And it's really close to the gate of Yala Park. It only takes 10 minutes for an off-road vehicle to pick you up in the morning! The hotel is composed of small wooden houses, which are very suitable for local conditions. The hotel faces a large lake. You can see many birds and even crocodiles without going on safari🐊 The outdoor swimming pool faces the lake, shaded by green trees, and is not too sunny, which is especially relaxing

Regarding our stay at Marriott Weligama. We enjoyed our stay due to few great “pluses”: - perfect view with giant window in room; - kids club works almost all day long, giving parents free time for ourselves; + professional stuff in club. we stayed two weeks in hotel and our favourite and beloved by kid - Bhagya - always met kid with smile, tried her best to interact kid in the most active way (despite some ladies, who found easier to switch on tv and cartoons), she easily found same language with my kid, although kid doesn’t know English at all. What I like most: Bhagya gave feedback on my kid’s activities in club every time. - swimming pool worked till 10pm, which is really cool. What we find could be improved: - evening activities; - more variety at breakfast - please change dishes at least 1-2 times in a week; - coffee beans at breakfast… too burnt taste.

The first morning we had an unusual ”set” breakfast, which was understandable as no buffet was offered when there were so few guests. Water pressure/temperature was unstable and there was a weird pulsating noise in the bathroom. On the positive side, the staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful. It's a lovely estate in absolute terms and stunning in relative terms. Very near the trendy fort area, which is worth a visit. Overall pleased.

The Resort is very beautiful. The rooms are comfy and spacious. I have uploaded some room pictures you can see in that the rooms are nice. The main attraction is the property itself. The Resort is lake side with beautiful landscaping and design. On the first floor the is lounge and billiards room where you can chill. On the second floor ( Terrace ) there are multiple small rooms, lounge, fitness centre and spa created for meetings, leisure and relaxing. There is pool on the ground floor overlooking the lake. Which is perfect in the morning. This property is to enjoy the Resort itself. You can definitely stay here. It is worth the money.

We stayed here in June when it’s low season so it’s not crowded. Staff was super friendly and the pool size is huge facing the sea. In June the waves are really rough so can’t go swim in the ocean. Breakfast and Dinner was amazing, hotel restaurant manager and staff’s service was exceptional. Our room was facing the sea so we get to wake up seeing the ocean. Room was very clean, the only thing is there are lots of spider babies around the sink and closet, also some tiny ants around, everything else is really good. We will definitely come again!!

The hotel is very new, everything is in a very good condition and we liked the concept that it’s not a standard Hilton. You can feel that the service routines are not at the level as it should be, but the staff were always friendly a helpful.

A very comfortable trip, must go to the beach! The beachfront hotel is really the highlight of the trip. Because it is an environmentally friendly hotel, remember to ask for disposable utensils such as toothbrushes from the front desk in advance.

Excellent hotel, we have been to many places and have something to compare with. Breakfasts are great, you choose from the menu and it was included in our stay. Rooms with a beautiful view of the ocean, pool, spa with excellent massage (you need to book a day in advance). There is a Japanese restaurant on the roof with a gorgeous view. Live music from Wednesday to Sunday! We highly recommend this hotel. Friendly and attentive staff. Internet WiFi worked great. The beach is private, sun loungers and towels are provided by the hotel for free, there are waves like almost everywhere in Sri Lanka with small children it may not be very comfortable to swim.

The all-inclusive price is particularly refreshing. You can eat or drink whenever you want. However, the hotel is relatively old and the swimming pool closes early, only at 7 or 8 p.m.

However, after visiting the other rooms in the manor, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the glass house I chose was one of the most desirable residences in the whole manor. The glass house design cleverly uses natural light to create a bright and transparent sense of space. The walls of the room are almost entirely made of glass, which not only makes the interior and exterior landscapes perfectly connected, but also makes people feel close to nature. In the morning, when the first ray of sunlight gently shines into the room, it feels like awakening in the arms of nature. Although the room is mainly made of glass, there is no expected high temperature or poor sound insulation. Instead, the environment here is unusually quiet, providing me with an ideal place to rest. The design of the glass house is simple and stylish, focusing on practicality and comfort, which perfectly reflects the design concept of Bava - the building and the surrounding environment are harmoniously symbiotic, creating a peaceful and peaceful atmosphere. Very nice quality of hotel. Most staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, especially restaurant staff and a very helpful guy called Malindu. Other staff, like house keeping, need further training and should aim to provide better service for a hotel of this quality.

Nice place for relaxing for couple days. It has big and nice pool. The pool guard (Dilash) is just amazing. He is always there to help you with everything. I hope the hotell will upgrade him. The woman in reception is aweful, she seems to be always tierd, and she never smiled, The hotel should change receptionist. We drove with our tuktuk to The hotel wich was very difficult, so dont do that!! Breakfast was ok but nothing more. There is a nice bar with a god service. Hotel rooms are little bit old.

It's just average. There may not be any fast-food hotels in China. I just made do with it for a one-day stay. The mineral water in the room is in large glass bottles. I don't know what kind of water it is. There is no supermarket nearby. I just drank it. There are impurities in the water. I'm not satisfied with it as a whole. There was no breakfast in the morning. When I asked if there was any breakfast, they only served a pot of coffee. The only thing I was very satisfied with was the view. There is a private beach right outside the door. They even arranged for a sumptuous breakfast on the potion of our room. The spears was amazing. There is train track between the hotel and the beach, which was very new to us and amusing.
