Family-friendly Hotels in Guangdong, China

Hotel and rooms are relatively new, conveniently located at Beijing Road. It’s very near to the metro and the walking street has a lot of food options. Teemall is just bedside, which is very convenient. Staff are friendly and helped with TB parcel collection. Initially, we got a room with strong cig smell despite being a non smoking room. But they managed to resolve it by changing the room within 15 mins. Got a larger room after the change. Staff were also very apologetic after this issue. Definitely will recommend this hotel for its service and location.

Great hotel to stay at when visiting any of the Chimelong parks. Direct access to the Spaceship park from the lower lobby. Frequent free shuttle busses to travel to the other parks and the theatre. Nice options for casual dining in the food street located on the lower lobby with direct access from the hotel after 8 pm. For earlier access to food street need to enter directly from the Spaceship park circular lobby just after the ticket check. Recommend to book a package with accommodation and park entrance. Also recommend to see the circus show whilst visiting, it's a definite highlight.

All the staff were good at speaking English and very friendly especially Brown! He kindly informed us all the detailed information during check in, and the room was clean, neat and tidy. Location is also perfect as it is right next to a shopping mall. I'll come back here for sure

Great convenient location near the SZ Exhibition center. Love the modern and sleek interiors as well. Clean and homey feel. Gyms also have solo rooms for treadmills which is a unique touch for travelers privacy. Cool there’s free food buffet also at night with a coupon from 930-1030pm.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel as a family. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the amenities provided made our stay even more enjoyable. The location was perfect for exploring the local attractions. Highly recommend for families looking for a pleasant and relaxing stay!

We were told our room was upgraded upon arrival. The river view room was good. My kid was also given a toy upon check in. However, a condom package was found under bed. This is very disgusting and unacceptable. We came with a group of friends with kids. We got a complaint from room one level down. To our disbelief, the staff allowed the guests down one level to come to our floor and room to confront us directly. This is unprofessional and shocking and made us feel very offended. We tried to talk to the front desk regarding this and they said they would have their manager to come to talk to us. It turned out they didn’t send anyone at all.

We live in Shenzhen and decided to have a staycation at St.Regis during ChingMing holiday. We wanted a specific view with a bathtub next to the window, and the lady at the front desk (sorry, I forgot the name) helped us meet our request by upgrading our room. The view was fantastic!!! We tried the swimming pool, gym - all good. Breakfast was good with a variety of both Chinese and western food (come early to avoid crowds). Thank you, Blank Xia for the smooth check out process and the service. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend St.Regis for fantastic views, good service and great location!

Hotel was really good but package provided at trip.com is not as good as package available on klook. Book on klook to save money

Perfectly located for exploring Guangzhou! We're just a 10-minute walk to Beijing Pedestrian Street, and the metro is conveniently right across the road. You'll love the easy access to popular shopping spots like Dongshankou, Tianhe CBD, APM clothing mall, Shisanhang Wholesale Market, Yide Lu, Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, and Yongqingfang, etc. Our room was newly renovated with a stunning city view. The stay was clean and cozy. A highlight was the buffet on the 39th floor, offering breathtaking views of the Pearl River. While the food was decent, the options were a bit limited, with the same selection available during our 4-day stay. Great news for gym enthusiasts! You can access the public gym located on the 7th floor, perfect for staying active during your stay!

This hotel has a lot going for it.....especially all the caramel marble and the incredible design.the front desk was expert-level in English and the lobby is gorgeous. I was happy to receive a room upgrade that looks toward Lowu Checkpoint. However, the F+B was all substandard. We had to wait 20 min after ordering gin + tonic in 360. Why? We did not get a warm welcome in 360 after identifying ourselves as guest as the hotel. Why? The service in the lobby lounge is so slow it is mind-blowing. The final insult: ***** hair was found in the tub (before I bathed). But this hotel has tremendous potential even with no major architectural changes. Just as it is ..total icon. They should cherish and promote this hotel. Think of some fun promotions and change the carpets. Stop acting like it is on some kind of death march. No 5 star is this close to the border. Nowhere. And no 5 star had this kind of view. They need to level up!

Very new hotel and they provided me with free upgrade to a bigger room. Very very thoughtful services, it’s conveniently above a mrt station. It has kids amenities too. A pity that I didn’t get to stay in the theme room with slides. Will be back again next time!:)

A very nice hotel to stay. The receptionists for night shift I met during my stay were friendly and I got my room free upgraded! Highly recommend this hotel. About 10mins walk to the nearest metro station. About 3mins walk to the nearest bus station. Very convenient. 办理入住时已经是晚上6点多，前台服务很好还提醒我订的房没窗户，前台还免费升级了我的房型让我欣赏了深圳夜景，太感谢了！入住期间晚上的前台服务人员都很好，推荐悦得闲餐厅的早茶也好好吃！

Hotel is conveniently located next to subway station. Location is close to border with Hong Kong. We were greeted by Simo Deng upon check in. She was courteous and warm. Her explanation about the check in process was clear such as the facilities and restaurants. Hotel is decorated well. We stayed at the executive suite. It was clean and furniture was kept in good condition. Simo Deng also provided fruit basket . It was very thoughtful and good service from her. We will return to Sheraton Futian in the future .

Location is super convenient being on top of the subway station. Breakfast were great with good variety of Chinese and Western foods. The front desk manager Derik and his team were extremely professional, helpful and friendly. I dropped my cell phone in the way to breakfast. The staff picked it up and I reclaimed the cell phone within 30 minutes. Really appreciate the efficiency. The gym located in the mid floors are quite nicely equipped. Very convenient for a workout before bed. Though the charging ports located at Basement Car Park are slow. Charging speed was only 3KW rather than the usual 6.3 KW. EV users need to bear this in mind and need to locate alternative quick charging stations as fall back measure. Overall experience is very good.

Ideal location with a short 15 min walk to either 2 stations. Convenient as there are nearby restaurants s well as a short walk to Mixc shopping centre. Already considering to go there again in December but the reservations are only open 3 months in advance.

Stayed here for New Year’s Eve and the check in lobby is up on some floor of a building. The room was quite large and a nice shower. They gave me a room with a huge projector instead of a normal tv. The bed was comfortable too. The room is big enough to keep all your skiing equipment inside. Will stay again in the future.

I had an incredible stay at Chimelong Hotel, and it truly exceeded all of my expectations. This resort has everything you could possibly need for a memorable and stress-free vacation. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the welcoming and friendly staff who made check-in a breeze and set the tone for the rest of my stay. The lobby area is warm and inviting, creating a great first impression. The hotel itself is perfectly designed with comfort and convenience in mind. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, offering a wide variety of options to start the day off right. One of the standout features was the free shuttle bus service from the nearby Subway station to the hotel. It made getting around incredibly easy and saved a lot of time. The resort also offers plenty of entertainment, including a fun kids' play area and the amazing Animal Island right outside the hotel. It’s perfect for families with children or anyone who enjoys getting close to nature. I can’t recommend the Chimelong International Circus enough, it’s a must see! The show was absolutely spectacular, with thrilling performances and a vibrant atmosphere that had everyone on the edge of their seats. Overall, Chimelong Hotel is the perfect place for both relaxation and adventure. The blend of excellent service, great amenities, and exciting attractions made for an unforgettable stay. I will definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a family friendly getaway!

The hotel is located close to the shopping mall and there are many playgrounds nearby. Very convenient. It is clean and tidy, with big room.

An excellent location with Beijing Ped street just opposite that you can find lots of eateries and snacks to buy back. I had very good sleep with comfortable bed/pillow but have requested for a room that was NOT located along the main road with lots of vehicle horning at every second but facing Uniqlo/陶陶居。easy to flag down taxi (run by meter) or book DIDI. From airport is about 40 mins. Some improvements: 1. Need a magnifying glass in bathroom as the mirror was far apart by the sink wide width, can't see by the elderly. 2. Room door lock needs to be reviewed as it required a hard push-in to avoid beeping sound. 3. Super noisy and powerful flush that was unnecessary and started flushing upon sitting down 4. Need a full length mirror in the room

The hotel is located perfectly if you want to visit Sunac ski park, which we wanted to do. But it is very far from Guangzhou centre, an hour with a taxi. The breakfast buffet was great with both western and chinese options.

Decent hotel. Location-wise, It’s within walking distance (20 minute walk) to Vanke Square/the Chinese Opera Museum/Bruce Lee’s home which is a must-see area when in Guangzhou so that’s nice. In the area right outside the hotel, you will see nice European style buildings from back in the 1900s which is also another sightseeing item in Guangzhou. So its a convenient place to hit several tourists spots.   As for the hotel itself, it’s as-expected of a higher level hotel and for the price charged. Nothing impressive in my opinion.  Living in this hotel is more about experiencing history, experiencing this hotel that is the pride of Guangzhou back in the days.

Perfect for short period of transit in Guangzhou, close to the airport, hotel provide free shuttle with in advance reservation, clean and cost effective, good service at the front desk and a really polite, helpful and friendly driver who drove me to the airport in the middle of the night, definitely will stay again in the future

We stayed in the Prince Family themed room and everything was great! The customer service at the Panda Hotel is great! They installed a guardrail for the little one immediately upon request. There were 2 bath towels in the bathroom, but we were 4 people. Upon calling the front desk, they immediately provided additional amenities and even extra water bottles. Upon check in, the associate at the desk told us that the breakfast buffet is open daily from 7AM to 11AM, however when we got there at 10AM, the buffet was in the middle of being closed. This was upsetting as the kids had just sat down to eat and all the buffet items were removed. The sign outside the restaurant also listed the breakfast end time to be 11AM. We went to the front desk and complained right away, to which the manager apologized and told us that there was a misunderstanding and that the end time is actually 10AM. She offered a discount on the dinner buffet and a VIP shuttle to the Safari Park, which was not bad. Overall, it was a great trip and the kids enjoyed and did not want to leave. The little details of everything being catered towards children is what really made the difference. From the drinking cups, to the dental kits, to the bathrobes and slippers to the baby toilet seat on all the hotel toilets. We will definitely come back to the hotel in the future.

Location is so convenient, just 2 minutes walk from Gongbei port. Many eateries nearby. Rooms are big and spacious with good view. Many amenities provided. Excellent service by reception Ms Chen Xinyi for being so patience and kind to explain interesting tourist spot. This has save us a lot of time and effort to look for it. The house keeper too was very quick to respond to our call.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sheraton Hotel, and I must say, my experience was elevated thanks to two remarkable employees – Jane and Lena. Upon my arrival, Jane welcomed me with a warm smile and professionalism that instantly made me feel at home. To my surprise and delight, she informed me that I had been upgraded to a sea-view room! This thoughtful gesture significantly enhanced my stay. Lena also provided outstanding service throughout my visit. Her attentiveness and friendly attitude made a lasting impression. She was always ready to assist with any of my needs, ensuring that my experience was nothing short of exceptional. I am truly grateful for the efforts of Jane and Lena, which showcased the Sheraton's commitment to providing top-notch service. I highly recommend this hotel, not just for its amenities but for the incredible staff like Jane and Lena who make all the difference!

Marriott Hotel has always been one of our favorite brands, known for its comfort and reliability. This time, we chose it to celebrate a birthday. They acknowledged my request for room decorations via WeChat, but unfortunately, they overlooked the flower delivery. When we checked in, the flowers were still sitting at the concierge, despite my earlier message—it was quite disappointing to see. On a positive note, we appreciated the room upgrade for the birthday occasion. However, the receptionist at night mistakenly mixed up our room key cards with those of another group of friends, which somewhat spoiled the surprise. The room itself was spacious, and we loved the bathtub, although the air conditioning could have been cooler. Overall, while there were some hiccups, we still enjoyed our stay and the special celebration.

We stayed in this hotel on our way back to Guangxi from Macau. The room was a nice size. Bed was fine. Shower and toilet were very good. Amenities were fine. The Wi-Fi was good. The breakfast was outstanding. It’s about a 15 minute walk from the Zhuhai train station.

Over the top service with this exceptional staff at reception Aurora! I booked 2 rooms (a 2 bedroom suite and a one king family room). We were able to check into our 2 bedroom suite at 11am and Ms Aurora explained that our second room will be available in about an hour. She even gave us her WeChat and informed us when our room was ready. We needed to book shuttle bus from hotel to Chimelong for 11 people and she helped us over WeChat as well. Thank you Aurora, we will definitely come back again!
