The suite we stayed in was okay but dated and I felt like it was missing a few thing's. Like glasses for the room the mini fridge was empty the hair dryer was broke the shampoo and conditioner wasn't enough for 1 wash. It had a nice bath but no bubble bath to make one. Only given 1 key card so if I left the room I would have to leave the key card in the room so my partner would have light. The lifts was out. We wasn't sure if we could order room service so we didn't. We couldn't book any spa treatments as they were already filled by the time we booked. Robes for the spa wasn't provided. No air con in the room. No femcare provided like bags to dispose of sanitary items of etc and breakfast finished to early at 10am. All these things we normally get for the price we paid and I think if you are going to charge a premium price of £400 for 2 nights I would expect these things provided and I would also expect to be told when booking I wouldn't be able to book any spa facilities. The bed however was very comfy. I must give credit to the staff as they where amazing and the food is gorgeous and worth the price.

The hotel was nicely situated in the countryside, a short distance from the centre of Abergele. The room was well appointed with a decent sized bathroom. I did note that the larger of the two showerheads did not seem to work.. The gym was well equipped and the spa facilities were excellent. The evening meal in the brasserie 1786 was delicious and the service was excellent. Unfortunately, our stay was curtailed as the carer for my partner's 93 year old mother was unable to provide the care needed. Upon check out, we explained the situation which at the time of checkout remained unresolved but this issue was resolved to both parties’ satisfaction after a conversation with the manager.

Recently booked the valentines package. (Which was extremely good value for money) Having stayed at this hotel many times before, I knew we would have a wonderful time. WOW - firstly since we last stayed, they have completely renovated the reception, bar and dining areas and what a stunning job! It feels so plush with all the attention to detail! Secondly, the food! My goodness, there was not a single fault to be found. I went for the Pate, fillet of beef and sticky toffee pudding and honestly it was DIVINE! The restaurant was full and I could hear all the other couples commenting on how beautiful the food was. Last but not least, the team! They really are so attentive, they want to make sure you have absolutely everything you need and nothing is ever too much trouble. In a nutshell - by far and wide the best weekend break away we have had in a long time. 100% recommended

We stayed here for a night with spa use, a treatment, and 3 course meal. Some of the pros included a nice bottle of prosecco in the room, nice breakfast and a reasonably good massage. Some of the cons included quite a small spa facility which was difficult to actually find personal space to relax in. Quite a poor evening meal (though dessert redeemed it a bit!) And the worst attempt at liqueur coffees i have ever tasted, served in a gin glass!? Worth noting that even though your meal is already paid for, you will be expected to pay a service charge after eating. It's hard to recommend this hotel and spa based upon the quality of the experience provided, but we still had a pleasant time overall.

We've been here on a number of occasions now, and never once felt let down, or had poor service. The Oktoberfest event was superb, I'd never been to anything like that before, but the food, drink and entertainment was spot on, already looking forward to this year! 🍺 The spa facilities are lovely, a great addition to a stay, or just a little break in your day, with everything needed to have an enjoyable experience. Food has always been spot on, especially the freshly cooked breakfast, which is rotated under the hot plates enough to not leave any sub-par items resting there. Rooms are very spacious and greatly detailed, we've stayed in one of the suites as a treat, and also for a stay before a family members wedding, again, all spot on! Overall, nothing negative to say at all, and can't wait to come back!

I visited the spa this week with my daughter. Whilst it is a lovely place, the receptionist friendly and welcoming I was left feeling disappointed. The robe bundle we paid extra for was damp and thrown together. Hardly any of the lockers worked. The spa was great however there was far too many people in there so we had to wait to get in the sauna, steam and pool. It didn’t feel tranquil, it felt rushed and aware of others knocking into you etc. Of course the showers and changing room also created a queue of people, it was a nightmare. My treatment was expensive but it was a treat, however this was also rushed, the therapist didn’t speak to me to ask what I wanted etc.. no consultation whatsoever and honestly I felt robbed! Never again. I’ve given 2 stars one for the receptionist and the other for the tranquil room. The rest was spoilt by greed to get as many people in as possible. There are other spa experiences in the area, check those out before you part with your money.

Excellent place, fantastic family run business. Nothing is ever too much trouble and will always go out of their way to accommodate you. The Brasserie & Oak Lounge offer a great choice of food and drinks, always flavoursome and well presented. We visit at least once a week for dinner and drinks and think it is one of the best bars and restaurants in north wales. The spa (Kinspa) is without a doubt the best spa in the area. Been to some fantastic events here too.
