Family Friendly Hotels in Chongqing, China

The experience of this stay was really beyond expectations! From the moment I stepped into the homestay, I felt the warm reception of the staff. The boss's service attitude is super good, which makes people feel the warmth of home instantly. Maybe it was just after the festival when we went there, and there were fewer people, so the boss upgraded the room type. The room design is simple and generous, and the hygiene details are very good! The bedding is soft and comfortable, there is no odor at all, and even the corners are spotless. I especially like the view outside the window, and the morning sun shines in, which is particularly healing. The facilities are also very considerate, with air conditioning, WiFi, and toiletries. The location is also OK, you can walk to the surrounding restaurants, with rich choices, and you can take a walk in the evening to feel the local life. The boss's breakfast is also delicious, and such a careful management must be praised! Whether it is a business trip or a leisure vacation, this is an excellent choice. I will definitely recommend it to my friends and look forward to seeing you next time!

Superb location and value for money. Level 1 is a short walk to Hongyadong, while level 2 connects you to Jiefangbei. We booked the family room because the price was very reasonable, and we were not disappointed. The hotel staff was also very friendly and helpful! The only thing they could improve on is their breakfast selection. For a hotel that will receive international travellers, they could have included other choices of meat instead of pork throughout. Other than that, we had an excellent stay and would recommend the hotel! 地理位置优越，物超所值。从一楼步行即可到达洪崖洞，二楼则可直达解放碑。我们预订了家庭房，因为价格非常合理，而且没有让我们失望。酒店员工也非常友好热情！唯一需要改进的地方是早餐的选择。对于一家接待国际旅客的酒店来说，他们本可以在整个酒店中提供其他肉类选择，而不是猪肉。除此之外，我们的住宿体验非常棒，强烈推荐这家酒店！

Excellent customer service. We had issues with being unable to connect to the internet. 隆碎霞 helped us diligently to get the issue resolved. She provided different options to resolve the issue and was constantly in contact with us back and forth during the ordeal. She is truly an asset to the company. I also ran into her in the laundry area and she patiently explained things to me using the translator. The hotel has amazing views high above all the other buildings. The breakfast buffet has a large selection. Had pretty much everything except English tea bags. Which was actually available in the room, but not in the buffet. I was too lazy to go to the room to get it. Other than that, it has a superb variety, including Chinese and Western options. Afternoon tea had very sparse options. Some sweets, and fruit. Nothing to rave about, but appreciative to have. Room interior are spacious and well equipped. Personally I find it lacking quality finishes worthy of a 5 star hotel, but that is my personal preference. Especially having stayed at the JW next door the previous night. Beds are comfortable. There was a cute little tea pot set. Washroom can be an issue depending on the room type. First room, the washroom was enclosed with a shower, toilet and sink in the same room, separated by a dark frosted glass door. Second room, toilet and shower are in separate stalls with the sink on the outside. But, the glass partitions are opaque with no additional door separating the washroom area. This can be an issue sharing a room with friends and family. Also can be quite noisy if your partner is trying to sleep in while you're using the bathroom area. There are many spaces on the 57th floor for lounging and meeting up with friends. The design is modern, big and spacious. Signage to the hotel in the lobby is non existent. You have to take an elevator to the 44th floor. Then round the corner where you will see the signage for Pagoda. Staff will then ready a lift for you to the 57th floor for check in. This is my first time in a hotel with this kind of elevator set up. It is a bit troublesome to transfer elevators. But then it feels very private and exclusive when the elevator is dedicated only to us. Plus I feel it's actually faster without having to stop on the different floors to pick up other guests. Location is very ideal. Walkable to Hongya caves. Many shops and eateries near by. Pagoda is an excellent choice when visiting Chongqing.

The hotel is located in the Jiefangbei area, which is very convenient for shopping and sightseeing. The room was spacious enough for three people, with no smell of smoke. The staff were very helpful—even though we don’t speak Chinese, we were able to communicate just fine through WeChat. One thing I would have liked is more mirrors in the room. Overall, I recommend staying at Meirui Hotel (Chongqing Jiefangbei Hongyadong).

Hotel in good location, choices of foods are available. Room design with smart devices and love the room design. Reception staff 摇摇 is very helpful and friendly. She even assist us to book for local travel trip and offer all arrangement in her own times. She is worth to recognise with her work passion Downside - hotel entrance doesn't have proper walkway for luggage, quite difficult to move the luggage up to lobby and lifts. Needed improvement.

The hotel looks really great inside. It was a little harder to find since the lobby is on the 18th floor, and I haven't seen any sign downstairs, but otherwise great! And see the view from my window 😍 They even sent a forgotten item to me to a different city, so thank you, Xiaowang 😊

The weather in Chongqing is good. The hotel is very close to where I am on a business trip. The hotel service staff are very enthusiastic. The hotel configuration of Howard Johnson Group is very good. They are all fully intelligent devices. Xiaodu is used for making calls. No need to do it manually. Just call Xiaodu. It is convenient and easy. The dining environment is good. It is worth recommending.

The best minsu I’ve stayed. Room is really spacious, very nice furnishings and all amenities provided. Very clean and well-maintained. Location is away from main town which we like because it’s so serene and peaceful. Can order takeaway so not an issue. Staff are so friendly and hospitable, requests made through WeChat & responded quickly. Breakfast is home-style food cooked by a friendly auntie, very homely yummy food which we love. Would recommend this minsu especially for families.

This hotel is good for families travel, breakfast is good , room is good , especially the staff at the counter her name is Vivi. She is very friendly and helpful. Overall the hotel is up the level of 4 star rated hotel.

The hotel facilities are great, with floor heating and clean. The scenery is also good, and the mountain view rooms can see the green trees. The location of the hotel is average, about 20 minutes' drive from Fairy Town. Went during the National Day, so there wasn’t much traffic. The service is very good.
