A very nice guesthouse-style hotel with relatively large rooms compared to traditional Japanese hotels. It’s very convenient for self-driving, with a parking lot right downstairs. From the left side of the window, you can catch a distant view of a corner of Mount Fuji. Great value for the price. However, there is one downside: the shower water flow is inconsistent, alternating between strong and weak, hot and cold throughout the day, as mentioned in other reviews. Hopefully, this issue can be improved soon.
The location is very good, the facilities on site are also excellent.
The customer service is very weak, especially considering it is a self check in policy, theoretically the accommodation will contact you via WhatsApp or Line or E-mail to send you the check in code….theoretically. To this day I haven't received my code, we managed to enter by entering the name of the person who made the reservation. It turns out that in the case of accommodation without reception, some guests may have doubts and feel uncomfortable with the lack of communication.
I checked in at Fuji-Q Highland with my baby. I arrived at the Shinjuku bus station last night. The bus was full. I took the tram and got off at a very desolate station. There was no one in the Japanese village at night, and there was no Taxi. We didn’t receive the message that we were going to pick up the station. We bravely walked 3 kilometers at night and finally found the B&B. The next morning, we opened the door and came out only to find that we were facing Mt. Fuji.
We checked out at 10 in the morning. The landlord is Chinese. He sent us to Fuji Station and took the Fujikyu free bus to Fujikyu Land in one stop.
The Japanese-style rooms are clean and comfortable, with public toilets, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and kitchens. The service of the proprietress is very good.
I traveled with my mom since she came to visit and hasnt been to the area, it's easily the best service I've ever received - the owner is incredibly friendly and helpful and the property is absolutely gorgeous. I definitely plan on returning in the future, perhaps yearly for a getaway. Thank you so much for the delightful stay!
Was a very very clean room! It's much better than the photo and very close to the lake. My friend and I lost our passports, and the administrator helped us communicate with the bus station and we got them back successfully! It's worth staying here, thanks sister! ! !
Come to Qingli, the European wind town, stay at the B&B is very good, very close to the station, the B&B does not have Wi-Fi, just bring your own data card, breakfast is good, only one day in Qingli, went to Mengmu Village, Qingquanyi, Thank you very much to the owner of the B&B, very good people, take us to Dongze Bridge, Yebianshan Station flashed photos, followed to Qingquan ~ entrance to put down our own visit, see Mount Fuji, Bayue 👍, if you have the opportunity to come again, you will go hiking in Dongguan Creek Valley.
The location is located opposite Lake Kawaguchi and Mount Fuji. Every home has a perfect view of Mount Fuji. You can easily see Fuji in the lake as soon as you wake up. The house is very large and the bathroom is well-equipped. You can take a bath while looking at the lake view. The disadvantage is that there are no chairs. They are all kneeling in the traditional Japanese style, which is difficult for foreigners to sit for a long time. In addition, the kitchen equipment is a bit rudimentary. It is possible to cook but it is a bit laborious.
Hotel location records Kawaguchiko Station walking time is about 15 minutes, walking to Kawaguchiko Station to take various transportation to the major Fuji attractions is very convenient. Open the window to see Mount Fuji, the hotel facilities are also very advanced, children especially like the bunk beds.
I checked in with 5 points, and the service attitude is super good! Good price! It's very spacious for a family to stay and experience the Japanese home environment, with all the pots and pans available! It’s just that the bedding is so mediocre that I can’t sleep soundly!
European style multicourse dinner/Jacuzzi with free reservations available. Free Wi-Fi

GGuest UserI took my mother out to play and chose Yamanakako specifically. There were few people and it was quiet to see the red leaves. I stayed for two nights and slept until I woke up naturally. The environment was very good and I could walk out to see the red leaves festival.
The transportation was very convenient. I rented a bicycle from the boss. I rode to Yamanakako on the first day, took the bus to Kawaguchiko at the door on the second day, and continued to ride. On the third day, I rode to Oshino Hakkai. 😃
I was too lazy to go to Gotemba, but it was also very convenient after looking at the map. In the evening, I ate the boss's recommended Shoya and the boss's beef hot pot. The boss's wife was very enthusiastic and honest. Next time I bring my baby here to stay and continue to ride a bike. 😃😃
GGuest UserExcellent location, just a few minutes walk from Kawaguchiko Station. The room was spacious with a tatami bed and a bunk bed, it can comfortably sleep 3 people. There is also an air purifier in the room. The bathroom and toilet are shared, they are spotless.
WWorld_WandererNice little photo spots around inside hostel (heater nearby), experience corner allows you to try Kimono (free to try inside hostel, chargeable if you want to wear out), and do some little craft. They sell handmade stuff too.
There’s a normal kitchen table you can use, and little lockers (with key) if you want to deposit small items near the reception.
Washer and dryer are each available for use at a fixed charge (300 yen each, Jan 2025).
Japanese style bath house available.
Last photo shows the 5 steps to lay the bedding in the room. Decent space and aircon is warm enough for winter period; though there’s no floor heating, they have a table with cloth around that you can use to keep your feet warm.
Amenities is 4/5 because they don’t allow you to use the shower for free after check out, but they still allow the use of kitchen, and toilet after check out.
Luggage deposit before check in and after check out is free as of Jan 2025.
CcassapocketKawaguchiko Station Inn
Convenient location right opposite the station
No lift in building, but the building is only 4 storeys high.
Tatami bedding is soft and comfortable, room is warm and clean. And very spacious - enough for 3 and 2 big luggage and still space to move about. Kettle and water pitcher provided. Yukata, towel and toothbrush provided.
Onsen was great - went multiple times and was always almost empty, perhaps everyone was shy. Otherwise individual cbathing cubicles are also available, though only 2.
Toilets are separate, common one on every floor. Same, never saw anyone else at the same time nor had to wait, perhaps everyone is out most of the time.
Best part of the rooms is the view… 🤩
Tldr: very convenient location with spacious warm rooms, great views and free onsen.
KKarine ZhengSuperb stay! There’s very clear english instructions within the house for any equipment use (including a massage chair!).There’s Jacuzzi in the bathroom too. The location is great! Clear view of mount fuji from our roof top. We loved it so much!
EEveWe had a fantastic one night stay at Glamping Villa Hanz, and only wish we had more time to explore the different activities and nature tours. Food for dinner and breakfast was arranged very well, there were a lot of written guides for how to do all the BBQ cooking and how to make a bonfire with all the hardest parts of camping taken care of for you. The public bath/onsen was very nice and well maintained. The queen beds were very spacious and comfortable in our Pao for 2 and I slept extremely well (except for the loud pop music playing at the bar area in the morning which woke us up).
GGuest UserA beautiful quaint guesthouse with a goat pet. Ben san and Kaori san were great host. I had dinner at the guest house which was beautifully presented. It was a 5 course italian theme meal with coffee. Thr gurst house is a littlr further from train station but pick up can be arranged. There were many restaurants within walking distance from the guest house. Several Walking and hiking trails are doable from guesthouse. The walls were not totally soundproof, but no issue in japan. My room had a sun roof which was great but it also woke me up with the sun light shinning through early morning. May not be a bad thing as it helped tp start the day early.

GGladys KimotoFor family of 4, the room of this hotel is EXCELLENT! So comfortable, cozy, spacious, clean and safe! Complete with ALL AMENITIES we need, plus they have complementary drinks and snacks, Kid-Safe environment plus the night lights at the backyard of this room is STUNNING!!!! We went to Yamanashi to visit Mt. Fuji and super thankful that we got to stay in this Hotel, 15-20mins drive away from Lake Kawaguchiko, where the best photo spots for Mt. Fuji, they also have in-hotel food and beverages for sale, easy to transact, and would really feel at home because of the Privacy and Security plus Cozy ambiance ☺️ Will definitely come back here!!!
KkimkimujintaniIt takes about 15 minutes to walk from Kofu Station. There was a staff inside. (Recently, Japanese guest houses are corona and there are many unmanned places where staff do not correspond.) The staff response was normal. The building is also like that, but the building was old and it was a Russian style building that reminded me of the old building when I traveled to Russia from Japan.
