The Abbeyleix Manor Hotel

Stayed at this lovely friendly hotel on Sunday night, was on my way home from a meeting in Waterford and decided to stay the night as I was off my feet, I looked for a single room with breakfast, they had no single but gave me a double at no extra cost, the room was very spacious and very clean, nice firm bed, great nights sleep, breakfast was brilliant, piping hot and served by a very friendly waitress. hotel itself is very nice but could with a bit of a face lift but that's only my opinion, the hotel works very well as is. would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to have a comfortable, quiet stay.

We had such a lovely experience at Abbeyleix Manor. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the food was lovely and Polly’s is a real treasure. We were here for a family wedding in the area and everyone had a great time! The hotel has a really warm and welcoming atmosphere.

We stayed here recently. We had bed and breakfast booked and had dinner in the bar. Our room was warm and comfortable leading to a good night's sleep. Dinner was very nice and the young lady on bar duty was very friendly and pleasant. Breakfast had a large selection with the same girl greeting us. We would definitely recommend this hotel

The friendly and helpful staff couldn't do enough for us. The hotel is homely and comfortable. A lovely parlour style reception with cozy stove fire. Beds were so snug I feel like asking what type of mattress they have! lol Just had the breakfast which is order to table and it was fresh and delicious were all fully satisfied. Visiting the small quaint town last nite. There 2 pubs, Morrissey's had great unique character in its style. Bennys was my husband's dream come true, an original old country pub with every sport playing on the TVs. Jade palace Chinese was the drunken take away if choice and it didnt disappoint. Absolutely Yum. There's tourist leaflets for trips in the reception that you can enjoy day out with family. Reccemend for romantic nite out or an adventure family break.

Manor House Hotel in Abbeyleix is just a beautiful hotel. The building is lovely and is about a 10 minute walk to the town. The Hotel is spotless and the rooms are spacious with lovely furniture. The staff are so nice and friendly. Food is beautiful and freshly cooked to order. We will definitely return and are already looking forward to our return.

Nice little place with welcoming friendly staff. It is a bit dated but nice and clean. We Enjoyed our stay. It's a decent place at a reasonable price. The restaurant is good, we ate there twice. Nice comfortable beds, the pillows weren't the best.
