements:
Rooms:
No bedside lamp or power points near bed. I had to ask for an extension lead and this was only 1.5m long and had to be laid across the floor.
When using the balcony to relax you need to prop the door from closing or get locked out and removing E-Key the power goes off almost instantly. Cannot turn off interior lights from the bedside and cannot turn off the outside light at all.
Hot water is not hot.
Restaurant: Large selection of indonesian style food for breakfast but no eggs unless you ask. Cereal, fruit and danish pastries are average.
No barista style coffee. Tiny cups.
Our stay at this hotel was exceptional! The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The hot shower had excellent water pressure, making for a truly refreshing experience. The balcony offered a stunning view, adding to the overall charm of the room. Speaking of which, the room itself was impressively spacious, providing plenty of room to relax.
There is a free airport pick-up service. It takes about 20 minutes to drive there. The environment is nice, and there is a very large chessboard next to the swimming pool. The kids played chess with the huge chess pieces as soon as they arrived. The service attitude is very good. When checking in, I asked directly if there were any arrangements for a one-day tour to Komodo. After comparing the products of the six one-day tour attractions that I had already put in the Taobao shopping cart, I decisively chose to report to the hotel. The experience was indeed very good. The pick-up was half an hour later than Taobao. There were fewer people. There are no restaurants around, and they are all solved by the hotel. Including juice, tax and service fee, 100 per person. The beach is just a few steps away. It's so beautiful to watch the stars at night, and you can see the sky full of stars with your naked eyes. It's just that the room is old and feels a bit like a guesthouse in the 1990s. The sunrise here is also super beautiful
My stay at the Aston Hotel was excellent. The room was immaculate with a wonderful sea view. The amenities the hotel offers were to my liking. Most of all I was impressed by the friendliness of all the staff in the breakfast restaurant, at the reception, the driver with a special mention for doorman Pak Ronaldo.
The hotel is new and modern. We were only there for 1 day, so we chose convenient transport connections, only 900 m from the port or 7 min by taxi to the airport. There is a supermarket, pharmacy and ATM on the first floor.
The breakfast was tasty and varied, Asian and European cuisine, lots of pastries. But most important, the restaurant offers a wonderful view of the sea.
There was no hairdryer in the room, but upon request they brought it immediately. Very friendly staff, especially Elsa at the reception. She recommended us where to spend half a day before our plane, and always helped us with a taxi. For some reason, the Grab taxi service does not work on this island.
It is a pity that there are no normal beaches near the hotel. Public beach is absolutely dirty. It was quite far to go to the private one, we had limited time.
Taxi to the airport costs 75000
Taxi to the Mirror Caves 100000
Taxi to the private beach 150000
The hotel is comfortable, clean, friendly service, good breakfast, but there are still problems with rooms such as a blocked sink, the toilet is on the 3rd floor new but it is disgusting yellow like never brushed. This hotel needs vixal/porstek/harpic and something Because it's a pity that the interior of the hotel is good but not taken care of
Lelewatu is an example of understated luxury in Sumba Island, which is much off the beaten track compared to other parts of Indonesia. The staff is very attentive but low key at the same time. The restaurant is great, especially on local choices. The villas are spacious with really high ceilings, a great pool and plenty of privacy. Will miss sleeping at the sound of the waves.

AAnonymous UserWe booked 2 nights, the rate on promotion is quite competitive. Spacious room with balcony. Breakfast is good, just be careful of the birds, they come to eat your food when you are away. The restaurant serves good meals, we had our both dinners at the restaurant. Price is okay too. The location of the resort is a bit far to city center. Hotel can arrange hotel taxi but pricy. Or if you have local hire contact they can help you to call. There are free daily activities in the hotel like yoga, boreh making, etc. Nice to participate. They also have day trip to 3-4 places including Komodo island but price is at high end. They have hourly schedule free transportation to airport, which is 12 mins drive.

AAnonymous UserLovely staff and great hospitality, they offered welcome drinks and wet towels. Space is ample but we had some difficulty locating the elevators without staff assistance. During breakfast we were asked for our general feedback of the hotel as well - they probably take any suggestions quite seriously. Large selection of food accompanied with the harbour view.
The lobby is an open space concept which was beautiful. Room was sufficiently clean and thankfully still looked new. Only gripe is the nearby mosque will start prayers around dawn and it lasts for 10 minutes or so - it’s loud enough to jolt you awake.
Gets really busy and crowded on weekends.
Overall a comfortable stay for the price point.
GGuest UserThe room has reasonable facilities and is of a decent size. But the AC won't work after you pull out key card, making it extremely humid and hot. All bedding has some sort of stains on it, and after replacement of a new set they change another dirty set in the following day. But staffs are lovely.

BBudi Hao LinI recently stayed at the hotel and had a mixed experience. The room was spacious and clean. The view from the window overlooking the beach or harbour is blocked by other building. However, you can patronise the rooftop bar to have unblocked view to the beach or harbour. It’s particularly good to view the sunset.
The in-room amenities were adequate, but I found it is lack of toiletries such as toothbrush, comb, shaver. Overall, while the location and room size were positive aspects, there were some areas where the hotel could improve.
DDaisyArielThe room is clean and good for a nights rest. The restaurant overlooking the sea was heavenly. Food is good. Location is fantastic with lots of shops nearby. There is also a supermarket opp to stock up before we got on a boat. The only weird thing is the toilet lock is from the outside.
No lift only stairs. They assisted us with our luggages.
