Queen Anne Bed and Breakfast
4.9/5101 Reviews
The Queen Anne Urban Bed & Breakfast is number one for a reason. Our two night stay was great even before we arrived. They send you a link to a guide explaining thorough directions/instructions on your code for the inn and your room, parking options, local restaurants, etc. It made it so easy to check-in. We also got a lovely tour from Hannah when we arrived. The place is charming and full of eclectic art. Stevie made delicious breakfast and was super friendly. I did not expect mushroom & goat cheese toast. Yum. The back garden was adorable. We were in the Fountain room, which was huge and overlooked the park. The room was comfortable, clean, and had a massive jacuzzi tub/shower and two sinks. Not to worry, there was a footstool for us shorter people to get into the tub. Note, there is a step to get up to the toilet. I also liked our desk area and comfy armchair. The location was great for exploring Denver. About a 20 minute walk to RiNo or Union Station. I would highly recommend Queen Anne to others traveling to Denver. It was a great way to close out our first trip to Colorado.
Tivoli Lodge

We've returned to Tivoli multiple times over multiple years since the entire atmosphere is unpretentious and relaxed, the entire staff is outstanding and both of these allow us (and our white Lab, Takoda) to relax and decompress without any unmet expectations! We're already looking to return soon

Disabled not welcome. We had booked afternoon tea for a party of 9. I am in a wheelchair. There are 3 accessible parking spaces in the back lot, none of them have hash marks for unloading a wheelchair. I had to use a separate entrance from my party, the workers entrance where people are coming in and out with trays of food and where the dumpsters are. Dehumanizing and the staff seemed irritated I was back there. Their website says the main level is wheelchair accessible, and that they have an accessible bathroom. While I was able to get in to the area to have tea, the bathrooms were not even remotely accessible. I have a standard wheelchair that is 24 inches wide, the one bathroom that did not have stairs going down in to it was not able to be navigated by wheelchair. A staff member told me I might have better luck on the 5th floor, where there are stall bathrooms...but the elevator is also not accessible for a standard chair. It is blocked by a door on a hinge that doesn't open wide enough to allow entry. A full sized power chair would be hopeless in most of the building. There is no excuse in this day and age to lack accessibility. The gift shop is also inaccessible. So is the tour. The overall feeling was very hostile and unwelcoming. 3 of our party have celiac disease. There is a $3 upcharge for gluten free food, which much like the accessibility was just a nod to appearances. The scones were miniscule and so dry that my SIL begged for some jam (that doesn't come with them) to try and soften them enough to eat. The regular food had a nice presentation, the gluten free looked pretty much slapped together. It was definitely not worth the $40 price tag. Tea is bagged, and left to steep in the pot. This was a special occasion and most of our party was from out of town. I would not return, there are far nicer and more welcoming places to have afternoon tea that don't discriminate against disabled people.

This is a homestay which is cheap and value for money. Breakfast is good with self service. This homestay is about 55 mins to Vail Village and Ski Resort.

The hotel is what you pay for. A clean, low key hotel room with a bed and shower. Not sure what else my son and I needed. Don’t expect a fancy breakfast in the AM. The money you save can be used to walk over to village inn just a short walk away. Of note, we had a 2 bed room. The beds are doubles, not queen size. So if you have more than 2 people, it may be a tight fit. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Breakfast is ok, the room is not big but enough, the service is good, we booked the room on Ctrip.com, check-in procedures are done immediately upon arrival, no deposit pre-authorization is required. Relatively cheap hotel, can't have high demands. It's just that there is an iron frame beside the bed that is more than an inch longer, and I got knocked on my leg at night

My daughter and I had the most pleasant stay and the absolute best mother/daughter weekend! We enjoyed staying in a historic and majestic building, woke up to the smell of wafting bacon aroma, relished the delicious gormet breakfast in the peaceful garden, visited the sites and restaurants within walking distance (like the Molly Brown house just down the street), and sipped wine on the porch in the evenings. It was perfect! Our Forget-Me-Not room was clean and comfy and having on-site parking was a huge benefit/relief. Everything was just wonderful! Thank you, Carl, and your whole staff!!

DO NOT STAY HERE DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS WHAT I AM ABOUT TO SAY HAPPENED TONIGHT 9-18-2019. I have never left a review like this or been treated like this in my entire life. My heart aches so much right now. Please read this until the end. I am the mother of 6, a wife and have a masters degree in business administration. Unfortunately I also have cancer. I am having surgery tomorrow and spoke to someone at the hotel before I booked my room. I live close to this hotel in our home with my family and the hospital I am having surgery at tomorrow is near by. I knew the preparation for surgery tomorrow was going to be difficult and I did not want my children or any of my family to have to endure my suffering tonight. To get through the pain and time I am facing we decided it best for me to get to be alone tonight but near our home in case I needed my husband or someone to come to me. I spoke to a male employee at the hotel when I booked my room about getting a late check out. The plan was to go directly from the hotel to the hospital tomorrow but my check in at the hospital is at 2:00pm. I called to see if I could check out at 1:30pm and that is what was agreed to by the man I spoke to when I booked the room. I was told by him that if there was going to be any issues at all he was leaving a message for the manager and I would receive a phone call. Angel, the horrible women that discriminated against me when I went to check in said the man I spoke to no longer works there. I just made the reservation a couple days ago!!!!! Angel refused to allow me to speak to a manager and then said she was the manager for that shift which I am certain is entirely untrue. She accused me of cussing at her which I never ever ever cuss. My husband was standing right there because I am too sick and weak to be able to drive myself and again, surgery is tomorrow so someone dropping me off and picking me up was the idea. He too could not believe this women's horrible behavior. He is a witness to the entire thing. She refused the late check out I had been promised so then I said fine I have the key I will deal with it in the morning and she said she deactivated the key and did not complete my check in and was not honoring my reservation. By this time I was sitting on the floor because I was getting so sick and in so much pain. She yelled at me for sitting on the floor instead of the chairs across the room that they had in the area. I do not generally sit on the floor but sitting in a chair with my legs straight down is extremely painful. My entire family can tell anyone I do not sit in normal chairs right now almost ever. Even at our kitchen table. I can't. Angel then proceeded to say she was calling the police because I was sitting on the floor.........Can you believe it? I am crying by this time and my husband had to just help me up and back to our car which I had a hard time walking to. He helped me get all the way back home where I am sitting in agony as I type this
River Mountain Lodge by Breckenridge Hospitality

Historic Downtown
This place can be spectacular or shabby, depending on the room you get. And the only way to know what room you are TRULY getting is to book through the property. I learned this the hard way. Important discoveries: 1) do not stay here unless you can guarantee a river-facing unit with a balcony. These can be quite affordable and they are nothing short of a dream. The sound of the river just outside your window all night will lull you to sleep with the most beautiful white noise of nature. Sit on the patio and soak in the views of the rustling aspens as you sip coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. Also noteworthy: these units face the East and only get gentle morning sun so the place never gets hot. This is especially important in the summer bc no properties in Breck have air conditioners. It can get really hot in the units facing the west. Also noteworthy: many units not facing the east overlook a busy-ish street which can be really awful with all the noise (lots of loud trucks all day and even into the night) and the smell of exhaust. But again— you must keep your windows open bc there is no AC. This makes for a miserable experience. 2) do not get a loft unit. Ever. The loft is the bedroom no windows, which means you will suffer a horrible heat when trying to sleep, summer or winter. There will be a skylight but no screen so opening it could allow unwanted critters. You’re in the mountains after all. The single story units (non-loft) have screens on all windows. 3) Stay off the ground floor if possible. This reduces the noise level and allows for a much better view of the river and beautiful trees. The river facing units are not to be missed, but the street level doesn’t provide the same experience. Still, ALWAYS choose river facing. Even street level is great, especially compared to the non-river facing units that face the street or the parking lot. 4) Do not believe the images you see on the hotel websites bc they are often not images of the actual unit you think you are renting. To be safe, always contact the property directly to confirm you are getting the room/amenities you want. 2)

In the early hours of the morning, I couldn't sleep for a few hours. I chose the cheapest hotel that can pick up and drop off the plane. There is no high expectation. After staying, I feel pretty good, clean, quiet, and delivered at 3:00 in the middle of the night, satisfied.
