We had a pleasant stay at the Mitsuba House for our holidays. It’s a beautiful house, and has everything we need to cook and play. The Owner kept the house so nice and clean, and most importantly, the house is warm. I had a bad experience before staying in a Japanese House and it was very cold. The Owner is super friendly, walked us through the house to make sure everything is fine and we stay comfortably at Mitsuba House. I will definitely like to stay at Mitsuba House again when we come to the area. Highly recommended!

Booked the Japanese style room with toilet. Shower room has to be shared on the 2nd floor. Room has no amenities at all. Basic hair dryer and hot flask are in the communal area. We had to set up the bed ourselves. Room was dusty and was freezing cold even tho there was heater from the air con on winter’s night. There’s instructions to learn how to kill the stink bugs. The hotel facilities are good but the overall experience wasn’t good.

The hotel's facilities and hygiene are very good There is a kitchen and public space The only drawback is that there is no private bathroom So you need to wait for public showers and toilets Because the hotel location is relatively remote The landscape is very beautiful on snowy days But it will be more difficult on the way to the hotel Because there is a lot of snow and steep slopes

The room is large and very clean. The hotel has a history of 100 years, so the sound insulation is not very good. There is no shower facilities in the room, but it doesn't matter if you go to the hot spring on the first floor. The breakfast was very rich and delicious, and I saw the soup a few steps downstairs.

一人旅で宿泊させていただきました。湯畑からは歩いて10分ほど。周辺は民間が立ち並んでいて静かな場所です。歩いて数分の場所にはLAWSONがあり簡単に食事を済ませるのには便利だとおも思います。近くの公衆浴場はコロナ対策のためか周辺市民のみ利用可能の張り紙があったため観光客は利用できない模様です。（巽乃湯さん） 無人営業をしているお宿でチェックインは玄関のタブレットで簡単にできます。ネットに慣れている人であれば楽ちんです。また、先方からメールが送られてきてそちらで必要な情報を入力しておけばスムーズにチェックイン可能です。 1人部屋を使用させて頂きましたが、畳部屋で広々としていてどこか懐かしい気持ちになりました。コタツと石油ストーブの組み合わせは最高でした。トイレは共用で部屋にシャワーは付いていませんが近くにたくさん温泉があるので問題なしです。タオル類が着いているのは助かります。 また機会がありましたら利用させて頂きたいと思います。

The flowers are well maintained and a mountain lodge-style inn that suits the atmosphere of the ski resort very well. The course meal for dinner was delicious, including wine. Before breakfast, I took a walk on the slopes of Hodaiju Ski Resort and it was very beautiful and comfortable. It was a plan with rafting, so I had a little early breakfast prepared. I enjoyed the first rafting a lot thanks to the fun guides. It is inconvenient that there is no toilet in the room, but the overall evaluation including the price is perfect.
