Family-friendly Hotels in Guizhou, China

Amazing This hotel is a real gem,  a modern efficient and comfortable hotel right near the speed train station. The location is excellent. We stayed three nights. U Checking in was easy, and the staff were genuinely happy to help and answer questions about services.  The room was of excellent quality,  and very clean,  beds comfortable. A robot delivered a complimentary fruit platter shortly after reaching the room. Highly recommend the breakfast option. It was varied and a good mix of Chinese and Western options.  Staff are very helpful, friendly, and courteous in all of the various roles. Special mention to Xuanxin and  Xiangya on the front desk who provided 5 star service and went out of their way to assist. Hotel management is clearly interested in making guests' experiences at the hotel great  After 8 days of travel we really needed to attend to our laundry. Again, a staff member assisted in loading 3 of the 4 washer/dryers with our clothes. The result was excellent, albeit allow some time for heavy items such as denim jeans as they are not fast commercial machines. My partner helped with the language issues however most critical items have English text or cards that an app can easily translate. Staff will aso take the time to assist. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel as a top choice for service, value and quality.

The room is spacious and bright, its decoration style is simple and elegant, and the bedding is extremely comfortable, so our family also slept well. The facilities are complete and advanced, with air conditioning, TV, mini bar, etc., especially the hot water supply in the bathroom is very stable, and the shower experience is excellent. The hotel is also equipped with a gym and laundry room, with new and well-maintained equipment to meet the needs of leisure and exercise. The hotel room itself is fantastic, clean and spacious. The showers water pressure was AMAZING. Location is perfect, right in the city center. This is a very distinctive hotel. The rooms are spacious and exquisitely decorated. The service provided by the front desk lady is very considerate and thoughtful. The room type is also very comfortable. The bed is soft and comfortable, very comfortable, and the sound insulation is good. The upgraded viewing room has a great view of the Twin Towers and the White House at night. I will come again next time.

Room: Stayed on the 27th floor in one of the executive rooms and it definitely was not executive. Luxury was definitely lacking as most of the interior in the bathroom/shower bath area was old and in need of help. The closet was so dusty inside too. However the room itself was nice enough with a big enough bed and a good view of the city. Complimentary fruit was there on arrival but compared to other executive rooms in hotels it missed the personal touch. The executive lounge on the 30th floor was fine enough with cakes, salad and some hot dishes alongside fruit and beverages. Would be nice if they offered wine though. Staff: staff here are wonderful. Very attentive and cheerful. Cleaners, waiters, reception and everything in between- all lovely people. Breakfast. The breakfast buffet is the highlight. Absolutely delicious and such a wide variety of to choose. Western and Chinese dishes are available with plenty of fruit and bakery items too. Fantastic. Location: Easy enough to reach plenty of attractions and snack street is very close by. Overall a pleasant stay.

The five-star hotel has complete facilities and a superior geographical location. The highest floor is 53 floors. The front desk lady helped me upgrade the floor I booked to the 51st floor for free, and also gave me a map of the hotel's surroundings, recommending local specialties and snacks. In addition, the night view from the high floors is particularly good, and you can directly see the Jiaxiu Tower. The Jiaxiu Tower is only a 10-minute walk away, which is very convenient. The Minsheng Road Street is a 13-minute walk away. There are many large restaurants across the road. Just charge what you like at **. The underground parking lot is also very convenient. The breakfast is a combination of Chinese and Western + local characteristics. The male waiter at the door is very polite. He guided me all the way to check in and helped me send my luggage to the room. 🙏A hotel worth recommending.

The breakfast is local and Western, with enough varieties, the coffee machine made nice coffee/s. Everything else are new and modern design with nice displays of modern art pieces. The hotel even provide complimentary light supper at 9.00pm. We plan to stay 1 night, but extended to 3 nights. On checking out, we were given a gift goodies as well, so impressive. ❤️, We ll travel again to Guiyang for sightseeing to lot of places we could not make this time and surely will stay here. To find easily, look for Luckin Coffee shop if you can't see the signage in Mandarin. The access to Reception is floor 10th from the elevator inside the Luckin Coffee.

The B&B is located near the main street, facing the landscape lake, quiet but convenient. The facilities inside are complete and quite clean. And the heating is very sufficient, so it won't get cold at night in winter. The person in charge of the B&B was very hospitable and made the whole trip enjoyable.

Hampton Inn in Guizhou seemed to be good. I wanted to go to Kaili to buy embroidery pieces. I called Bruce, the guy at the front desk, and he patiently told me where to go. Taking a taxi to Fengqingyuan is just the starting price. After arriving at the hotel, I was specially upgraded to a suite with a great view. A little girl who was doing the wiring asked thoughtfully if there was enough water, and asked the robot to deliver two more bottles, which was very warm. I bought a lot of embroidered clothes in the evening, and when I arrived at the store, the waiter at the door came over to help. I also specifically asked the girl on the line where to eat authentic fish in sour soup, and she recommended Lao Teng, which was pretty good. The breakfast has local characteristics and is relatively rich. When checking out, Bruce asked me if I had a good night's sleep. He even gave me snacks and water when I left, which was very thoughtful. I will come to Kaili again in the future, and I will come to Hampton again.

I arrived late in the evening at Anshunxi station, so this was a great choice - literally a ten-minute walk from the station, with a few restaurants nearby. Plus, it is in the south of the city, so it is closer to Huangguoshu Waterfalls. You can visit the Water Curtain Cave in the morning and afternoon, with fewer people and shorter queues. Turn right and walk for more than ten minutes from the hotel to overlook the waterfall. Turn left for ten minutes from the hotel (or walk from the back door to the scenic area gate for ten minutes), and you can take a sightseeing bus to the ticket center, Doupotang Scenic Area, and Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area. There are relatively few restaurants near the hotel, and there are restaurants in the hotel and scenic area.

The room hygiene is also very good! It is quiet at night, and you can already hear the chirping of summer insects at this time of year. In addition, the breakfast included in the hotel is good! There are porridge, noodles, steamed buns, eggs, fried rice, soy milk, sweet potatoes, etc., you can choose. Only after eating well can you have the energy to play for a whole day haha~ The Huangguoshu scenic area is really big and hardcore. It took two days to play with the elderly. It is not the flood season yet, but the scenery is still pretty good. The queue for the Water Curtain Cave is about 15-20 minutes. It is said that it may take several hours to queue during the peak season. Oh my god~ It’s good to go now during off-peak hours!

Next to it is Hongshan Lake Park, which is beautiful. You can swim in the lake and there are many facilities for children to play. But there are no convenience stores or supermarkets around, so it’s inconvenient and you can’t even buy yogurt. The hotel is old, the facilities are old, the floor is creaking, and the hair dryer is broken. The light at the door suddenly came on at around two o'clock in the middle of the first day, and then went completely dark, which shocked me. I called the front desk and found out there was a power outage. After the call came, the air conditioner stopped working. It was very noisy with the windows open, and very stuffy without the windows. I couldn't sleep like this all night. The next day, the air conditioner in another room still didn't work. The breakfast was too bad, just like an average town guest house. I didn't eat it the next day and ordered takeout. There are not many hot springs to soak in, and there is an additional charge for the fish therapy pool inside. There is no floating board for children, everything is charged separately. The only advantage is that the service is not bad and it is close to Hongshan Lake and convenient for visiting.

This time I went to Huangguoshu Scenic Area and chose Huangguoshu Resort Hotel. The whole stay experience was perfect and made me linger. As soon as I entered the hotel, the lobby was spacious and bright, and the design style integrated the local ethnic customs and was very distinctive. The staff was enthusiastic and professional. They were meticulous when checking in, and also introduced me to the surrounding attractions and travel guides, which made me feel very at ease when I first arrived. The room is warm and comfortable, spacious, and has excellent lighting. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery around through the window. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the toiletries are of high quality. Every detail shows the high quality of the hotel. The hotel's catering is also excellent. Not only does it have a variety of local specialties, the taste is authentic, the ingredients are fresh, and the chef's cooking skills are superb, which makes people have endless aftertaste. The hotel's geographical location is even more unique. It is very close to Huangguoshu Scenic Area and travel is very convenient. The hotel also provides shuttle services to and from the scenic area, saving tourists a lot of time and energy. This stay at Huangguoshu Resort Hotel has added many good memories to my trip. Next time I come to Huangguoshu, I will definitely choose this place again! Highly recommended to everyone!

Absolutely amazing. I’ve spent most of my adult life traveling the world. Staying at all types of hotels. Mostly 5 star international hotels as I aged. This hotel by far exceeded my expectations. The staff and service are amazing. The VIP driver (didn’t get his name) amazing. Food recommendations amazing. Free laundry service. You guessed it, amazing. The rooms cleanliness and the hotels aethstetics well above par. Located walking distance to the waterfalls entrance, it is conveniently located. Not to mention a music and fountain light show across the street in the park with a beautiful view every night was an unexpected delight. So glad we found this gem. I usually don’t write reviews but this is well deserved and definitely is a 5 star stay!
