We had a twin room, which was within a courtyard, on B&B basis. The room was a good size and had a microwave, small fridge, iron, ironing board and hairdryer. The ensuite was also a good size with a powerful shower within a cubicle. The beds were very clean and comfortable and had 2 pillows on each! Breakfast can be brought to your room or eaten in the breakfast cabin. You are asked at booking in what you would like for breakfast and an approx time you would like it. We walked in and were greeted by a very cheerful lady who then asked what room we were and went through our choices. We were told to help ourselves to the great choice of cereals, toast, jam, marmalade, juices etc. Breakfast was cooked to order and served piping hot after we had finished with cereals. One of us had the continental breakfast which could only have been improved by the croissant being warm rather than cold! There is a lovely indoor heated pool that you get sole use of, be warned it does get booked up very quickly so it is a good idea to reserve a time slot when you book! There is also a hoist for disabled people to be able to use the pool! All in all a very nice place to stay!

Stayed for two nights. Quiet part of the town. Stayed in a twin bed room - nothing amazing but perfectly adequate. Bathroom clean and tidy and good hot water. Room even came with a fridge and a microwave which is useful especially if you fancy a microwave meal as no on site restaurant. Was disappointed that teas and coffee weren't refreshed the second day. Seemed to have some nice family chalet type accommodation. Pool was nice - just make sure you book it and be prepared to go back to room to shower after. Wide choice for breakfast and cooked promptly. Would return but only in a car as taxi fares were high around the area.

This place is lovely rooms were very clean well set out lots of room beds comfortable, bathroom spotless and the best added bonus was there was a lovely court yard to sit out in , if i had one negative thing to say although the breakfast was plentiful with fruit juices pastries, toast, cereal, jams, fresh fruit all of very good quality and there was boiled eggs it would have been nice to have some cold meat and cheese to go with eggs so as those that cant or wont eat so much sweet heavy foods due to dietary restriction can have more than just some fresh fruit and boiled eggs it wouldn't break the bank easy to set out and because you only need to top up from fridge when needed minimal waste

I was very impressed with the prompt communication I received beforehand. When I arrived it was a beautiful day so the courtyard garden was lovely to sit in. (Yes more chairs are needed- at least two per room). Easy to check in with plenty of parking, and the room was welcoming with little touches such as hot chocolate. Towels were clean and lotions provided. I did notice mould on the bathroom floor. I found out why the next morning as the shower cubicle is not sealed sufficiently. Nevertheless the shower itself was good and the wi fi was excellent. The TV adequate but I wasn't there to watch TV. I did find the room stuffy so perhaps some air conditioning units are necessary. I didn't want to leave the window open as it was at ground level so I didn't feel secure at night with it open. Breakfast was ok, I appreciated the warm croissants and it was nice taking fruit and porridge back to my room. The site has big notices showing you where your room is. All the accommodation in the area is expensive so I didn't think their price was excessive although of course it would build up if you stayed for a while. And then there is the lane to walk down for any facilities , but it is in the countryside!

Stayed 1 night to break journey, in a b&b room. Self check in with good communication the day before with instructions of what to do etc. The room was quite spacious, set alongside other units, surrounding the very pretty courtyard which was full of spring bulbs. Accommodation was clean, bright & warm, with a surprisingly large ensuite, considering this was a converted stable I believe. Beds were a little soft for our liking but that's a personal preference & you can't please everyone. Tea tray providing tea, coffee, hot chocolate & a couple of biscuits always welcome. Breakfast in the barn was continental but enough for us, with cereals, fruit, toast & croissants. All in all, a pleasant stay.

Very narrow and slippery shower over bath. So narrow that the shower curtain sticks to you, not sure of the hygiene aspect of this. Saggy, grimy sofas. Oven produced a huge amount of black smoke when turned on. Just across bridge from town centre but you have to walk along a long narrow lane. Very strange chimney outside bedroom which belches out smoke/steam every 15minutes day and night.

Beautiful location . Lovely walks to Abingdon. Breakfast great. A hidden gem. The staff especially Millie the manager, were so kind. Local restaurants all within walking distance. They are opening more accommodation soon . I can’t wait to visit again. Thank you.

Brilliant location, a 10 minute walk down the lane will bring you to the town or the river walk (loved watching the boats go through the lock). Buses from town into Oxford run every 20 minutes if you’ve exhausted Abingdon, I do recommend visiting the museum. Accommodation not 5 star but was of the standard we expected for the type of property and had everything we needed, bigger than expected with a lovely powerful shower in the bathroom . If you’re not happy with something or need something please speak to a member of staff and they will try to accommodate. Take a torch if you plan to be out after dark, the narrow road has a good surface but is unlit but the complex has motion detecting lighting. Really enjoyed our stay here and if returning to the area would stay again. Definitely recommended
