Hotel Terme Roma

Good location and good service

Stayed at Roma Terme with friends on a Rad Reisen cycling holiday, the hotel was a base from which the delights of the Euganean Hills National Park could be discovered. We approached by Taxi from the airport as our driver, whom we had pre booked explained, how he ‘expected we would be older’ which was nice, but raised some trepidation, it seems Abano is a long retired Italians destination of choice, consequently the Roma-Terme is a traditional Italian Hotel, its approach and its features are delightful, the rooms spacious and quaint, the pools lack modern feature but were always warm to enter on each level, the lower pool becomes busy but the view from the roof is quite lovely, albeit exposing some of Abano Terme’s ‘stanco’ history for those who care to be interested. Breakfast is ample, the Maitre D’ is Very visible, we were the only UK residents it seems, in Abano, but our cycling companions (Dutch and Swiss) whilst similarly intrigued, were very open, friendly, and welcoming, The bar was lightly stocked but sufficient, and dining was a unique experience; whilst the menu shone, delivery lacked, and consequently we found a selection of exquisite dining experiences within a short amble. Do experience OM (Osterie Meccaniche) and Italia Steakhouse, both highlights of our stay, and Bar American Bar, which became our go-to snack venue. We did not sample the Spa or its therapies, and Robes at breakfast remain ‘marmite’ to many albeit quite strongly defining the atmosphere of this location. On balance, this is a definite ‘return to’ destination from which it should be straightforward for most to derive a unique Italian experience…

A perfect hotel only found on the web and it has completely satisfied me.A very competent staff,an excellent restaurant (thanks to Ivan) and a very good health center (thanks to Lorella) make the hotel at the top ranking.I used only the roof pool but perfect for my need.Thank you for making feel like at home.

We liked the personal staff. Very kind and helpfull. The food was very good , generous and tasty. Very good location. It was a very hot and the air conditioner in the room was not cooling enough .At the restaurant and massage room there was no Air Conditioner at all.

We stayed in the hotel terme roma this hotel is a 4* we had the most amazing time despite NOT being able to access the pools or sauna / treatments as these were not wheelchair accessible. The food was amazing they have a themed night each night . The staff provided more than 5* service nothing was to much trouble they went over and beyond to make sure we had a amazing holiday . We stayed in room 112 mini suit because the wheelchair accessible rooms overlooking the car park my husband had a aliagy to car fumes so the hotel upgraded use free of charge . The views of the square were stunning at night .lots of music , dancing just a few minits walk away . Hotel furniture a bit dated but fits in with the themed hotel. So don't expect glamer . The staff do not speak much English and menues in dining room are in italion but google translate works perfect . My only criticism is the hotel needs to put in its description that the swimming pools and sauna / treatment spars are not accessible to a wheelchair user , and the dining area needs to have a table that the wheelchair will fit under so you are close to the table when eating . It was difficult eating when not being able to get close to the table. And some of the salid bars at lunch time are not accessible they are to high so could not see what was in the dishes . But I have to say the staff made up for the things I was not able to use with there outstanding service we will be back to stay again next year .

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, my experience was extremely unpleasant. The room I was assigned was swelteringly hot, making it nearly impossible to sleep or relax. With the temperature outside reaching a scorching 39 degrees Celsius, the room felt like a stifling 35 degrees. It was evident that the hotel was aware of the inadequate air conditioning as the provided blankets were as thin as bedsheets, providing no warmth whatsoever. When I approached the staff and requested a different room with a functioning AC, I was disappointed to find that the situation was no different. The lack of action taken by the hotel to address this issue was disheartening. It’s clear that they were aware of the problem but failed to provide a suitable solution. Considering the uncomfortable conditions and the hotel’s disregard for guest comfort, I strongly advise against choosing this establishment for your stay. Save your money and seek out a more accommodating hotel that prioritizes guest comfort and provides proper amenities.
