Mt. Fuji View Onsen Ooike Hotel

The lobby and the room we stayed in was refurbished with modern touch. However the public bath spaces was relatively small and old. We used the garden public bath and it was very cold because there’s a door going outside right across the door the comes into the interior bath area. When people coming in or going out to the external hot springs, both doors opened and the wind blows into the interior hot spring area where the shower area is. The most unacceptable point is that the hot water system broke down (lack of water in hot water tank) that night hence the shower water was only warm and not hot enough to beat the coldness from the entrance. Hence we did not enjoy the public hot spring and went back to our room with the interior private bath. But the water was also not hot due to hot water tank was lack of water. Hence the in room bath is not hot spring. I was finally able to enjoy the in room bath in the morning. But they really need to make improvement of this matter since they are an onsen ryokan. The food was good but the hot water incident really gave a minus impact of the stay.

Excellent view, facing FUJIYAMA~ the sacred and mysterious volcano, every angle is worth remembering; the most healing moment~ must be the red leaves under Mount Fuji + hot springs + snow-capped Fuji view + Kaiseki cuisine, all of which can be achieved here. You can choose your favorite clothes, which is quite a highlight. Dinner will be delivered to the room, and the service girl will explain it one by one in detail, and experience the concept of service. The food is exquisite and fresh, and it is also matched with various exquisite tableware and creativity. There are also Mount Fuji-shaped cakes and fruits. The meals in the villa area are also produced in the kitchen on the same floor, maintaining the temperature and taste. There will be drum performances and lucky draws after dinner. The club's ice cream and various alcoholic beverages can also be collected at any time. The breakfast is rich and Japanese, and those who arrive late will need to queue. The Lounge also has coffee and snacks. It is relatively quiet in the morning, and you can drink coffee facing Mount Fuji. What a beautiful artistic conception.

We were very satisfied with the kids' playroom, which was our main attraction. It was very spacious and had a wide variety of play equipment, so the kids had plenty of fun from check-in to check-out without getting bored. In addition, there was a free shuttle to a nearby ski resort in the winter, so it was great that we could easily go out to play in the snow without having to drive. However, the other selling point, all-inclusive, was a disappointment. The lounge hours were limited, and there were no lids or trays for drinks, as if they were not expecting people to take drinks back to their rooms. It is clear that one of the reasons the lounge was crowded was that the usage time was short. Even at the restaurant buffet, there were no cups to take back to the room. If the buffet is limited to 60 minutes, I would like you to take your coffee home and relax in your room. Of course, the refrigerator in the room was empty. In the end, we had to buy expensive plastic bottles, so it is not inclusive at all. And there is only one vending machine, which is inconvenient. Think of the lounge as just a welcome drink. I would like them to consider changing the label to welcome drinks or making the lounge available at any time. I felt that the issues mentioned in other reviews, • Long lines at check-in • Luggage carts available on each floor • Bathroom amenities were addressed by the facility.
Fuji Lake Hotel

The hotel offers excellent service, with friendly and attentive staff that make you feel truly welcomed. The views of Mount Fuji are excellent, creating a breathtaking and relaxing atmosphere. And also the private hot spring is incredibly comfortable. There is a nearby bike rental service and the hotel also provides a shuttle service to and from the station. At the front desk, guests can enjoy delightful tea and snacks, adding a thoughtful touch to the stay. lol :D

The hotel location is remote. Dinner had to be pre-booked which we were not aware of, and told was full when we checked in. Front desk staff was helpful and helped us find a local restaurant for specialty Unagi meal. We drove about an hour & half round trip for dinner. The onsen is clean, has outdoor and indoor. In my opinion, room is overpriced given its remote location.

This might be the best place to stay near Mt Fuji! The service is incredible and the staff is very friendly! We booked a dome and loved the sauna, bath, dome, kitchen… everything! The BBQ dinner and breakfast were outstanding and the detailed cooking instructions were very clear. The bed was very comfortable as well. Only one complaint - gas grill is located inside the kitchen and the room fills with smoke. Best to open the sliding doors to let the air circulate and also clean the grill before turning it on. The staff helped us book taxis, which helped a lot, too!

The hotel offered everything for a perfect stay. With complimentary drinks, cookies, and a relaxing onsen, it had all the essentials in one place. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the amenities were excellent. Everything was great—no complaints at all! I would definitely return to this resort.

First luxury camping experience, highly recommended! Complete facilities, including open-air bath and sauna. The ingredients for breakfast and dinner are sufficient, but the quality of the meat is average. We purchased additional ingredients at a nearby supermarket. Camping in the Martian sky at night is a good experience for children! In addition, the campground is very close to the famous scenic spot of Lake Yamanaka, and it only takes about ten minutes to drive~ Pay to check in early and enjoy the sunset~ Will come again if I have the chance!

The overall experience was pretty good some of the minor points for improvement: (1) hotel offers activities and most required reservation ahead of time (2-3days) which was not shared or communicated thus we were unable to participate during our stay (2) the restaurant seats were arranged with little clues though we went early we were not arranged into the place could see views (3) we forgot a coat at the hotel and was not aware until checkout the hotel has yet contacted us till now

we booked this place 3 months in advance and yet the ones we wanted are already sold out. we settled for a different kind. The service here was immaculate. The course dinner and buffet breakfast was decent. We were unfortunate that during our 1 night stay here it rained and we could not see Mt Fuji. There is also a wine lounge and a drum show and bingo game at night.
