The room was very spacious and comfortable, making my stay truly very enjoyable. There was plenty of parking available, and it was easy to access. The receptionist was also friendly and easy to deal with. Overall, a pleasant experience. Last but not least, view from paddy field also very awesome.

The location was great. If you’ve already enjoyed plenty of time on the beach, this hotel is a nice next choice. It’s close to the beautiful Dataran Lang, less than 3 km away. The hotel also offers a delicious breakfast, and just around the corner you’ll find a laundry service and a traditional Nasi Lemak restaurant, which is very convenient.

I had a very pleasant stay at Resort World Langkawi. The location is slightly away from the main tourist attractions, which makes it perfect for travellers who prefer a quieter and more relaxing environment. The receptionists and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful, and they were always willing to answer any questions I had during my stay. Their hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. The hotel also provides free parking, which was very convenient since I had rented a car to explore the island. In terms of accessibility, the hotel is about 20 minutes from Langkawi International Airport and roughly a 10-minute drive to Pantai Cenang, making it easy to reach popular spots while still enjoying a peaceful stay. One thing to note is that there is only a single mini mart within the hotel and the prices are a bit on the higher side. On my first morning, I ordered breakfast through Grab instead, which was still convenient since delivery services can reach the hotel easily. The room floor had some visible stubborn stains and the hotel does not provide room slippers, so you may want to consider bringing your own if you prefer not to walk barefoot in the room. Overall, it’s still a good option for travellers looking for a quiet and relaxing stay in Langkawi, especially if you plan to drive around the island.

The hotel is good for its RM220 price tag. The breakfast is not very good but acceptable. There are many food stalls nearby and it is close to Lotus’s. This hotel is more suitable for a transit stay and is not recommended for a vacation. A RM100 deposit is required upon check-in.

The Pelangi Beach Resort in Langkawi is a beachfront resort. From the main entrance, it's a bit of a walk to the lobby. The lobby itself has that distinct resort vibe, with a high ceiling adorned with several large, beautiful chandeliers. It's open from front to back, so you can see the view from the other side directly from the entrance. This is where you check-in, request a golf buggy, and there's also a lobby bar in the middle. Stepping out from the lobby, you'll find one of the infinity pools. Beyond the pool are kids' amenities, including a water slide, and then it's straight to the beach. To the right are the guest accommodations, which are all individual wooden chalets. Some are single-story, while others are two stories high, with guests on both levels. No matter where you stay, you'll either face a lake or the pool, and the views are absolutely stunning. In addition, there's another pool called the Caesar Pool. This one is quite unique, with a swim-up bar. You can swim right up to the bar and order drinks. Normally, swim-up bars charge to your room, but here they only accept credit cards or cash, which is a bit odd. Who carries a credit card or cash while swimming? As I mentioned, the entire resort is made up of wooden chalets. We stayed in a family room, which had two beds – one double and one single – perfect for a family of three. The room has a ceiling fan and a door leading out to a small private terrace. You can sit here and gaze at the sea. There are also two sun loungers outside, belonging to the chalet, where you can sunbathe, enjoy the breeze, and watch the ocean – it's incredibly relaxing. The bathroom in the room is spacious, with a toilet, shower, and bathtub. At the end of the bathtub, there are louvered blinds that you can open to reveal a beautiful view, making for a very pleasant soak. The entire resort feels very natural and rustic, with sun loungers dotted along the beach. There’s a peculiar type of tree that looks wild and wind-swept, like messy hair. There are also many coconut trees, and if you look closely, you'll notice that the trunks have been cut with notches, creating footholds for climbing. I assume this is because ripe coconuts often fall naturally here. I even saw a coconut on the path during a walk, so I imagine they have people climb up to harvest the nearly ripe ones to prevent them from hitting anyone. Furthermore, the beach here faces southwest, offering spectacular sunsets. The resort's restaurants are famous internationally for this. There's also a beach where guests can swim. However, the restaurants are very open to nature, so there are a lot of seabirds; sometimes they'll even swoop down and snatch food from your plate while you're eating. There are also quite a few small insects, which you'll have to accept if you stay at the resort. But being so close to the sea, soaking up the sun and swimming is truly relaxing. While this hotel may not have the same prestige as the Four Seasons, it offers excellent value for money and is definitely worth recommending.

Overall, everything exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and memorable stay. I will definitely be coming back!

Online reviews mentioned that staying in Kuah Town would be quieter, but since it's surrounded by seafood restaurants and roads, there were still motorcycle noises around 11 PM or 12 AM. However, it didn't bother us late sleepers, and it quieted down even later. In comparison, Pantai Cenang, being by the sea, would be much quieter. The room felt like an older 4-star hotel. I stayed in a twin room the first night and a king room the second, and for 300, it was generally good value for money. There's an I-Bing bubble tea shop nearby with delicious taro milkshakes, and it's also very close to Wonderland. Parking is very convenient and free.

Stayed here during our CNY balik kampung trip — overall the stay was okay and reasonable for the price, though we’re not sure why the reception has been moved to another building as it looks older and less presentable compared to the more welcoming main lobby hall.

Really great stay at Holiday Villas, has more than everything you need for a great holiday. The rooms are dated but they are clean and have all the facilities you need. The balconies feel a bit risky for young children so maybe requesting a ground floor room is better. The setting is perfect. The beach is so nice and there are more than enough sun loungers, toilets nearer the beach would be helpful as it is quite a walk for people from the beach. Overall great stay.

I stayed at PARKROYAL Langkawi Resort for 8 nights in their Family Suite and it was truly an amazing experience from start to finish. The resort is extremely spacious and you could easily spend your entire holiday just enjoying everything it has to offer. The facilities were fantastic — from the private beach and relaxing spa to the pools for both kids and adults, as well as a fun activity room. The beach view was stunning and the sunset was especially memorable. It’s also conveniently located near the Cenang area, making it easy to explore nearby shops and restaurants. The staff were another highlight of the stay. They were consistently friendly, helpful and always smiling, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend PARKROYAL Langkawi Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. I’d definitely return!

I booked a garden-view room for three for my parents and myself. We had a very pleasant stay at Ombak Villa, thanks to the comfortable and spacious room, clean bathroom, and excellent service from the staff. The hotel’s location is ideal, as it is close to the airport and major attractions in Langkawi, and also conveniently surrounded by good local restaurants.

The hotel is well-maintained and looks very new. The king-size bed is extremely comfortable, with a Serta mattress that makes for a great night’s sleep—I almost didn’t want to leave the bed! The decor features white mosaic marble, and the toiletries are from Balmain. The location is also great, not too far from Cenang—just a 5-6 minute drive. Walking is possible, but it can be quite hot. The breakfast is also delicious, with freshly prepared dishes: omelette, chicken soup noodle. There are restaurants across the street, including the Orkid Seafood Restaurant. Behind the hotel, there’s also a beach, and they provide a buggy service to take you there. The pool is awesome! 24hours gym. Got jacuzzi and sauna. However, some towels were a bit yellowed, and the water in the bathtub was slightly discolored, though the shower water was fine. I noted that I was celebrating a birthday, and they thoughtfully prepared a cake and decorations for me.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great stay for short getaway! I stayed at Dash Hotel last weekend and really enjoyed my stay. The location is great, at the end of Pantai Tengah, just a short drive to Pantai Cenang and surrounded by plenty of eateries (including Orkid Ria!). The food at the hotel was good, and the breakfast with sparkling wine was a lovely touch. The view, especially during sunset was super beautiful. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beach vibe! 🌅🍾

The Mercury Hotel in Langkawi offers a pleasant and comfortable stay, especially for travelers looking for a mid-range option. Situated in a convenient location, it’s close to key attractions and beaches, making it easy to explore the island. Rooms and Amenities: The rooms are clean and well-maintained, featuring modern amenities like air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and comfortable bedding. While the décor is simple, it provides a cozy atmosphere. Some rooms offer scenic views of the surrounding landscapes or sea, enhancing the overall experience. However, a few guests may find the space a bit small, especially if they have lots of luggage. Housekeeping is prompt and attentive to guests’ needs. Service: The hotel staff is friendly, approachable, and quick to help with any requests. The reception staff, in particular, is often praised for being accommodating, whether assisting with room changes, organizing tours, or providing useful local tips. The overall service is smooth, though during peak seasons, you may experience a slight delay in requests. Dining: Mercury Hotel offers an on-site restaurant serving a mix of local Malaysian and international cuisine. While the breakfast buffet provides a good variety, some guests feel the food could be a bit more diverse and flavorful. For those wanting more options, there are plenty of eateries nearby, offering a chance to explore the local culinary scene. Facilities: The hotel includes a modest-sized pool, which is a nice addition for guests looking to relax after a day of sightseeing. There’s also a fitness center, though it’s quite basic. If you’re in need of a more extensive range of equipment, you might want to explore nearby alternatives. Location: One of the highlights of Mercury Hotel is its convenient location. It’s a short drive to some of Langkawi’s popular beaches and attractions, such as Pantai Cenang and the Langkawi Sky Bridge. If you don’t mind a short walk or taxi ride, you’ll find plenty of shops, restaurants, and tour operators around. Overall: Mercury Hotel offers good value for money, especially for travelers who want a comfortable and central base from which to explore Langkawi. While there’s room for improvement in some areas like dining and room size, the attentive staff and ideal location make it a great choice for those seeking a hassle-free stay.
