Hotel was ok receptionist seemed a bit flustered when we arrived. It does say check in at 3 but we wanted to enjoy the day out in East Kilbride so arrived at 12 . She did comment to another member of staff about us and another couple arriving early. We didn’t have to go to room just wanted to get out and about without luggage. She then said she could charge us a fee for early check in but said she would let us off this time. If she had charged me I would have said stick it. Reception is floor 12 . We were on floor 8 . Couldn’t get heating to work in room and the wind was whistling through the windows and were really noisy couldn’t do anything about the windows. All in all it was fair

We were completely exhausted when we checked in and delighted to find a comfy bed with lovely views over the river. We rested for a while and then went to the spa. The pool was just the right temperature as was the sauna and steam room. It was very relaxing. We enjoyed a great meal it was very tasty and served quickly. I'm vegan and gluten free and the choice for me was excellent. We then strolled around outside for a while catching the setting sun. The scenery was gorgeous. We slept really well and again enjoyed the spa facilities before a hearty breakfast and checked put completely refreshed at 11am the next day. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you New Lanark Mill Hotel.

The service provided was pleasant. The hotel is located along the highway and has a supermarket beside with some fast food joints. The hotel is not exactly in a touristy location but it serves as a convenient location to branch out and back when visiting multiple places. Breakfast was served with sausages, bacon, eggs, cereal, etc. pretty normal of which both my children had enjoyed. Room was clean and spacious with the double bed and sofa bed. If we are visiting Scotland in future, this hotel will definitely be on our consideration.

We stayed to see show in Glasgow. Beautiful quiet area. Great link with the motorway 5mins. An extra bonus we stayed during a race day. We had racecourse view. Very clean room with friendly attentive staff. It is possible to buy food and drink all night. A great bonus when returning late to the hotel. We will be back in October for another show. I would not consider staying anywhere else now
