How sad people give negative reviews of a hotel where all the staff go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable.. If this street is not to your liking, book somewhere else, all hotels are reasonable. Room was EXCELLENT. Cleaned every day, bed linens and towels changed daily. We arrived here from the airport, we have almost 3 mouse pedals in southern Thailand and we are going to sleep at 2N guesthouse before our return flight. We recommend +++. Booked a room for 2 nights. The room was spacious, clean, strong water pressure, but the air conditioner was quite slow to cool down. It might be because the room was spacious but the air conditioner was small. The bathroom was spacious, the staff was lovely, and the rice was delicious. The price was considered okay. It was only a few steps to the beach. There was parking at the end of the alley, not too far to walk.

You can reserve 3 rooms during the Nang Le 3 concert. Room rates will be approximately 1,200 baht per room. We got vegetables for 2 people, so we reserved 3 bedrooms for 5 people and got 6 coupons to eat, but there were only 5 of us so we went to eat together. 5 people, the restaurant that was taking care of the breakfast, gave us only 5 coupons. 1 coupon was not given because we only had 5 people, causing us to lose the right to eat 1 coupon even though we paid the full room price for 6 people. This felt very unfair in staying in a good room, good service, maid B, Nong Counter. Very good, but the breakfast restaurant is not okay at all.

The villa is very comfortable and in a quiet location (nothing much in walking distance) right next to the beach. The swimming pools are great and the service is very friendly. However, this place is more suitable for a separate life and does not provide most of the usual hotel services. Moreover, it is too expensive for what you get. For example, there is no reception and no phone number to call after hours. Breakfast is included and very funny but the options are limited and honestly it's not good. We planned to cook most of our meals because there were not many restaurants options nearby; this demonstrated a bit of challenge because the kitchen was not fully equipped (although functional after requesting a small toothbrush) and the promised grilled meat is not there. You also need to come with a Thai person because there is no English service. We had a good time, but the price/value ratio is not accurate and will not stay for that reason.

We needed to spend a night in the historical centre of Petchaburi and Agoda showed the only other guesthouse nearby as “sold out.” The fan room we were given was very dark and dingy, although it appeared to be clean, and the toilet and showers were down a steep staircase. Although it would have been OK, I guess, for just one night, it was far below our usual minimum standard. We decided to try the other nearby guesthouse, and they offered us a very nice bright room with ensuite bathroom and air conditioning for not much more money — even though the property showed as “sold out” on Agoda. We decided to take that room and blow off jj home despite losing the few baht we had prepaid that were not refundable. I want to emphasize that the young manager who checked us in and showed us to our room was very friendly and personable. The fault was not his, but rather the quality of the room.

Ban Bang Home Resort is a very small resort, owned by Nong On, with only four or five rooms in total. This is our first time staying here. The room we stayed in has air conditioning, hot water, and a TV. Although the room is small, it is clean and comfortable. The resort is located by the pond, a five-minute walk to Samaran Beach, very quiet. There is a small restaurant in the resort, but there is no menu. Nong On and her sister are responsible for ordering and cooking. The food is delicious! Nong On and her sister welcomed us very warmly and the service was very attentive. Later we took friends to stay here several times and we were very happy. If you like to go out to bars at night, I don't recommend staying here. But if you like a quiet and friendly atmosphere and don’t want to be too far from the beach, then I highly recommend this place!
