Hot spring Hotels in Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan

Was a short overnight stay for us but overall pretty impressive. We arrived late on a raining night so did not have the chance to explore the outdoor area much, but the indoor area was very nice to experience. The breakfast is a must try, venue is very classy and the food variety is great.

Surprising good Hotel for an ”Inn”. Although it's self service check in but their staff stood by me all the way to make sure I had no questions.

It's about 20-30min drive into Miyazaki town but thats not the main reason why you'd choose this Hotel. It's right by the Sea with so much activities that it's one of the places we wished we stayed an extra day. The Hotel is massive and due to the design, it looks like each room will have a good-excellent sea view. Come in the Summer and enjoy the activities and the surrounding areas.

Truly fantastic place to stay, the amenities for the cost of staying even in obon is off the chain! This place has it all, a spa which is free, mini golf, a playable piano, great rooms, free drinks including beer! The list goes on. Would fully recommend this place to anyone. However and this wasn’t a problem for me until after the fact, but if you have tattoos you may be disappointed. This is not something that is stated anywhere in their advertisement of the hotel until you get there, thankfully I could use the spa, but it’s definitely something that you should be aware of to avoid disappointment. Other than this. The place is great, the staff are friendly and put in a ton of work to keep it as nice as it is. Me and my partner agree this is a 4.6/5!

Location, parking facility, room cleanliness, breakfast etc everything was almost perfect. Especially this hotel has indoor onsen bath which is a big plus. One thing I like to note is that they use the electronic key system on the door of every room and they provide hotel-issued password printed on the paper. The number combination is 6 digit so it is not easy to memorize. Therefore you have to always carry your pwd paper with you and if you forget it someone can always open your room easily. I think hotel needs to let the customer choose their own password combination, so that they do not have to carry the piece of paper.

The price of about 400 yuan also includes a breakfast and a hot spring, which is simply the best value for money! There are hot springs both indoors and outdoors, which are particularly comfortable after soaking; There is a rest area dedicated to reading comics on the first floor. There are several wall cabinets with rich comics. The view outside the room window is also very good. You can walk to Aoshima Shrine and the bus stop to Nichinan is not far away. I will come again next time!

This Hotel is famous for the tourist but the building is a bit old. Their toilet has old bidet, it’s hard to operate. They have old fashioned key, don’t be confused. But when it comes to service ill give them 5⭐️they are very helpful and polite staff.

I stayed in a dormitory for 2 nights. Perhaps because it was a weekday, there were only two people in the dormitory. It was nice to take a walk around the hotel and there was a supermarket nearby. I took the train to downtown Miyazaki and it cost about 380 yen. I think it would be good for those planning a trip to the south. Take care everyone~

It was the first time for a group of 4 of us to travel to Takachiho. A friend strongly recommended that we stay at ”Shenxian”, so we booked 2 rooms. We were greeted by parking attendants, explained the room, and made reservations for dinner and breakfast. The receptionists were very nice. They are considerate and have good English skills. The rooms are clean and the hot spring ♨️ water is super good. Dinner and breakfast are fresh and delicious. We will stay at this hot spring hotel again and recommend it to our friends.

Great view for the sea view room. Private onsen not very convenient if us a raining day cause need to walk out if the building. As we came back late a bit late and most local restaurant need to book in advance. The hotel is kind to help us to reserve a table for us. The restaurant actually was full but the room was big enough to share a table with the local.

My mother and sister live in a room (public soup) and my husband and I live in the same room (private soup), the room is large and comfortable, the food is medium, the female public soup is okay at night, the outdoor is not open in the morning only indoors, a bit of a waste of scenery; the private soup is 9 in the morning ：There is no hot water at 30. If you want to hurry up after breakfast at 10:00, check out before soaking for 10mins.

The hotel is located close to the bus terminal and it is a 7-minute walk to arrive, but the lady boss said that she could send her a car to pick her up! After we checked in, we went to dinner. The lady boss called us to reserve a table beforehand, and then took us to the restaurant by car, and asked the restaurant to call her after our meal and send a car to pick us up to the hotel; because the next day was a weekday, there was no circulating bus After visiting various tourist areas, she arranged a car to take us to Takachiho Gorge, and asked us to walk into a product store there after completing the trip to find the person in charge to call her and send a car to pick us up to the next tourist spot ~ the small train station, and it will be free during the period. It’s really heartwarming to help us prepare a bamboo leaf rice ball for each of us! ! Very friendly and friendly proprietress, of course she drove us to the bus terminal when we finally left the hotel! 😁 The room size is relatively small, there is no problem for 2 people, and it is a little crowded for 3 people! There are small desserts in the room! There is a separate toilet but no separate bathroom, but the hotel has a small hot spring where you can take a shower by the way! The breakfast is a Japanese breakfast, very delicious, and a staff member sings Japanese songs for entertainment! The hotel is not big, it looks a bit like a homestay, but the enthusiasm of the proprietress is full of warmth, making everything unimportant, not a problem, it deserves full marks! ! 👍🏼
