the room is clean. The bathroom and toilet are separated so it's clean. the bath water drain is a bit small,so the bath water is still stagnant, but it is still safe. the head pillow is very high,so it is not comfortable to wear to sleep,so during the stay,i don’t use a pillow. The concept of a room in the middle of the ceiling is good, only for those who are sensitive to the noise of mice running around, which is very disturbing, but it is still good, only when at night, the sound of mice on the horn is very annoying ...

Quiet and serene place to rest up. Experience village lifestyle where you need to make your own fire to heat up water. Basic amenities (electric, water) are provided. Organic fruits are available (guava, tomatoes, Papaya)

Ndalem Diajeng Homestay in Yogyakarta is a charming and welcoming accommodation. The traditional Javanese architecture, spacious and clean rooms, and friendly staff create a delightful experience. The delicious breakfast and convenient location near popular attractions make it an excellent choice for a memorable stay in Yogyakarta. Highly recommended.

From videos, it looks like it has a large living room. My mistake for not checking the room size. I came with 3 adults and 3 kids(all below 8) and we were so cramped in the Elderweiss room. The rooms are better at accomodating a group of friends - max 4 or a small family with 2 kids above 10yrs old. Really max for 4 pax, another person added and you can't move much in the room. My daughter scratched herself when she was climbing the staircase as it has sharp edges (the wood has chips off). Booked the place for 2 nights. Service was good. The aircons (3 of them) took hours to turn cold although already put them at 16°.

Pros : - Great location, it is easy to find any food courts from steak house, coffee shop, gelato - Fast check in process but you have to put your ID Card in the front office during your stay - Quite place because it is not to close to the main road - There is hot water and good AC - Big enough parking area for motorcycle and cars - Good service from hotel staf to accomodate our request Cons : - We have stained bed sheets and thin pillows - No tissue - The room is not sound proof - At that time we have to ask for bath towels which is should be in place along with toileteries

What a fabulous guest house. The rooms are lovely and uniquely designed with artwork and furnishings, giving it a curated appeal. Staff are so genuine and attentive, making friendly conversation and sharing helpful info on visiting the temples, local warungs to try, etc. Daily breakfasts were delicious, varied (a choice of three things, with new dishes as well), and plentiful. The pool area was sublime and the location in the lanes off the main streets makes it an oasis in this busy city. Highly recommended.

An absolute dream in Yogyakarta, superbly located. We had the junior suite for €65 per night... an absolute gem. Ozzy is incredibly helpful and always willing to help. The entire complex is so beautifully designed and relaxing... almost like a museum. The only thing that was a bit annoying was the morning muezzin call from the mosque next door (the hotel can't do anything about that, though); you should expect that when traveling in Indonesia. Thank you so much for a truly wonderful stay.

We stayed 3 nights, the common areas were big enough also with a kitchenette available for guests. The area was silent but not the guesthouse, continue noise from other guests starting at 6am. The room was also spacious although very outdated and dusty. We asked for cleaning and the staff accomodated our request. The other main issues were the mosquitos which kept us awake most of the night together with the other guests' noise.

The place is nice. Price is reasonable and comes with breakfast. The toilet is simple with only cold water but it's hot anyway so that's ok. It's not a hotel, is a home stay, so the owner lives in the house. He is nice. If you want to talk it's fine, if you don't he won't bother you. It's a very nice house. I would recommend a bit more cleaning and arranging things but in general I liked it and would come back.
