Prices start at £4 or £5 per night... This is an old castle hotel on the west side of the Scottish Highlands. From a common area point of view everything is well done and impeccable. But from the point of view of the rooms...the price/performance ratio is obviously super low. The facilities are outdated, so I asked for a humidifier... A hair dryer that was produced 20 years ago came, which was completely unacceptable and had no humidifying effect at all. The shower room has very strict requirements on the size of the guests, and I personally feel that the water pressure can be further improved and improved. The laudable point is that the shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap in the bathroom...all have two ball royal certifications, and the quality is also carried. The cold and hot water device of the washbasin is a traditional separate type, which is the kind of water that you either use cold water or hot water, and it cannot be warm water anyway. The sofa in the guest room is made of fabric. The disadvantage is that you can't see whether it has lice or whether it is clean. Anyway, it is so old that people don't want to sit on it at all. The carpet is lint-free, which means it's ”aged”. First let me say that the owners were incredibly kind and accommodating. It pains me that to even write this but I thought fellow travelers should hear my experience. First, there are two aye stays in Inverness. My gps took me to the wrong one first. That was awkward. After I finally figured it out, the place was very cutely decorated with Scottish and Loch Ness decor. Contactless check in was easy however a board with everyone’s name and room numbers does not feel super safe for me a solo female traveler. But over all easy enough. Next I stayed in room 7 which is up a flight of stairs so make sure you pack light! (Which you should do anyway in Scotland.) My room had just been renovated with new carpet but it smelled like off gassing and I had to open the window (which was broken) there was a radiator for heat which I had no idea how to use. So it got a little chilly. Now here comes the problems: the rooms are very close together and the walls are paper thin. I was kept up until 3 in the morning hearing conversations and snoring. We were only given the choice of receiving breakfast between 7:30-8:30 in the dining room. So I woke up earlier than I would have liked to eat breakfast. Which was just okay. Nothing too outstanding to write about but again the hostess was very sweet. Overall I could see that they’re trying their best. But I would recommend sound machines in each of the rooms or something so people can have a good nights sleep. The location was pretty good and just over the bridge from the high street.

We arrived a little later and had already checked in, but the aunt was very good and was still waiting for us, and the hotel environment was very good, there was a kitchen, a lounge, and free parking. Staying here in the morning, you can see the mountains and lakes, very good. When you come, it is recommended to buy some food in the supermarket on the road. It is not convenient to buy food here.

服務太讚了！！我們從湖區一路開車過來，到達時是晚上8點多，錯過了最遲入住時間，旅館職員下班前通過攜程不斷聯繫我們，但因為路上無信號，我們並不知道。到達後見到前台無人，我們一臉懵圈，試着致電旅館人員，對方馬上接聽，告訴我們已安排好的房間號碼，房門沒鎖，鑰匙在房間桌面。並且有一張手寫的留言放在旅館門廊的顯眼位置。很感動！ 我們頓時心安下來，房間整潔乾淨，衞浴特別特別寬敞，桌上還有歡迎小餅乾。晚上很安靜，隔音不錯，聽不到其他房間的動靜。 早餐正對着湖面，心曠神怡。旅館員工還特意問候了我們入住感受，並昨晚的不便致歉。這是太贊啦！

There is no way for us to sleep, and there is no room for an extra room. The kettle is black, no toothbrush, no slippers, nothing to eat for breakfast... 3735 yuan/night is not worth it! I didn't sleep well all night on the floor. Our front desk said that three people would stay, and didn't say extra money, but after I complained that the size of the bed didn't match the description at night, I added 200 pounds + breakfast the next day.
