I had a very disappointing experience when I picked up my rental car at Detroit airport. When I arrived at the counter, the staff member insisted that I pay additional charges that were not part of my original booking. After I indicated disapproval of the overcharge, the staff member became visibly angry, walked away from the counter, and left me without any assistance. As a result, I had to wait for more than an hour before another employee finally helped me complete the pickup process.
I want to make it clear that my complaint is only about the first staff member. The second employee who eventually assisted me was courteous, professional, and very helpful. She handled my rental efficiently and helped resolve the situation, and I sincerely appreciate her assistance. This is the reason why I rated "ease of pick-up" full mark. My concern is with the unprofessional behavior of the first staff member. I hope Trip.com will bring this matter to the attention of the rental company.

This car rental experience was comfortable and convenient. I was satisfied with the ease and efficiency of the pick-up process. The shuttle from the airport terminal was quick, eliminating the need to wait at the counter, and the valet service that dropped my car off at the door was also very convenient. The car was in excellent condition and operated very well. The return location was also efficient; all I had to do was park and return the keys. Overall, the customer service experience was positive.
