The hotel is new and clean, stuff is very friendly and professional. Everything was very good during our stay. The only unpleasant thing is construction right under windows of sea view rooms. It started at 7 am and was really loud. However, it is definitely not hotel’s fault, and moreover, the stuff provided us another room twice: one on the higher floor and another on the other side of the building, where the sound of construction is almost zero. We really appreciate that! As for location - you will need to use taxi to get to city centre, restaurant and cruise ports, but that’s ok, if you have Grab/Bolt. The prices between VND 45,000 and VND 140,000 depending on distance. N.B. We’ve visited Halong at very low season, so c. 60% of bars/ restaurants were closed and the rest were empty (except for couple of European).

I stayed at Panda Hotel for four nights. I really enjoyed my stay during this time. The hotel was nice and clean and the owners were very friendly. The location is on the Port side of the Bridge to Halong bay (ferry and boat trip departures). Whilst interesting with things to do and see the old town on the other side of the bridge was busier and also interesting. I used the hotel as a base to get around visiting Halong bay (old town and surrounding areas) and Cat Ba island with the surrounding islands. A great time and recommended.

Needless to say, the cleanliness is very friendly and the information staff speak good English. You have to have a card key to use the elevator, so security is good. It's a bit far from the main street, but it's quiet and the view is good. It's still under development in front, so there are a lot of construction sites, but it'll be even better when it's developed. It seemed like a good idea, and I went early, but they let me check in early without saying anything. The pool was nice, the breakfast was very delicious, and there were a lot of kinds of bread! The saying that it's good value for money seems to be what they're talking about here! I am very satisfied that the bedding is in good condition and all the dishes are prepared in the kitchen. It is nice to have a beer on the terrace, and the Bluetooth speaker is also good!!!🫶🏻🫶🏻 I am much more satisfied than the 200,000-300,000 won per night accommodation!

The hotel location was great. It was located on a quiet street away from the busy city center, so I was able to rest comfortably. The staff was really friendly, and the personalized service was really impressive. The room was spacious, and the view from the balcony was perfect.

First of all, the facilities are good for the low price. There is a market and a Vietnam/China border immigration office nearby. The staff were very friendly and nice, but the massage shop on the 6th floor seems to be not so good.

The hotel itself was great - clean, big and luxurious rooms - but may be better to wait until all the repairs are completed to enjoy the 2 swimming pools, fitness centre and even the hotel room balcony. Some distance away (but walkable) from Sun World entrance but since we were looking for a relaxing stay, we were good where we are with a nice view of the bay and the cable cars crossing over the water.

Although classified as a 4-star luxury hotel, no concierge service was available and we had to transfer our luggage ourselves to the room. Only two front desk staff members were there, who did everything. There was no travel agent to provide travel or cruise information or services in Halong Bay. The breakfast spread was limited to selecting from the 2-3 options a day in advance, which was not a 4-star menu. The room provided was a two-room suite with an attached kitchenette, which had a cooking stove, but no cooking utensils or even plates for serving. Even a basic necessity like a microwave to heat food was lacking. There was no hot water facility for washing utensils. The air conditioning was not centralized, but independent units in each room. The bedroom size was very small, with barely any space to open the wardrobes. Overall the two-day stay experience was not as comfortable and luxurious as one would expect in a 4-star accommodation. There was no rooftop swimming pool or bar and in fact, we were told that there is nothing much to explore on the higher floors. Our accommodation was provided on the 14th floor.

A beautiful hotel with absolutely stunning views of Halong Bay. We were in a twin room on the 12th floor which was quiet at night, with an incredible view of the bay and overlooking the pool - possibly the best view I’ve ever had. The service was great and the staff all very polite, friendly and helpful. There is good variety in the restaurants and prices are reasonable for what you receive. We also took full advantage of the grand spa, which offers a full range of treatments at a reasonable price. The spa staff could possibly have been a touch more professional (there was giggling which wasn’t totally appreciated) and the reflexology was much more of a leg massage, however we still enjoyed our treatments and for the price versus time of treatments we were happy. Location of the hotel is beautiful and away from the busy hustle and bustle of the city, though this means taxis are necessary in order to get anywhere. Hotel staff are very happy to help you organise these taxis though which made things very accessible. Overall a lovely stay and I would certainly stay here again.

The rooms are clean and hygienic. The biggest advantage is that each room has a balcony, which is convenient for smoking and watching the scenery. There is a jacuzzi in the toilet. There is a window next to the jacuzzi so you can take a bath and watch the scenery. There may be someone who happens to be boating and asks you for it. Don’t buy beer. The food on the ship is a buffet for lunch and breakfast. It is not a particularly high-end dish, but it guarantees that you will be full. Dinner is a Western-style set meal. The ingredients are not particularly high-end, but it can still make people feel full. On the ship The only drawback is that they will always sell you drinks and alcohol. Overall, although it is a five-star cruise ship, in terms of food, you can't eat lobster and seafood, but you are still satisfied. The view from the room is also good.

The experience on the Erina Cruise was perfect. The boat is very comfortable and beautiful. The room is spacious and luxurious. The bed was perfect, it's a shame I didn't have more time to lie down. The boat provides numerous activities for travelers: fishing, cycling, diving, beaches, live performances, kayaking, heated pool, cable TV, etc. The included meals are very tasty and the service in the restaurant is remarkable. The cleaning of the room was excellent. My special thanks to the employee Lee who was kind and even learned a few words in my language to communicate with me. The music on the boat was very pleasant too. To help other travelers, I leave two tips: 1 - stay for at least 2 nights to make the most of the experience. Ha Long Bay deserves all the attention given. 2 - The internet is quite unstable. If you need to work, consider an alternative to what is offered on board.

A quiet getaway from the hassles of the big city. The staff was extremely helpful to arrange admission to local attractions and services. Highly recommend staying in Tuan Chau for access to the day tours launching from the pier.

The cruise is very nice and clean. The room is spacious and has very nice view. The service is good. They have activities for guests to enjoy like kayaking, cooking class, and dark and bright cave visit. The food provided is somehow decent for me comparing to the price I paid. For 2 days 1 night, they provided a buffet lunch, a set menu dinner and light breakfast and brunch on Day 2. But overall, it was a good experience.

French style, high-end room decoration, comfortable bedding, complete facilities and good quality. The service is thoughtful and enthusiastic. My friend's mobile phone was broken, and the boss drove us to the place where the mobile phone was repaired, and helped us arrange a day trip to Halong Bay and a bus back to Hanoi the next day, which brought great convenience to our trip. We didn't spend much money and had a good time. Thanks to the boss!

The service was very good. The response to the additional shuttle bus arranged from Hanoi to Halong Bay was very fast. The bus went to the wrong hotel first that day, but someone could follow up within ten minutes. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the boat. The dining also surprised me. I participated in this three-day, two-night trip alone with my two children. Before the trip, the online service staff informed me that it was suitable for children and assured me that I could enjoy the journey. The communication and transfers from Hanoi to the cruise ship were excellent! We arrived in Hanoi at 07:00, but were exhausted and rested in a cafe. Even though we changed our pick-up location on the same day, the luxurious shuttle bus still safely transported us to the pier. During the trip, I am very grateful to all the staff on the Le Journey Luxury Cruise, especially Mark, who took care of us for three days and two nights, and Owen, who took us to Viet Hai Village on the second day. They were thoughtful and provided us with a sense of adventure while ensuring our complete safety. I loved the Lan Ha Bay itinerary, including cycling through the fields, experiencing the amazing fish foot massage, kayaking freely in Lan Ha Bay to explore caves, and walking on the fine sand of the mysterious white beach. Thank you! The cruise room was spacious, comfortable, and fragrant! We could fully immerse ourselves in the beautiful scenery of Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay. The sailing was comfortable, and I loved the cruise route selection, which allowed us to get closer to the beautiful scenery and escape the hustle and bustle. The food on the cruise was also excellent! Whether it was the buffet at lunch, the set menu at dinner, or the set menu at Viet Hai Village, everything was delightful and full of surprises! I highly recommend the Le Journey Luxury Cruise three-day, two-night itinerary for families with children. The activities, such as cycling in Viet Hai Village and the fish massage, made it an unforgettable adventure for the kids!

I am delighted with this trip! Immediately after ordering, a company representative contacted me and we agreed on a transfer to Halong from a hotel in Hanoi for 550 thousand dong per person. Everything was organized perfectly, the ship is nice, the room is good. The food is delicious and plentiful. Activities include a trip to Titov Island, you can climb to the observation top, you can also swim on the island, sail on bamboo boats through a small cave and along a hidden bay, another cave, a master class in making spring rolls, fishing, a cave (in the photo program). Kayaking separately, $ 50 per person. In fact, one day, but very active. Additionally, they helped me organize a transfer to Ninh Binh from Halong. The staff is excellent. I was there in early April: 20-24 during the day, but cool in the evening. It was not sunny, not foggy - just cloudy. But still very beautiful.

La Regina Grand Cruises.. The cruise is good one, tho looked little old with squeaky wooden flooring but had an ancient luxurious touch to the interiors. Mobile internet & WIFI onboard signal was really really bad. Some activities provided onboard. And we did learn on how to make the vietnamese fried spring rolls. Overall was ok and yes u should add in your Hanoi trip!! 🥰🥰

If you are looking for a Hotel near the Marina so you can board your Cruise in the morning then seriously consider this Hotel. The staff was pleasant and waited for our late arrival then arranged for us to be driver to the terminal on their EV. All four of us really enjoyed our stay here and wished we stayed an extra day instead of Hanoi. We arrived late so we didn't get to sample their cuisine but we had an enjoyable Breakfast Buffet.

The quality of the hotel is pretty good, but I asked the counter if breakfast was available until 10 o'clock, and it was gone at 9:05! It turns out that the counter told me that the breakfast time is Beijing time instead of Vietnam time. After me, two guests arrived without food. It was really unprofessional!
