Has a great stay and will be back. The hotel is conveniently situated on top of the shopping mall and next to train station. Parking is just in b1 and the hotel will give you discount when parking in b1 which cost only 1.000 yen for overnight parking. The room is nice and super comfy to stay. The staffs are all so attentive and friendly.

I recently stayed at a wonderful hotel in Aso, and it was an unforgettable experience. The location is absolutely stunning—nestled in the heart of Aso’s beautiful nature, with breathtaking views right from the room. The hotel’s onsen was a highlight, offering a relaxing and peaceful way to soak in the scenery. The food was also incredible, with delicious local dishes that really captured the flavors of the region. The vibes throughout the hotel were warm and cozy, making it feel like a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle. The only downside was that the bed was a bit small for two people, so it felt a little tight. But everything else more than made up for it. The hotel also offers plenty of parking, so getting around was easy. The price was definitely reasonable for the experience, and given the amazing views, great food, and tranquil onsen, it felt like a great value. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the beauty of Aso!

Great location, close to main bus terminal snd shopping district.  Friendly staffs and was anle to offer luggage storage pre/post check in/out.  Onsite hot springs was so nice and relaxing, with complimentary yogurt drinks and ice cream after the bath.  Room was clean and quite spacious.  Definitely will stay again

The hotel is quite large, with three public hot springs, recreational facilities, and breakfast and dinner buffets with local characteristics and good quality. The room is Japanese tatami, which is quite spacious for a family. It is about 10 minutes' walk from Aso Station, and it is very convenient to take the bus to Mount Aso.

The hotel is located slightly off the beaten track, and the transportation is not very convenient. However, the transportation in Kumamoto itself is not very convenient. It takes a long time to walk to find a convenience store downstairs. The room is of moderate size, the hotel service is very good, and the price is very affordable, just over 300 on weekends, and it was only over 900 for three nights. There is an artificial hot spring on the 3rd floor of the hotel, which is actually a large bathhouse. It is said to have the effect of relieving back pain, shoulder pain, etc. The environment is not bad. After a day of playing, it is very refreshing to go back to the hotel and soak in the hot spring. It is recommended not to take a bath in the room, as the bathroom is a bit small. Overall, if you can continue to live here at this price, it is very good. If the price is higher, it is not recommended.

A lovely hotel to stay in close to Kumamoto Castle. The rooms are nice and clean with friendly staff who are very helpful. Bath areas on the 12th floor are also quite nice and have a range of offerings inside. Breakfast was included with the price we paid, however, all the food was a little tasteless, if paying for breakfast, it is easy to go downstairs and get something but I’d probably go somewhere else if paying.

I stayed at this hotel twice. The second time (this booking) we had a room on the older (?) wing and it was almost twice the size of the first one. So for this review I will only share feedback on this “older” room. This room was big and thus good for us as we had 2 large luggage and more space in the room allowed us to open and pack our luggages with ease. The bathroom was large with the large traditional bathtub. Toilet had bidet and etc but lacked heating which made it very cold in the winter. Basin tap was still the old turn types which was not eco friendly as it’s more difficult to shut it off. Location was just opposite the train station which was excellent. But the nearest convenience store is also only at the train station which is about a 5-7mins walk away. Breakfast was curated to suit the Japanese palette more and ends at 9a.m which is really way too early!! We left something behind in the hotel but they managed to send the item back to us at our new hotel (still in Japan) which was highly appreciated. Despite a few minor shortcomings listed above, the pros still outweigh the cons and I’ll definitely be happy to stay here again.

The dinner buffet style includes delicious long-legged crab legs, as well as all-you-can-drink hot and cold sake. It takes just over 20 minutes to drive to the Aso Volcano Museum.

The hotel is old, so it's not new, but it's clean. The bath water is really good in Kumamoto. The food was also very delicious. For smokers, the lights in the smoking room are turned off at around 12 o'clock, so you have to smoke in the dark. My partner said that it would be better if the lights were on here. I don't smoke, so it didn't bother me. The view was nice.

The service provided here is up and beyond. I love that the whole set up gives not only space for people to mingle, also proper work space to have your alone time if you need it. A beautiful kitchen set up as well, I felt very safe and clean staying here. It was my first time using a kotatsu table too, a dream come true. I listened to some cd displayed for anyone to listen on a headphone. So much fun. The location is perfect too, super close to Aso Station, where we get to everywhere.

The guy at the front desk was very nice and could speak Chinese. It was very close to Mizusenji Temple and they gave me discount coupons. Opposite was 711 and next to it was a large supermarket with a wide variety of food. You can buy some to take with you to a picnic under the cherry blossoms.

Although there is no elevator, the clerk super nice helped us to send it to the room ～ 2. When checking in, you will choose dinner and breakfast time. According to the time, you can arrange the hot spring ♨️ time reasonably! 3. Dinner is relatively simple, you can choose your favorite from the package provided; breakfast is also quite satisfactory. Compared with the hot spring hotel of 2000 per person per night, the overall price is full, and the door is an oversized family, we also like convenience store food! 4. We chose the hot spring after dinner ♨️ You can take it if you have not been taken away in the hot spring key box at the front desk. It is limited to one hour (but we will not be able to do it in 20 minutes, hahahahaha). Change to a bathrobe and go to ♨️, the three of us make a soup, the space is completely OK. There are even two soups indoor and outdoor ～ 5. In the surprise link, my friend saw the favorite Gundam in the store, and he couldn't move his footsteps for a long time. After being seen by the beautiful and kind clerk sister, she asked her to choose the favorite as a gift to take away 🥹. I was so touched. (Reminds me of watching bags in the window of Dubai counter, the news of bags being sent by local tyrants...) All in all, I have soaked a few Japanese soups, but the previous ones are relatively high-end and expensive. I will not have psychological deviations for this house at all, and I am even very warm. I would like to call it the king of cost-effectiveness. ～ is the level I am willing to go again! 👍

I also really liked the hot springs ♨️. Both the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Both dinner and breakfast had a wide variety of dishes and were delicious! On New Year's Day, they even served zenzai and kinako mochi. After checking out, we got a free ticket to the nearby bathhouse (Agannasse), where we enjoyed the open-air bath and rock sauna until after 3pm. I went with my daughter, and she also said it was a nice change of pace and she really enjoyed it. 😊

One of the best onsen hotels we have ever stayed at. The room was spacious, featuring three basins and two restrooms—plenty of space for three adults. The hotel is surrounded by trees and flowers, creating a beautiful and peaceful environment. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, with many options to choose from. We were so happy with our stay at this hotel!

This hotel is situated on a spacious property, secluded from the town center and shops. While it features public baths and an on-site restaurant, The dinner and breakfast offered a delightful blend of Western and Japanese dishes, typical of most Japanese hotels. Our twin room, though a bit compact, provided a comfortable overnight stay. All amenities provided were satisfactory for a one-night stay, leaving no room for complaints. As most establishments in the vicinity close after 5 PM (except for convenience stores), there isn't much to do at the hotel besides enjoying the onsen. Therefore, be prepared for an early night in.

The hotel is located near Aso Volcano, which is very good for self-tourists. The hotel's breakfast and dinner are very good. There is an all-you-can-drink buffet barbecue for dinner. There are many kinds of food. The A4 Wagyu beef is very delicious and worth a try.

This time to Aso Volcano decided to stay in a more traditional Japanese hotel, of course, can not communicate in English, but can more experience local life is genuinely great, the hot spring is very good

Breakfast and dinner are both provided by the hotel. Dinner is served in a separate room, and breakfast is served in another public room. There is a unique menu for dinner, with staff introducing each dish. There happened to be a few people who knew Chinese when I checked in. The staff introduced it, the dishes were rich, and I was very satisfied. When you have a meal, the staff will go into the room and lay out tatami mattresses. There are no private hot spring baths, there are open-air public baths. There are only two independent indoor hot spring baths for the use of the entire hotel. There are two keys during the period. After the guests return the keys, they can then take them out and use the independent private baths. Fengli, unfortunately there is no reservation service, so I don’t know when other guests will return their keys. 

This Spring Festival, I took my parents to live in this hotel in Kurokawa Onsen. I booked it at the last minute and found that there was a vacant room. I changed to this hotel at the last minute. It was not a wrong choice at all! The service really warmed my heart! Not only was the hotel's hot spring very comfortable! The room reservation included breakfast for three people, free evening drinks, and free pick-up and drop-off service at the station. In addition, before the trip, I contacted the customer service to book a buffet dinner of 400 per person, with fresh sashimi and beef Xiapu Xiapu, which was very suitable for parents! There is also an observatory on the top floor of the hotel, but the weather was too cold and I went too late to observe the stars. It is worth mentioning that! ! My mobile phone was left in the room when I checked out. When I contacted me, I had already arrived in Fukuoka, and even flew back to China from Nagasaki the next morning! The hotel was very considerate and efficient. It contacted the Kuroneko Express to help me deliver it to the hotel in Nagasaki immediately! It was still free! ! Very considerate and touching!

The hotel is located at the centre of 黑川溫泉區, which is quite rural so highly recommended to go by car. The service is excellent! The staff helped us to park the car and take the luggages up the stairs to our Japanese style family room. We have ordered full board package and both meals are gorgeous. There are many onsens in the hotel which are non-reserved and private, allowing family to enjoy onsen together. One drawback is that there are many stairs so elderly might have to take it into consideration.

This hotel is a standard Japanese inn. The whole room is about 100 square meters, with a bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom and private soup room. According to the administrator, the room can accommodate up to five people. The kitchen can cook by yourself. There are microwave ovens, induction cookers, coffee machines, pots and pans. The bus arrives, and it is only 90 meters away from Menglongdan. You can go in and contact the waiter. There will be a van to take you to Menglongdan Huabo. The distance between the two sides is very close. There are cars to take you to dinner time and bathing in the evening. Breakfast and dinner are kaiseki cuisine, with many varieties, which is worth experiencing. I wrote so much mainly because I asked Ctrip before. The so-called AI knows nothing about anything. Family baths are not very big, it is comfortable for two people, if there are three or four of you - it will be cramped. From the ryokan we were driven by car to the bus stop, which was very convenient considering our heavy suitcases.

For some reason, the information about this hotel is so limited on Ctrip. If you want to choose a room with indoor and outdoor private hot springs, this is a great choice. The first floor has two private hot springs inside and outside, which are very elegant. There is also a massage chair and a bathroom. There is also a large room on the first floor with a private hot spring, which should be a more comfortable choice for living. I want to complain to Ctrip about the food. I have replied in the final confirmation email of the reservation that I do not eat horse, beef and mutton, but I found that I did not receive any information from Ctrip when I arrived at the store. I could only temporarily change to tofu and duck meat, which affected the experience. It rained heavily on the day of check-out. The staff did not hold an umbrella themselves but carried our luggage and held an umbrella for us in the heavy rain. This professional attitude deserves praise. We went on a family trip and stayed at Dream Dragon on the coldest day during the Spring Festival. I stayed here once more than 5 years ago and was very impressed. It is a pure Japanese style, and the dinner and breakfast are so rich that you can't help but lean on the wall. The surrounding scenery is beautiful and quiet, and the water quality of the hot spring is excellent, but remember to bring towels from the room, there are no towels in the hot spring. The snacks are delicious. The puffs and coffee shops in Kurokawa Town are very good. There are century-old shops everywhere. It is a quaint place.

We are a couple from Australia and I only speak a little Japanese. This was a truly AMAZING experience! The staff were so kind and friendly, giving us assistance was no issue for them. The location is stunning, the private onsen was glorious and the dinners and breakfasts were bigger than we could possibly eat (and we love our food). The price point for this experience was so good - fantastic value for money. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a little adventure in the heart of countryside Japan. If you get the chance to also visit Minamiaso (they will take you there at no extra charge) for the day, grab some e-bikes and have a ride around- take in the beautiful scenery and wonderful food options.

Last week, I stayed at Kurowakaso for one night~~! First of all, I really, really recommend it👍🏻 Go there a hundred, ten thousand, and a thousand and five hundred times!! The staff are very kind, and the hot spring facilities and room condition are the best! I was able to try on traditional Japanese clothes, and the food was especially the best! The food was really good, and they gave me so much food that I almost burst😂 I was lucky that my group and I were the only ones in the family bath and large bath, so I took pictures, but the hot spring for guests only is also amazing! It was a good memory~ A lot of Korean tourists are going to Kumamoto these days, so if you're thinking about visiting a hot spring, I recommend this place👻 (By the way, there's a staff member who speaks Korean really well♡)

What a perfect service with nice and kind owners. The owner can pick you up at the bus stop for free if you want. The price of stay was cheap and reasonable and they provide you with Japanese traditional style meal with reasonable prices as well. I would recommend this Ryokan. I wish I could visit this again.
