Pools and aqoa were amazing but there is no deep pool all the pool is 90cm hight which is not good for me.
The food variety is limited in some meals
The animation team is very good at night but not very active in the morning.
I would like to thank MR kerolous from the receiption team and MR Adel rhe head of food and beverages for their professionalism and their politly way.

We went there at the end of February, and it was still very cold. Foreigners were all wearing swimsuits, but we never took off our down jackets. It was very windy at the beach, and it gave us a headache, so no one went into the water. Although it was all-inclusive, everything tasted terrible, but luckily we brought instant noodles and pickled mustard. The strong wind caused the sea trip to be cancelled, which was quite boring. The waiters were indeed more enthusiastic towards foreigners, but if you actively ask, their service was also OK. After moving the luggage and taking it to the room, they would wait for tips.
The hotel is indeed beautiful, but the room is small, the wind is strong outside, the food is unpalatable, and there is no sea trip. I don't want to come again for a second time.
It is recommended to come back when it is warmer

We liked everything very much, at first we were skeptical, but during our stay we understood all the advantages of the hotel, the pools were clean, we got a new room (for which a special thank you!😊) clean, they immediately brought a child’s bed, the beach was clean, many sun loungers, comfortable. The service staff is very friendly, the food is varied. 30 min drive to the airport. Let's come back here again!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

It's a good resort hotel. Guests of the hotel are basically white people. You can see the blue sea through the window of the balcony in the room on the first floor. The water is very blue and beautiful. I'd like to recommend this resort town.

Couldn’t ask for a better stay! This hotel is one of my favourite hotels I have stayed in. The staff are absolutely phenomenal so friendly and so hard working, I really do admire them for their service. The room was absolutely stunning, very clean when we first came. The hotel itself is extremely beautiful with a lovely pool playing music in the day and also the lagoon that runs through the whole of El gouna. El Gouna as well is a beautiful place which is incredibly buzzy and beautiful. I couldn’t recommend this hotel more!

Resort datato, necessita di manutenzione ma tutto sommato bello e godibile. È diviso in 2 zone, una internazionale e una riservata al tour operato italiano Veraclub. Il punto forte è la sua posizione: direttamente sul mare in una baia dove il reef si interrompe permettendo così un semplice accesso al mare ma soprattutto è possibile nuotare e fare il bagno anche durante la bassa marea! La barriera corallina è la più bella che abbia mai visto in Egitto!

The hotel was quite good, but Ctrip marked the wrong location and we were picked up by a black car in the middle of the night! Later, I contacted Ctrip to replenish the fare. The location of Ctrip’s 45Km was wrong! The hotel includes three meals a day, and it’s pretty good to lie flat. It’s not as fun as snorkeling at the Aomabay Sheraton at the back. It’s only suitable for lying flat, and there’s not much to do.

BBryce van de LaarThe Solymar beach resort is not the most expensive resort in the Hurghada/Safaga area, but it’s also not the cheapest. Because of this, we were expecting it to be quite middle-of-the-range in terms of quality. At every turn, we were pleasantly surprised and delighted.
The staff were friendly and courteous - whether at the reception, in the restaurant, or walking past someone watering the grass, you are guaranteed a friendly greeting. Everyone is quick to know their customers - after just a day in our usual spot on the beach, Ahmed knew our usual order. The hyper-energetic Magic Entertainment team members were also quick to build rapport and make us feel included in the resort vibes.
We plunged immediately into extreme relaxation with a “honeymoon massage” at the spa, which included time in the dry and steam saunas, a special hammam exfoliation ritual on a heated marble slab, a full-body Dead Sea mud wrap, and an oil massage. The masseuses were talkative and playful - possibly not to everyone’s taste, but this seems to be the Egyptian way and certainly got me smiling and giggling along.
There is not a moment of the day when you might be at risk of going hungry. From the early breakfast in the main restaurant, to the late breakfast at the beach, to the drinks and snacks on offer throughout the day at the pool bar and restaurant, there is always a wide array of quality F&B choices. There is some variation from day -to-day options, and it’s always worth checking out the “fresh-from-the-grill” area to see what the day’s speciality may be. Part of the stay includes one complementary meal at one of the two a la carte restaurants (Italian/Egyptian) where the food is a level or two up from what’s served in the buffets. Go hungry - the Egyptian meal included a starter of hot and cold mezze, a soup, a main course and a dessert (with alternative plant-based and kiddies’ menus).
The resort has done a lot to ensure that it is eco friendly. Apart from the usual request to hang up towels to save water on unnecessary cleaning, they also purify their own water, which is left in your room in chilled glass bottles (it tastes a little weird, but it’s good for the planet).
Overall, highly recommend the Solymar resort.

GGuest UserThe Regina is a basic all inclusive hotel right in the centre of Hurghada. Easy walking distance to the Marina and bars, restaurants etc are right outside the front door. Majority of staff are friendly, tips get you better service (as in most places in Egypt).
Samir who cleaned our bungalow was absolutely fantastic, every day he left something else in our room that helped us enjoy our stay. From a kettle (not typical to get in Egypt all inclusive) to hotel embroidered slippers and a wonderful smile every single day, I hope the management cherish him as he is simply brilliant.
The bungalow was spacious enough but the shower was tiny, beds comfy, plenty of clean towels too.
The food is basic and not to the standard I’ve had in other hotels in Hurghada but there was always something to have. The beer is poured in to small glasses from a bottle and all the spirits are local equivalents. If like me you need coffee early morning (before 7) then you’ll have to pay for it. They have a machine in a little cafe area and at the pool/beach bars but machine coffee is not available whilst breakfast is being served. Instead it’s provided in a huge urn and not very palatable.
If you arrive before 3pm you’re not entitled to have lunch or dinner after 12 o’clock check out on your last day…they cut your band off when you check out. If you check in after 3pm then you can get a voucher from reception which allows you to have lunch. I’ve never had this at any other hotel in Egypt (this was my 18th visit) and adds to the basic feel of the hotel.
If you’re looking for a cheap hotel to enjoy the ever present sunshine then the Regina could be for you.

GGuest UserVery average. The facilities are old. I requested a double bed room but was given a standard room. They said there were no extra double bed rooms. I was supposed to stay for two days but checked out on the second day. I couldn't stay. There were too many people and it felt messy.

Those people are hospitality gurus, the way they treated me and my family made us all overwhelmingly happy. Every single detail was taken into consideration and exceeded my expectations.
-Once in the restaurant my son was hesitant and in seconds the chef made him a special order that suits his taste.
-Snacks and pizzas are so yummy.
-The hotel is nice and cozy.
-The views are relaxing.
-Super clean Rooms, Pools and restaurants.
-The main restaurant served seafood several times. However, It was never smelly and this is a plus.
-Access was available to Jaz Casa Del Mar's lovely sandy beach.
Words won't express my feelings when the hotel sent me a complimentary birthday cake on my birthday and another compliment was sent the next day (fruit platter, nuts and maccarons😋😋)

CCiaraI recently stayed in the Sunrise Alma Bay for 8 days and the hotel atmosphere was just great. The hotel staff were so helpful. My room cleaner Ibrahim was so accommodating, friendly and efficient...and an expert in towel art! Emad at the pool bar was so welcoming and the service was excellent. Hamdy and Mohammed in the towel station/by the beach were friendly faces every morning and so helpful. Anastasia in Guest Relations came around to our table every breakfast and was able to action any little requests we had. She was very impressive with her notebook and actioning things so quickly. And lastly, when I asked to extend my room for a few hours (and very reasonable additional cost) on my last day, the Hotel Manager arranged for me to be moved to a suite on the seafront and the concierge Mahmoud was so kind in helping with my luggage and room change. I have been visiting Egypt for 10 years now and this stay has been a highlight for me because of the helpfulness and friendliness of the hotel staff, the delicious food, the pool (one of the best I have seen), and the beach front with pier and lagoona just make it the perfect location. The added bonus is that it is only about 20 mins from Hurghada airport. I would recommend this hotel to families, couples, singles and will definitely be coming back again. Thank you. Ciara

Eeddy-1358This hotel is quite old. If you just come to play, this hotel is a good choice. After all, three meals a day can be solved in the hotel. If you are very particular about eating, then go out to eat! Because there are more Russian guests in the hotel, many of the food is partial to Russian taste. Local food is also more seafood and beef and mutton.
Red Sea, the main thing to play is the sea, go to sea, go to sea, dive...
The seaside of the hotel is facing the east, and the sunrise is the most beautiful.

AAntonioIf you drive a Lamborghini and a Rolls Royce every day, and you’re thinking of leaving your Monaco apartment, where you keep your collection of Rolexes, this hotel is definitely not for you. (Insert sarcasm here.)
My wife and I were very hesitant about booking this hotel because of the negative reviews, but to our surprise, we discovered an absolutely stunning place.
The food is excellent, offering plenty of options even for the pickiest of eaters. The cleanliness is a perfect 10/10. The entire staff is friendly and accommodating. The beaches, pool, and activity areas are all beautiful and well-maintained.
My advice: don’t let the negative reviews discourage you—come here, and you won’t regret it. We will most definitely return!

GGuest UserThe room was so spacious, I was a solo traveler, but the room was big enough for 4 people. The room had its own walk in closet, and the bathroom was great. Shower space was huge, also had a spot to sit/ lie down whilst showering. There was also a nice balcony overseeing the resort. The rooms were cleaned everyday, I had a guy named Sabary cleaning my room, who is a top bloke, extremely hard working, and he could speak 4 languages (Arabic, English, Russian and German). He tried his absolute best to keep the rooms clean, and to ensure you were enjoying yourself. The food was great, there was a huge variety, the aqua park and pools were awesome. Everything about this resort was just brilliant.

GGuest UserI like it very much. The price is over 600 yuan, and everything is very good. The scenery is beautiful, the temperature is just right, there are many clingy kittens, and they have their own eating place and someone feeds them regularly, so there is no need to worry. The hotel has everything, it is a completely comfortable holiday style.
p.s. If you mind the pilling of the bedding, you can bring your own quilt cover or something. The bedding in some rooms is indeed quite pilling.
