Staying at the Sheraton Maldives was an incredible experience. Out of all the resorts I’ve visited, this one stands out as amazing. They offer so much to do and keep you well informed. We had a personal assistant, Jennifer, who was fantastic in introducing us to everything and making us feel comfortable. During our stay, Russell helped us with all our needs.
While waiting to check into our room, we enjoyed a relaxation room equipped with air conditioning, couches, mini beds, and showers. As soon as we arrived on the island by boat, we were treated like royalty with scented lavender cooling towels. We were greeted warmly as we boarded the deck and given a heartfelt goodbye when we left.
The breakfast was outstanding, featuring a wide variety of options. The beaches and water were pristine. My favorite part of the trip was the amazing staff—they were friendly, kind, and went out of their way to make us feel special. Everything was arranged seamlessly, from our boat trip to the island to our return to Malé. I can’t wait to go back!
the island is small but we we see variety of fish ,small shark, Manta Ray, we went snorkeling along the trench, fish groups there! despite the coral are dead, the ocean is beatiful, relatively clean and limpid;
people there friendly, service good and efficient, breakfust also delivious and sorts covers a wide range of food; sedfood is seldom; others are very good, also the pizza very tasty. the island is suit for me since it is my first time come to maldives, when we come for annual leave within Christmas and New year days; the hotel arrange us at very calm place, I even saw the captain of an airplane in uniform one day night for 1day stay at my neighbor next door; I like Malahini very much! the lovely people , the seashore view, the sky when at night the twlinking stars so near when you look up. i will be back beatiful Maldives!
New resort on a paradise island. Great beach, liked the guys in water sports - all the equipment is new, working and the staff themselves are pleasant to talk to.
The staff in the main restaurant is very smiling. They greet you with drums and see you off wonderfully, very atmospheric.
Lots of food, good choice, delicious tuna, sometimes good meat. A lot of everything is included in the meal plan, for us it was even too much.
The room is very hot, you can't live without air conditioning. We were at other resorts - there the villas have higher roofs and thatch on top, protecting the villa from overheating. This is not the case here, the villa is burning hot in the sun. The villa itself is very simple, like a house at a recreation center in Russia) there was not enough opportunity to connect the phone to the TV, more modern sockets, chargers. The air conditioner in the beach villa hangs opposite the bed, it is almost impossible not to catch a cold. The room includes a lot of drinks, wine. I don't know who can consume so much. As for me, it is a bit excessive.
The hotel is new - there is no vegetation yet, it is very hot to move around the island, as there is no shade yet.
There are breakwaters on the main beach opposite the beach villa, I did not see them in the photo. In fact, they certainly save you from the waves, but they spoil the frame) for beautiful photos I had to go to the water sports area. But the island is wonderful! Although not big. This is our third resort in the Maldives, I hope to return someday if the resort grows)
Not long after the hotel opened, the surrounding snorkeling environment is average, there are no corals, and there are few fish. It is far away from the four seasons. The design of the water house is very good, the filming effect is very good, and the food quality is very high
Great hotel, we are delighted! We rested from March 30 to April 6, took a water villa with a jacuzzi (300 rooms)
1. Convenient location. Not so close to Male, does not border any industrial islands, so it was clean and comfortable. But it’s not that far, it’s only a 45-minute boat ride, so you won’t get tired after a long flight. The transfer costs $190 per person, which is not that expensive compared to other hotels. The boat is large, beautiful and comfortable.
2. Sea and beach. The water is super, incredible color, very clean and beautiful, the coastline is along the entire perimeter of the island. The beach is different on each side, so you won’t get bored. Somewhere there is sand like flour and a perfect entry into the sea, somewhere there is coral chips, but this doesn’t really bother you, you can swim without special shoes. Also on the eastern side there is a reef and good depth, where you can see fish. The reef isn't super cool, but you'll still enjoy it. You can swim with a mask for hours, it's very exciting. In general, in the Maldives the water is usually shallow and knee-deep, on this island there is no exception, but there are quite a lot of places where you can go deep without touching the bottom with your feet, you don’t even have to walk a kilometer across the sea 😂 masks are available for rent, take your own
3. Villa. We took the water villa with a jacuzzi on the east side, where the rooms are for adults only. The villa is in excellent condition, even better than in the photo, good repair, entry into the water is simply superb. There is little coral on the bottom, so you won't scratch your feet. The ebb and flow of the tides are strong and the water level changes noticeably. But you can always swim. Moreover, from our view we could immediately swim to the reef with fish, this is very cool! The rooms have vests, they are very comfortable to swim in. There are sun loungers on the veranda, so you can sunbathe at home. Moreover, the villas are very private, no one will see you or disturb you. At night you can’t hear the waves hitting the beams, it’s very quiet and calm. The Jacuzzi is super, open-air, it’s great to lie in it at night and look at the stars. The rooms are cleaned constantly and water bottles are filled every day. I really liked that the fish were swimming right under the villa, it was mesmerizing. And at night the fun begins! Fish swim to the light and there are sooooo many of them! Mini sharks and stingrays also swim; they are also present during the day, but less so. In short, the spectacle is fire.
4. Nutrition. We took FB and walked around with huge bellies 😂 The food is excellent, we have never seen such a luxurious buffet anywhere else. There is absolutely everything! You definitely won't leave hungry. A hundred types of meat, seafood, a bunch of vegetables, fruits, restaurant dishes, we actually tried a lot of things for the first time. Separately, it is worth mentioning the desserts, they are the most delicious!!! Breakfast has everything you need, lots of egg dishes, everything for toast, yoghurts and cereals, etc. The full package includes free water for every meal, and juices and coffee only for breakfast. On Sunday there was free champagne for breakfast. There is also a huge cheese plate for every meal, which is a plus for me personally. There is Parmesan, and blue cheese, and Gouda, and Cheddar, in general, all cheeses. There is also cream cheese.
5. Hotel territory. It is very big, there is room to walk, a lot of greenery, real tropics. Free entertainment: ping pong, darts, billiards, table football, regular football, basketball, volleyball. From paid: golf, tennis, badminton, padel and something else. But for all inclusive it’s all free, it seems. We played golf and enjoyed it. There are also water sports such as jet skiing, kayaking, etc. This is all paid, but for all-inclusive it’s either free or a discount, I don’t remember. There are also various excursions, but we didn’t take them. They also take you for free every day to the house reef, a 15-minute boat ride. There really are more fish there, I saw turtles!!! In general, you can go a couple of times.
6. Prices are for reference. Wine in a restaurant starts from $55, cocktails around $16, beer $10, soft drinks around $8-10. Kayaking is 32 dollars per hour, jet skis are like 130 for 15 minutes. Golf 20 per person unlimited time, tennis 20 per person per hour.
Very beautiful! This island is relatively small, with few people and quiet environment. The service staff are very nice, the food is also very exquisite, there are snacks and fruits in the room, and there is enough drinking water. You can go swimming and snorkeling directly in the sea from the terrace behind the room, or you can pay extra to take a yacht to go snorkeling, which is nice~
Facilities: Very comprehensive, all-inclusive, and I think the food is pretty good too
Hygiene: It feels clean and good
Environment: So beautiful, glass sea, slide 🛝 cool
Service: Most people are very good, a few waiters who look like Indians are of slightly lower quality
I went there for the first time in 2019. The hotel had just been built. It was called North Luxe at that time, and now it is called Jumeirah. Among the more than 10 hotels I have stayed in, it is the only hotel that can rent windsurfing and various manual water sports equipment for free (I heard that the Jumeirah Hotel in the Maldives where I stayed 10 years ago has now been renamed another hotel). In particular, the hotel is very considerate in protecting the safety of tourists. There are lifeguards sitting on a high platform on the beach, always watching the sea. There is also a lifeguard on the lookout at the end of the water house, and the field of vision can cover most of the water sports area, ensuring that unskilled water kayaking, windsurfing and swimming tourists are accidentally swept away by the tide!
Breakfast is good in all aspects. Although the dining environment of Japanese food for dinner is good, I will definitely not order Japanese sashimi next time. I would rather bring a few more boxes of instant noodles.
Special thanks to the employee who works at the water sports equipment rental office in the first photo, who looks the oldest and tallest. Every day when I rented a windsurfing, the staff would carefully check the sails and repeatedly remind me to pay attention to safety. On the first day, they were worried that I would be blown away and unable to return, so they taught me how to save myself and swim back. I hope the hotel can convey my gratitude. Next time I come to the Maldives, I will definitely return to Jumeirah Hotel again.
The old 5 star island, the equipment feels a bit old, the most unfortunate thing is that there is only one Chinese employee on the island or dive center, it is with my parents, they are not good English, they are both on the island Nothing to say. There are many Japanese people on the island, and Japan Go is very enthusiastic about talking with Japanese guests and making people look envious. The service is just like the general, just a lot of professional smirk. At the end of the day, when the island was arranged in a mess, the housekeeper did not know when we left, and the night before, someone called to confirm the time of the island. After sitting on the speed boat, I waited for another half of the day, and a European who had a child was angry. Just... it’s gone. In addition, the fish you can see is a bit monotonous and a bit boring. Finally, at the airport, the hotel staff directly handed us over to the black tour guide? ? ?
After 11 years, I visited the Maldives again. It is really a paradise, and Patina's service is definitely the icing on the cake for this trip. Patina is a full-time butler-style service. After arriving, you don't have to wait for check-in in the lobby, you can go directly to the room, and then the butler has already arranged everything. Our essentialist is Naaish, a very good butler brother. Every day's dinner reservations and daily activity arrangements are all through the essentialist. They will work hard to solve any problems encountered. On the night of our arrival, we felt that the fence around the outdoor shower area was slightly gapped, and the privacy was not enough. After telling Naaish, workers were arranged to reinforce it early the next morning. If you want to participate in various activities in the hotel, Naaish will give you very pertinent suggestions. In the end, we went to the Dolphin Cruise and saw the dolphins and the sunset, a magnificent moment worth remembering for a lifetime. The other services of the hotel are also perfect. The steak I ate one night required a medium degree of doneness. It was a bit difficult to cut after it was served. I thought the steak knife was not very good, but the waiter didn't think so at all, so I got it from the back kitchen and remade it for me. I ordered a portion, and then the chef came out and explained that because the medium should not be difficult to cut, it must be their problem or the problem of the meat. This operation really made me a little dumbfounded. I ate at the Helio restaurant on the last night. It is very common to have a sudden change in the weather in the rainy season. After the appetizer and the main course, it suddenly rained heavily. The waiter helped us move into the indoor dining area. We hurriedly ate dessert and went back The room, in fact, everything is normal, but within half an hour the waiter brought a new dessert, because we felt that we hadn't eaten it well before. Every day at Patina is really beautiful, and I am very, very grateful to every employee for their service.

LLAN HONG CHENIt was an absolute pleasure having Ms. Mariyam assist us during our stay at the island resort! From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly prompt and proactive in ensuring all our needs were met. Any request we had was addressed swiftly and efficiently, making our experience seamless and stress-free. Her attentiveness and willingness to go the extra mile truly made our vacation exceptional. We felt so well taken care of thanks to her dedication. A genuine 5-star service!

NNatasha SheshaIf you're seeking late-night parties and DJs, this might not be the resort for you.
Now, let's dive into the details. The resort is conveniently located just a 20-25 minute speedboat ride from Male airport. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and the island is small enough to walk around in 15-20 minutes.
We stayed in a beach villa with a private pool and half-board. The pool was shaded by palm trees during the hottest parts of the day, and the beach was simply perfect. The online photos might appear a bit dated, but the reality is much better. Our dedicated butler, Reema, was incredibly kind and attentive, making our babymoon special with hot baths, flower arrangements, and private celebrations. She took excellent care of us throughout our stay.
The resort features three restaurants and a charming bar. The food at Lime, the main restaurant, was exceptional—everything we tried was delicious. Although the breakfast buffet wasn't extensive, it was complemented by an à la carte menu that offered a variety of tasty options. Lala made our dinners extra special with his food recommendations and attentiveness to our preferences.
Overall, our entire trip was a success, and the Baros team truly made it memorable.
Things to know:
- Transfers are chargeable by the hotel. Ensure you inform them of your arrival flight 2 days in advance and get confirmation on your transfer.
- The hotel is very relaxed and private, making it ideal for newlyweds, honeymooners, and families with older children.
- The resort offers daily activities, including excursions, snorkeling trips, cruises, yoga, and more. Some activities are chargeable, while others are free, and all necessary gear is available at the Marine Center at no cost.
We would visit again.
GGuest UserThe service and the beach club is exceptional. I really enjoy my stay at the resort. All inclusive package is really good and worth it. The drinks at Breeze is yummy and their attendees are very friendly and helpful. Our reef villa has beautiful reef below us and snorkelling is really fun to do. The SPA is also very good. I really like this resort and will be back in the future.
Special shout out to Suchan in the Breeze that always offer us the most delicious drinks in the beach club.
DdudutekThe rooms are average, the food and beverages are not rich but the products are excellent.
The snorkeling environment is very good, you can see sharks and turtles.
The service is pretty good, the room and yard are cleaned very well.
The island is very small and only takes 10 minutes to walk around. You can participate in the hotel's snorkeling, fishing, and dolphin watching at reasonable prices.
There is a gym but no swimming pool.

ZZzzzzzhhcdcbcvbAmazing beautiful a must do, its a paradise, the island service are amazing, the water is blue, you’ll get a snorkelling equipment for free during your stay , i highly can recommend it…
GGuest UserStayed two nights (approximately 2.3w RMB) and concluded that it is a low cost hotel.
A. The island is not big. There are two restaurants, one Japanese and one chowder. The ingredients are fresh and expensive (based on the per capita consumption of domestic restaurants, the unit is changed from RMB to US dollars, which is the price of his home), but the taste is really average and the whole is salty. There are not many varieties of dishes.
B. Transportation on the island: The airport can be reached by speedboat in 35 minutes, roundtrip USD 357 / person, reaching the price of other long distance hotels by water. Annoyingly, when the first day arrived, the hotel actually said that our ticket was shared and we had to wait for the 4 passengers who accompanied us (their flight is expected to arrive in 1.5 hours). After serious negotiations over the phone, he finally arranged to go directly to the island. If you are not fluent in English, you can only be dumb.
C. The snorkeling environment is average, especially in the snorkelling area. Many corals are bleached. The snorkeling area is also very small. Even if it enters the live coral area, there are not too many species of fish. It can be regarded as Samsung (Sand House) or Four Star (Water House) snorkeling. Been to the best snorkeling in Ihulu Island.
D. For hotels without a reception desk, everything is handled by the butler. The steward is Chinese who speaks Chinese and the service is not one-on-one. Another Chinese couple was also hosted by the housekeeper. The service attitude is very good, although some things will be forgotten, it is probably too busy, there is no big problem in this regard. I still prefer the way to find the front desk.
E. The room is really nice, the area is large enough, and the pool bathtub is available. But this is probably the only strong point of this hotel.
F. The quality of all service staff is very good. Polite and professional.
Summary: Suitable for those who care about the room type, have no high requirements for snorkeling, are relatively wealthy and do not care about the cost-effective tourists. The hotel itself is not bad, the price is too high. . . For tourists who have been to the Maldives many times, this one is really not worth it.
I really have more money and burned my head. This is a big insight after my trip.

IIsdzarteeI stayed here for the weekends and I love it. The price for me its more than worth it cause my room is spacey and its located in front of the beach. Its also just 5-10 minutes away ferry ride to the hotel from airport so its quite hassle free. For someone that easily annoyed with noise you might reconsider another hotel as there’s lot of seaplane passing by but its fine for me. Love the breakfast as lot of choices and variety. Definitely will visit Kurumba again!
