The Shanghai Maglev Train is the world's first commercially operated high-speed maglev line. Officially launched in 2003, it primarily connects Shanghai Pudong International Airport with Longyang Road Metro Station.

Spanning approximately 29.1 km, Shanghai Maglev speed may exceed 431 km/h. Though since 2020, the commercial operating speed has been adjusted to a maximum of 300 km/h. With a total travel time of about 8 minutes, it’s a fantastic way to experience the future of transportation technology.
The Maglev, Shanghai train, utilizes German technology, using electromagnetic force to levitate about 1 cm above the tracks. It runs with almost no noise or vibration, offering an incredibly comfortable ride.

The Shanghai Maglev Train route is incredibly straightforward. It starts in the west at Longyang Road Station on Metro Line 2 and heads east to Terminals 1 and 2 of Shanghai Pudong International Airport. The entire line spans about 30 km, and the one-way trip takes just 7 minutes and 20 seconds.

The first train from Longyang Road Station departs at 6:45 AM, and the last train leaves at 9:40 PM. Frequency varies by time of day, as trains run every 15 minutes before 7:00 PM and every 20 minutes after 7:00 PM.

The first bus departs Shanghai Pudong Airport at 7:02 am, and the last bus departs at 9:42 pm. The frequency varies at different times of the day. Buses run every 20 minutes from 07:00 to 08:40 and 19:00 to 21:40. Between 09:00 and 18:45, buses run roughly every 15 minutes. So, plan accordingly.

Quick tip: The train doors close 1 minute before departure, and ticket gates close 5 minutes before the last train leaves; please make sure to keep an eye on the time!

Check-in Friendly and professional female staff helped with the check-in service. Fluent English and great customer and hospitality. I believe that was a superb first impression and gives a hotel a credible outlook. So thank you to that staff. Gym Large and spacious gym for a variety. I highly recommend to guests to be flexible on their gym workout hours. I normally go to the gym when it opens, 7am and usually there are 2-4 people. That’s probably enough space to allow rotation since the weightlifting area can be a little small for more than 2 men using dumbbells. But spacious for 4 people on cardio treadmills and 2 in the weightlifting area. Laundry It is a laundry self service, it’s very handy and efficient. Expect a lot of people using it so make you to time correctly when. There is an over 8 washing machine and 8 dryers so be smart with your timing since going back and forth via lift is a long 2-5 minutes walk. Restaurant Unfortunately I haven’t tried their breakfast nor dinner so can’t comment on this. Hotel Lobby Spacious and stylish, there is an area for charging your phone and a table for any desk work. There is a cute small garden outside like a patio where you can enjoy small drinks and a more discreet chit chat. Room Spacious and clean. Modern and clean floors. Cleaning staff are doing a wonderful job and super polite when passing by the corridors. So don’t be afraid to say hello or good morning. Check-out Small gift was prepared and given on our checkout and Yu Xuan helped with the process. Thank you to Yu Xuan. Overall, I do recommend this hotel due to its location, gym and laundry facilities. The only improvements I could see that may help is elevators can become quite busy, sometimes stairs may be helpful for those who are on 3rd and 2nd floor who can quickly go to 1st floor. Not a major issue, just stairways can come handy in this situation.

The hotel environment is nice, and Xiao Shang (staff name or 'little staff' in general) provided excellent service. The facilities are quite new, and the room is spacious enough. If you order takeout, a small robot delivers it directly to your room. It's also very close to the subway station, about 100 meters away.

This was my second stay at Atour Hotel, and its location is fantastic. It's just a short walk from the subway station, making it super convenient for getting around the city for business or reaching various transportation hubs. The complimentary self-service laundry and dryer are a great bonus! (٩•̤̀ᵕ•̤́๑) I received a free room upgrade, and the room was spacious with a great view. Aside from the occasional door-closing sound from next door near the entrance, the soundproofing was good, and I had a restful stay. Special shoutout to Zhang Guoqi at the front desk – he was excellent! 👍👍

The hotel's location is excellent; you can walk directly to Jing'an Temple. The smart heated toilet seats and Dyson hairdryer are a big plus. The smart room control with Xiaodu is also good. You can ask the front desk for a room facing the residential area for a quieter stay.

Superior Family Room
I originally booked a small family room with no windows through the platform. When checking in, the front desk staff offered us a breakfast discount and a room upgrade. The breakfast for 3 people for 2 days was essentially half price, and we were upgraded to a much larger family suite with windows! The stay was excellent – it was clean, tidy, spacious, and had great natural light and ventilation. Plus, the room number they gave me happened to match my baby's nickname, which was a fun coincidence. The breakfast over the two days had different dishes each time, and it was tasty with a good variety. It felt like great value for money. From the elevator lobby in the hotel, you can see the Shanghai 'Four-Piece Set' (iconic skyscrapers), and it's very close to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, The Bund, and Yu Garden/Chenghuang Temple. When we checked out, they even gave us a small gift of face cream. This is definitely a hotel I'd choose again.

I booked this place for the Mid-Autumn Festival. Yu Garden was really crowded, so I decided to enjoy the moon with my friends on the large terrace instead. The service from the concierge to the cleaning staff was excellent! The location is super convenient, just 100 meters from the Bund. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip! 👍

Superior Balcony King Room
The hotel was very nice. The breakfast buffet had a mix of western food and Chinese food. The only improvement I would suggest is a more powerful toaster, but that obviously isn’t a deal breaker. We stayed in a lovely room with a balcony. The housekeeping was wonderful and came every day during our stay. The view of the Bund from the elevator waiting area/lobby was really nice, especially in the evening. Highly recommend staying at Blossom House!

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the City God Temple and Yu Garden. Yu Garden subway station is also nearby, and it's just one subway stop to Lujiazui's 'three piece suit' (referring to the three skyscrapers) and the Oriental Pearl Tower. It's also very close to the Bund, just a few minutes' walk.
