Hotels With Airport pickup service in Surat Thani Province, Thailand

Just stopped for one night during a road trip down south, very good value, I had read reviews were people had complained about the lifts, we had.no problems, perhaps they've resolved any issues, this is a budget hotel and as such don't expect 4star quality, room bedding shower all clean, fridge and kettle 👍 Only problem I had was they didn't accept cash at the snack/drinks counter, i find that particularly annoying for any business, but hey my girlfriend paid with her phone, win for me I suppose 🤣 good location and plenty of paring spaces

We stayed here to be close to the airport, so location was not great. Really your quite in trouble if your hungry, so make sure to hit up the surrounding malls before they close at 9pm. Or your only option will be 711 (which isn’t terrible!?) We were reluctant to stay here after a bad experience with B2 Ao Nang. But this one was MUCH better ran!! Cleaner , and the staff was so wonderful! It is a great bang for your buck. Would definitely stay here again. Only wish they had a gym!

This hotel is in a very good location , the room is clean , but 2 disadvantages, 1. A lot of mosquitoes . 2. The company in the reception floor is a scam , don’t book through them. We booked a taxi for the airport , no one came , and only the reception was there to help us. At the end the taxi didn’t arrive after more than 20 minutes so we booked through grab. I would stay there again , but just notice that

This hotel is great if you want a quieter area of Samui but right by the beach (the longest on the island). Staff are polite, friendly and helpful, breakfast is ample and the pool(s) area with bar/restaurant is simply wonderful. I left some items behind by mistake and contacted the hotel and of course I had to pay but they were very efficient in organising their return to me in China. Hope to see you again! I was placed in a room that overlooked the staff entrance so had the noise of them chatting on breaks and coming and going on their scooters so was a bit noisy. The phone in the room wasn’t connected, so just a prop I guess? The fridge defrosted and stopped working. They replaced this but with a European plug (using my only adaptor). Turns out that the plug port had blown so I had to lose some food and find another socket in the room (could not supply me with a replacement adaptor). The teaspoon was dirty and I had to ask to have a tv provided. The shower wouldn’t work hot. The pressure of the hot water wasn’t enough to keep the valve to feed the shower, open. On arrival I used the “luggage storage” which was just an area where everyone dumped their luggage (open plan next to reception) when I came back to check in, my rucksack wasn’t there. It was erroneously taken with another guests luggage. My passport and cash/cards were enclosed so luckily they managed to locate it. The hotel is a bit dilapidated and needs attention. Overall the staff are great and hard workers, the owner clearly lets the place down.

For the price point, this location is really clean! Just that we arrived late at night and the counter lady had limited English command, so I had a bit of issue as I couldn’t get more info. But when I came down to get my grab food, I met with a gentleman who was very kind to show me all the complimentary items available 24/7 (like juice and drinks). If I have to have another stopover at Surat Thani, I’ll be back. Breakfast was provided too! Parking is available at the premises.

The location is a BIG advantage of this hotel - just steps away from the walking street, night market, convenience stores, etc., and of course the bus ticketing office to Koh Samui. The staff also greeted me with a warm welcome. The room itself is more than decent but I’d love to have a kettle & hairdryer in the room.

The room is clean, spacious and big, not cramped. The room is clean, has windows, curtains, a TV, a balcony, and the bathroom is clean, with dry and wet zones. This time I stayed for five nights. The maid comes to clean every day and provides drinking water, soap, shampoo and tissue every day. In the morning, there is toast downstairs with hot coffee.

CENTARA life, Koh Samui, Lamai Gleich vorweg: Das Centara Life ist m. E. kein Urlaubshotel, eher ein Business-/Wochenendhotel … ich hatte mich auf ein CENTARA-Hotel gefreut, aber:  Nicht überall wo CENTARA drauf steht ist auch CENTARA drin … es ist irgendwie ein völlig neues Hotelkonzept, Positionierung zwischen „high class“ und „normal class“  … Zimmer dicht an dicht, Balkon einer neben dem anderen, getrennt mit einer dünnen Holzwand … 4 Stockwerke hoch … damit sehr viele Zimmer, die aber sind überraschend groß, sauber und äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichtet … Ich habe ein Zimmer mit großzügigen Balkon … jetzt das ABER: die Aussicht hat nichts mit grüner Natur der Insel geschweige türkisfarbenen Wasser zu tun, ich blicke auf einen Parkplatz, einen großen Strommasten und auf die Dächer von unzähligen Häusern/Hütten … einige von denen wandeln sich abends zu lauten Sport-Bars und Kneipen um … lautes Gedröhne von nah und fern bis weit in die Nacht, nein - bis in den nächsten Morgen … abends sitze ich mit Oropax auf meinem Balkon und versuche zu lesen… trotzdem dröhnt es … im Restaurant des Hotels ist dagegen nichts los … nur gut, dass ich nicht auch noch die vom Reiseveranstalter angebotene Halbpension gebucht habe … der Swimmingpool - klein aber fein … 15 Liegen finden Platz … der tolle Strand von Lamai ist fussläufig in  10 Minuten erreicht.  Unterm Strich: das CENTARA life ist ein modernes Hotel, gehobene Ausstattung, große Zimmer und ich treffe auf ein durch und durch kompetentes Personal; die Umgebung ist sehr laut, ist schrill, lädt zu einem „Massage- und/oder Bier-Marathon“ ein - promenieren, gemütliches Laufen in der in nur ein paar Schritten entfernten Hauptstraße ist ab 19:00 nicht möglich - dicht gedrängter Verkehr inmitten lauter Musik-Bars, Souvenir-Shops und Thai-Restaurants …

Hotel location is a bit awkward. It is not on the main street but hidden inside. We got lost first time finding it. Also to reach to beach, cannot to straight from hotel. Need to go very long way to reach access lane to beach as the beach is almost fully covered by Luxury Resort hotel beach front. Room location is also a bit awkward. First enter building A and pass over bridge to enter building B. There is no straight enterance/exist for Building B. AC is not properly working for our room that day although we adjusted several mode. Will not be staying that hotel next time in Koh Samui.

This property was better than expected. We booked last minute for one night only. It’s older but seems to be maintained for the most part. Don’t expect 5 stars. The room had a skylight, tub and comfortable bed. It’s a bit out of the main beach area in north Chewang so having a scooter is very useful. The property is built on a hill so it’s quite a steep walk up. The views from the top ocean view rooms are nice and the property is covered in lush greenery. The pool is a nice amenity. The staff are friendly and helpful. We would stay again if needed.

Stayed at the beach front villa with direct access to the beach . It’s the best type of accommodation of all the rooms that the hotel offer. The staff really takes care of the beach. They smoothen the sand out and clean the beaches every morning. You wake up to a clean litter free beach. That’s really the bonus. However being so close to the beach, there is always people sitting infront of the villa. Less privacy and distracting the view. There is a block of water right at the steps before you enter the villa. That’s a very nice touch to clean and wash off sand before going into the villa and avoid too much sand in the room. Another good bonus. Another nice touch, clean towels were provided after every two days The front porch was good to hang out and chill. It was also good pls to dry wet cloths as there is not enough hooks and hangers. We were happy the villa comes with a bath tub. In general the entire villa is a lil rustic but it’s clean and still good condition The location is away from the noisy street which was good but it also means there is only a few restaurant/ shops option nearby. It still works for a short beach getaway. The water is pretty calm and shallow. Not much to see during snorkeling but it’s still fun to see fishes. The view of the beach at night is pretty and has a touch of Italy with all the lights on the hill. Overall a good experience and lovely stay

I really liked the hotel. It was quiet, the room and balcony were spacious, the staff were friendly and the general atmosphere was very good. My one criticism is that the dividers between the balconies don’t fully cover the space between the balconies. It would be better for privacy and noise control if there was a dividing wall between them. Overall, I would stay again and I recommend this hotel.

Absolutely our favorite hotel we stayed at on our trip! Everyone was so nice! Next time we go back we will get the Jacuzzi suite. We loved the pool suite but it was not heated. The bed was soooppp comfortable it was like sleeping on a cloud. The shower was great and the privacy of the porch was great. Overall we can't wait to stay at the Sarann again!

hotel well located in the city center, with elevator. large room. double bed of 130-140cm, a little small for 2. a little old but very good for the price. blanket much too small for the bed..

I like the ambiance of the hotel.. the bathtub feels refreshing after a long holiday. I will surely go back to this hotel.

Hotel is clean and well located, it has a confortable lobby with some free snacks and coffee. Rooms and bathroom are small but confortable with small balcony, the city view is not good. Not leisure at all but useful for short stay on it and the price is also great.

Only stayed for one night. The room was spacious..you can tell it’s not new n the design/ furniture gives dormitory. The ac worked well n there were sockets next to our beds so we can charge our phones..Water pressure very high ( which we loved). No toothbrush provided…Maybe there was a pet shop downstairs, but for the whole night there was animal sounds. Awwm 🤔 7/11 and transport bus station close by ( so u can schedule bus to the islands). Helpful staff.

This place on arrival was quite messy with old furniture items in the walkways to the rooms in sections Hot water was hit a miss and outdoor shower was out of order in general items not maintained well I was allocated a room on the third floor however requested a room downstairs and after quite a bit of time it was allocated - the next day I found out they had a lift, so could not understand why on checking in I wasn't told about it, even when stating my reason for changing room was I didn't want to walk up 3 flights of stairs no mention of lift - this would have saved the drama I was not impressed at the beginning and the girl at reception was lovely however stated that she couldn't do much as I was uncertain the hotel was clean given the state of the hotel in parts I saw - the lovely girl call the Manager and was told if I wanted a refund to contact Agoda even though my booking was not with them however - the Manager who was on the phone, refused to speak with me a paying customer - any person who runs a hotel in that position should speak with a customer - this quickly told me why the hotel was poorly run with a Manager who couldn't even try and resolve certain issues I had - I wasn't after a refund, infact I asked to pay for an upgrade but there wasn't one available - that was ok but it's not ok for a Manager to treat a customer like she did - very poor example for her staff The breakfast was nice and if it wasn't for the staff being so nice, it made things nice and hotel was ok

I stayed at their hostel room only because there was no other option as the island was fully booked. Pools looked nice, the breakfast view was fantastic, staff were nice. The dorm situation was just uncomfortable, as there was zero privacy. The shower/toilet was very tiny. The blanket they give at check-in was very weird and without a sheet, but very clean.

Incredible stay, an ideal place, the views were beautiful and we believe we have stayed on one of the best beaches on the island. A very positive point is that the transfer from the pier to the hotel and vice versa is free. The atmosphere is also very calm and cozy, they have good food and the workers have been very friendly at all times.

We had an amazing stay at Villa ChaCha. Location was excellent, very close to a number of lovely restaurants on the beach. The accommodation itself is about a 2 minute walk to the beach (which was great for swimming!) The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only criticism I have is that our room was not serviced for almost 2 days. After having reminded them, they serviced it 👌The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The massages right on the beach were amazing and well-priced. This part of the island is truly magical. We stayed more in the south of the island after being at Villa ChaCha and it was a complete different vibe with more noise, tourists and crowded beaches. I would recommend Villa ChaCha to anyone who wants a relaxing, quiet getaway.

For some reason at the time they didn’t have any one at the front desk of this place but there are a few other places that are linked to this “Simple Life” brand. The room was alright, but this is definitely on the lower end in terms of luxury (it’s reflected in the price though).

Very nice room and lovely swimming pool, however I didn’t like the fact that being on the ground floor, anybody using the pool had a direct view inside the room and there were only thick curtains, so you’d have to either pull the curtains and not enjoy the natural light, or give up your privacy and let everyone outside be able to see whatever you’re doing. It would seem sensible to add a set of light curtains.

Big swimming pool and big rooms. 10 minute walk to the beach. Really good breakfast!!! Only one key card allowed and air conditioning takes a long time to cool the large room. No cable tv only free internet tv. Expensive during the full moon but better than sleeping on the beach.

The location is ok, it's not far from the beach, but far enough away from the bars to reduce that particular noise at night. However, it is near a significant amount of construction, and on the main street, so it gets quite loud. The walls are also very thin, so you heard all the noise of your neighbors, every door slamming in the hallway, and everyone noisily going to/leaving their rooms. The rooms without AC are almost unbearable... It was so hot and miserable, and only has one tiny ceiling fan (which you aren't able to control the direction of), that we decided to change accomodation after one night. Luckily, we were able to find a similar accomodation, right on the beach, with AC, for half the price. The staff were very friendly/helpful (probably the best aspect about the hotel), and the property is well taken care of). However, overall it just wasn't worth the price, especially given that we switched to something better, while also paying half as much. If it's the only or the cheapest option available, and you don't mind noise, and can get an AC room, then it's fine. But personally, there are better places for the price.

The hotel is located very close to the center of Thong Sala and the market is nearby, so it is crowded. There is a 7/11 and a laundry nearby, so it will be ok for a short stop. We lived in a room with a shared balcony, but it is very dark, it is impossible to read anything, you need to open the door and window, but then you will see what is happening in the room opposite, because the buildings are very close. There is no ventilation in the bathroom at all, so it stinks. With the current prices on Koh Phangan, you can't complain about the hotel, it has been neat for a long time, there is a good pool that is cleaned. Cleaning but shelter on request.

This is not the first time we stayed here, last time in a small house near the sea and this time in a building. We were upgraded for free, which is nice. The rooms are excellent, no worse than the houses.
