** A Simple Stay** Nestled in the heart of the city, the Hotel offers a modest retreat for travelers seeking basic accommodations without the frills. During my recent stay, I found the hotel to be adequate but lacking any notable extravagance. Upon arrival, the check-in process was smooth, and the staff were courteous, albeit not overly attentive. The lobby exuded a functional charm, with minimalistic decor and seating areas that served their purpose without much flair. As I made my way to the room, I noticed the corridors were clean but somewhat dated, reflecting the hotel's unassuming character. The room itself was spacious enough for a comfortable stay, albeit with furnishings showing signs of wear and tear. The bed, while not luxurious, provided a decent night's sleep, and the linens were clean. One of the notable aspects of the hotel was its cleanliness; the housekeeping staff did a commendable job of maintaining tidiness throughout my stay. However, the absence of complimentary meals or even a breakfast option was disappointing, especially for travelers looking for convenience. In terms of amenities, the hotel offered the essentials: Wi-Fi, a television, and a functional bathroom with soap. While these amenities sufficed for my short stay, they may fall short for guests expecting more modern conveniences or recreational facilities. Overall, the Hotel is a budget-friendly option for travelers seeking a no-frills accommodation option in a convenient location. While it may not dazzle with luxury or amenities, it provides a decent, albeit unremarkable, place to rest one's head after a day of exploring the city.

The location is very suitable for those who plan to visit the area around PSU, Hat Yai Bus Station, and Central Festival. However, the touristic area around the train station is 20 minutes away by songthaew (THB15/ride) or 35 minutes by foot. The check in was smooth despite my slightly late arrival at 9 p.m. The lady owner was kind enough to upgrade me to an A/C room. The room was basic but clean. Bottled water and towel were provided. Wifi was good. I got a room facing the road, so there was some traffic noise even late at night. I managed this by using earplugs. Overall, I recommend this place.

Hat Yai Market Area
Great location, a 5 minute walk to the Hat Yai Central mall, but otherwise a bit further out from the centre but easy and quick to get a grab bike there. The room was very spacious (4th floor delux room) but wasn't particularly delux, but was comfy, quiet and clean 😄The front desk staff are very friendly but speak very little English. All in all I stayed 4 nights and apart from the WiFi not working in the room there was nothing to complain about. I got an alternative WiFi code that did work but the connection was very bad.

It was a family trip, and my niece found this hotel or guesthouse from Internet. It was quite new, converted from an older building, and the rooms, the beds, the pillows are all quite new and comfortable. No breakfast is served, but they do have free coffee, water and biscuits corner if you like (tea was missed out and I have highlighted to their front desk). Wifi is working well, though in the lobby is the best. Location wise, it is in another corner of Hatyai city, but once you get to know the way, walking to Kimyong market is quite near. They have the family room type, with a queen size bed and double decker in another attached room. Front desk is very helpful and speak good English.

We arrived at 7.45am after a 14 train ride from Bangkok. The hotel were kind enough to give us a 9am check in. Plenty of time to enjoy some street food breakfast before resting. Big & clean room with a comfortable bed & decent a/c. Staff friendly & helpful thought, took care of our transit booking to Koh Lipe. Very good location with plenty of food nearby & a short Grab ride to some nice bars for the evening. Second picture at Swan Pub, also recommended. Definitely come back here next time in Hat Yai. Very good value too. 👏👏👏

this is my firstime went to the very very bad hotel. because first thing is, we put the makeup sign on 0900hrs and cameback at 1430hrs something. When we cameback, we expect the room already clean but nope. we very frustrated. they just change the towel but the bathmat still wet and dirty. they didnt vacuum the floor at all. i dont know how the room attendant do their job. okay second thing is, tomorrow during chechout, yaa normally the front desk will ask us to wait for a minute to check the room if any damage or lossing item. so the room attendant found that out bedsheet have a foundation stain, and they ask 200THB for wash fee. ohmaigod this is my firstime went to the hotel the guest have to pay for that. even 5 star hotel, blood stain, paint stain they didnt charged me even 1 cent . and the front desk is not professional at all. i swear. very very bad services.

The room is very spacious than the price. Service like a hotel Good security, there is a security guard throughout and must use the key card to take the elevator and enter the room. But secretly deducted points in the corridor, the smell is very bad and the floor of the room is a bit sticky, there should be a slipper for the location if you have to do business around the university. It is considered convenient, near the market, overall considered impressive.

I was a little unsure when I saw that there were not many reviews, but after seeing it on site, I was completely relieved. This should be an old hotel that was renovated and reopened. The lobby and rooms are very clean and tidy, and there is no odor in the toilet. Hotels in Hat Yai are generally old, especially those near the train station are still very expensive, so after comprehensive comparison, this hotel is highly recommended.
Baan Nai Nakhon

Post pandemic shackles off, wanted to try more hidden corners of Thailand, so came to Songkhla, an hour east of Hat Yai airport, to see the old town, an area with plenty of history and charm. Over the last few years, tiny cafes, galleries, and shops have opened, but town is not yet gentrified. Boutique hotel Baan Nai Nakhon is in the middle of all of this, decorated with a mix of quirky timeworn furniture and ceramics, and handmade mosaics by the laid-back & multi-lingual owner Danny, that used to fly for Thai Air. Breakfast starts at 730 in his garden cafe with heart and flower shaped fruits, and the main can be a dish of amazing roti. Just a perfect hotel to explore Songkhla old town from
