Choose LOTTE rent a car car rentals in Jeju

Our flight was delayed for over an hour, and we couldn't contact them to let them know. They still kept the car we had originally chosen. ☺️ The car was new and clean. It could fit four large pieces of luggage. It was very convenient to return and pick up the car.

The car interior was spotless, and the exterior had virtually no scratches. The interior was very comfortable, Apple CarPlay connectivity was convenient, and driving was effortless. Returning the car required no inspection; I simply got out, handed it over, took my luggage, and left. A fantastic experience.

The ladies at Rakuten Car Rental were rather impatient and spoke quickly. They weren't impolite, but you could sense a lack of enthusiasm for service. They didn't even mention what kind of fuel to use. On the second day, we encountered a nail in the tire, but they handled it quickly and replaced the car. Overall, the service was okay, but I think they could be more attentive and considerate when serving foreigners.

I always trust Lotte Rent-a-Car, so my trip to Jeju Island was a breeze. The rental and return process was easy, and the vehicles were clean.

Super efficient and fast pickup and drop-off system despite the large number of rentals they constantly manage. The car was perfect.

The pick up and drop off process is easy and the checkin counter staff speak good English and are friendly. You pay a premium for Lotte rental because of the service, but I think it's worth the peace of mind. However, the condition of the car left much more to be expected. It has visible damage on both sides of the car. You would think paying more would give you a car in better condition. During our 5 days in Jeju, we also observed cars from other rental companies were in better condition. Might have been just our luck. We got a Hyundia Avante, which had a big boot and could fit 2 full site suitcases.

Generally good, but I might try a different one next time.

This was my first time driving in South Korea, so I purchased full insurance. Picking up and returning the car was very convenient and quick. One slight disappointment was that I originally wanted to experience the KIA Seltos, but they offered a Hyundai Kona instead.
