After visiting the ancient city, I checked in to the hotel. It is very close to the scenic area, and it is only a 10-minute walk. 570 / night, outdated facilities, rooms are relatively tide, the price difference between the previous night and the Candara Heritage Hotel is only one hundred, but it can not be compared, the cost performance is extremely low, it is not recommended to stay at all. The hotel is built next to a lake. This lake is said to be the largest lake in Sri Lanka. Before booking, I saw some wild elephants drinking water in the morning near the hotel lake, so I booked it without hesitation. I had imagined sitting on the balcony overlooking the lake and eating the noodles of the motherland, but I opened the balcony door and found that I could not see the lake at all, and was covered by the canopy. I ran to the lake in the evening to wait for the elephant to drink water. , The elephant did not come.

The property is located in front of the lake. Immersed in nature it is very suggestive. We arrived around 6pm and unfortunately the pool closed at 6.30pm so we didn't have time to test it. They offer free spa service but massages are subject to charges. The restaurant is well stocked with alcohol, you can eat discreetly buffet-style cuisine, both typical Asian and international, for around €15 per person. Breakfast is also a buffet; you can find sweet/savory products and freshly cooked eggs. Our room (deluxe double) was very nice, on two levels: in the lower part the bathroom has a particular concept. A sliding door takes you directly into the room with a half roof covered only by a net. All very beautiful but impractical and above all there is the risk of finding many insects, as in our case. In the upper part there is the bedroom, very comfortable. The upholstery is not entirely clean and this contrasts with the entire structure.

The room was not checked properly. The first one who took out his ears turned out to be dismantled and used. Secondly, the water was not 24 hours hot. The shower was not hot at night. Thirdly, there were no disposable toothbrushes and slippers in the room, which was not used until checkout. The price is reasonable, the hotel welcomes you warmly, but there are many tricks. If you don’t order water for dinner, your mouth will definitely dry up. And they are all charged in US dollars. There are many interlocking tricks. Maybe your expectations are too high at first.

The monkey jumps the squirrel and jumps. If there is no flies, the country holiday garden hotel is already very good. There is also a welcome drink. The children are also free to stay. The enthusiasm of the black is responsible for pulling the baggage. The tipping fee is not enough. Drinking water can be purchased from the store outside the hotel. Hotel bath water is salty, can not boil water, go to the national forest safari jeep can drive to the hotel lobby to pick up the dinner restaurant atmosphere is also very good, basically no Chinese and live singing

In the morning, I heard the roar of elephants, saw monkeys with long white beards, groups of egrets, many strange trees, and the ecological environment of Taiyuan, I love it! If it weren't for the special forces-style itinerary, I would have just stayed in this hotel. If you want to come to Sri Lanka to see the Lion Rock, I recommend you to stay in this hotel.
