高古軒欣然宣佈於2025年3月25日在香港為莎拉‧施舉行亞洲首場個展，也是她於畫廊舉行的第六場個展，屆時將會展出全新的大型混合媒介畫作，以及一系列全新的懸掛雕塑。 在最近的展覽中，莎拉‧施探索人類如何在充斥於當代生活的無數圖像中尋找意義。她的新作結合雀鳥、狼、手和夕陽等視覺語言元素，隨著這些圖像在不同媒介中重複出現，自由地穿梭於畫作和雕塑之間，因而突破平面與立體的界限。藝術家透過這種圖像呼應，促使觀賞者思考時間、記憶與感知的概念。 在這次展覽中，莎拉‧施繼續探究她將繪畫視為圖像創作系統的獨特手法。她運用一種兼具遞歸性與生成性的方式，以過往作品的元素作為起點，將姿勢筆觸、彩色膠帶、印有圖像的紙碎及其他素材層層重疊，模糊數碼與模擬、實體與無形的界線。在拼貼作品《激流》（Rip Tide，2025年作）中，一隻小鳥飛越一大片鮮豔奪目的粉紅色、橙色和金色，與朝著畫作上方飛翔的鳥群互相呼應。藝術家的獨特構圖技巧使反覆出現的圖像若隱若現、變幻消弭，像記憶一樣一直處於變化的狀態。 莎拉‧施的畫作結構巧妙結合日本傳統版畫、中國捲軸畫和西方風景畫，令觀賞者化身旅客縱橫構圖之中。在《雙倍速》（Double Speed，2025年作）中，一頭小鹿駐足於畫面底部，上方營造出遼闊的垂直空間感，而從底部斜線延伸的樹枝則將畫面推前，營造出一種極富深度的視覺效果。她一直深受藝術史上的各種透視和景深感知技巧啟發，從而在作品中不斷探索平面與立體空間之間的關係。 莎拉‧施的畫作構圖緊密，令人有身臨其境之感，而《破裂圖像》(Fractured Image)系列的懸掛式雕塑則呈現相對失重的感覺，懸掛半空的顏料版畫碎片組合出不完整的效果，與畫作形成鮮明對比。每幅懸浮圖像彷彿也處於不確定的瞬間，觀賞者無法分辨這種微妙張力正在互相牽引或抗衡。作品猶如散佈展廳各處的圖像群島，紙碎的水平畫面碎片與垂吊銀鏈的垂直結構交錯。這些短暫的組合和佈局劃分每個元素各自的空間，並與畫廊窗外的維港景致巧妙融和。 在綜合的跨領域作品中，莎拉‧施借用真實和數碼世界的元素，創作精巧複雜的雕塑、繪畫、素描、版畫、錄像和藝術裝置，藉此探索物質性的多變性質和時間隱晦不明的特質。

We'll spend the morning working on clairty of mime and how defining space can add many layers to you improv. Then in the afternoon we'll focus on ways to open and close your scenes. Classes often focus on the scene contents, in this class we'll work only on how to get going and draw your audience in, and how to find the right moments to close your scenes.
