Dogo Prince Hotel

We wanted to experience Dogo Onsen and this was a great choice (albeit expensive because it was a holiday weekend). The hotel is lovely and the service is beyond excellent. The staff was super kind as we are English speakers. Plus, we really enjoyed the hotels onsens better than the ones in town (the Dogo Onsen is being renovated and only one room was open for each gender; the same was the case with the Annex). The hotels onsens were lovely and the private outdoor onsen was a really lovely experience. We also took advantage of their convenient bus service into town although it’s only a 10 minute walk and we walked multiple times. Highly recommend!

Behind Dogo Onsen, it's easy to find the location. The breakfast buffet is very rich, including sashimi and seasonal fruits. One portion per person for dinner is not bad and the service is good, There are not many hot spring pools, but they are fully equipped. Only because it was cold outside and there was only heating in the room, it was a bit hot and toasty. There was no air conditioning in the room, only hot air.

It is an old hotel in Dogo Onsen and has hosted members of the Japanese royal family. It is said that my friend worked here when he was studying in Matsuyama. The service is impeccable, valet parking, late breakfast is delivered to the room on time, and the room attendants are very proactive and enthusiastic

Attention Henro sama! Perfect stay almost across street from T49. I had walked that day from T46. Onsen use included with hotel stay. Onsen water hot and alkaline slimy, my legs feel so much better after an evening and a morning soak.  Breakfast was of wide selection, very satisfying. Stand up shower stall a bonus! Drip coffee machine in room also a nice touch. Very smart, modern hotel.
Hotel Route Inn Imabari

nice hotel, great amenities. There was a problem with my booking and it seemed that they said it was my fault. I don’t how it could be but they took the position it was me who had to fix it. Also there doesn’t seem to be a consistent hotel policy for travellers with bicycles. I stayed at there different Route Inn and tow it was no problem but this one it was. still a very nice stay.

Conveniently located near the interchange, with Aeon, Starbucks, and Joyful nearby. The hotel is new and clean, both the front desk and the room. I was surprised at the size of the LCD TV. I was able to connect to YouTube and log in with my Hulu account, and the free Wi-Fi in the building was stress-free, fast, and very comfortable. The large public bath on the first floor was also clean, spacious, and comfortable. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

The hotel is right next to the hot spring. It is convenient for sightseeing in and out of Songshan City. The hotel facilities are clean and comfortable. I will stay here again!
Dormy Inn Matsuyama Natural Hot Spring

The location is convenient, there are many restaurants around, and it takes 1 or 2 minutes to walk to the tram station. There is a shopping street downstairs, and you can go to Matsuyama Castle by crossing the street. The hotel is very good except for the flat pillows! It’s just that I ate too much for dinner every night and didn’t have the chance to enjoy the hotel’s free ramen. Next time I have the chance to visit Songshan, I will definitely stay here again!
Old England Dogo Yamanote Hotel

This hotel is located near Dogo Onsen. Although you need to climb uphill for a while, this small inconvenience is completely made up for by the excellent hot spring facilities. The hotel's hot spring facilities are complete, the environment is clean and comfortable, and you can completely relax. From the warm reception of the service staff to the careful settings in the room, everyone feels at home. If you are looking for a truly relaxing hot spring trip, this is recommended

The place to go to try Japanese fine dining, kaiseki. I was grateful for the kaiseki throughout my stay, and the hot springs were clean and nice. Room conditions will vary depending on the price, but overall it seemed like an old facility, but it felt like a really neat model of traditional Japanese lodging. The location is reasonably quiet and close to Dogo Onsen Station.
