Everything amazing. The owner Silvio was very welcoming from start to finish ensuring we had everything we needed and explaining nearby places and how to get there. The breakfast buffet was also very good with a range of savoury and sweet options on the beautiful rooftop terrace. Overall an amazing stay.

Wonderful hotel! The atmosphere was amazing. The owner Silvio is very kind and gave us a trial of their homemade limoncino when we arrived. Breakfast is excellent, with breathtaking views to the Etna and to the sea from the terrace. The homemade pistachio cream served for breakfast is delicious, as well as the pistachio croissant. I highly recommend Palazzo Giovanni.

Top location - nice views of sea and Etna. Very quiet area. Beautiful greenery surroundings when having your breakfast on the rooftop. Breakfast very basic, too basic - but was enough for us. Spacious rooms, with all amenities. Super clean bedroom and bathroom. Lock-up garage very convenient given we travelled by car from Malta. Owner Silvio is very nice and helpful - always up for a chat on anything :)

Eleven years after our first stay at Palazzo Goivanni we were pleased to see that the place is still as charming as it was back then. Silvio is the perfect host, always smiling and helping with very good tips. Bedrooms are great very clean and comfortable. Breakfast time at the roof top is one of the best experience you will have in Sicily, enjoying the wonderful view of Etna and the Mediterranean sea. Just perfect!

A four star hotel with a 6 star host for sure. The rooms are a bit small, but comfortable. Silvio is an amazing host. The view from the rooftop terrace is amazing. We were there 11 years ago while Etna was erupting, watching bright lava being thrown into the air. This time, only smoke from the top, still impressive. We will hopefully return again.

Un soggiorno perfetto. La camera è spaziosa, con belle colori, confortevole e molto pulita. Le terrazze sono anche perfette. E ci sono molto piacute le prime colazioni sulla bellisssima terrazza del palazzo. Silvio il nostro ospitè è molto piacevole, attento, e molto reattivo. Ci ha aiutati per schegliere ristoranti, la salita al Etna, e la visita di Taormina.... Grazie mille per tutti i suoi buoni consigli.

Séjour extrêmement agréable. L'accueil du propriétaire, sa gentillesse, ses excellents conseils le lieu superbe avec un soin particulier pour la décoration, les fleurs, le panorama sur l'Etna, les jolis meubles, .... un arrêt dans le temps, une pause comme on les aime. Merci M. Silvio

Ein wunderbarer Ort ist der Palazzo Giovanni. Vor allem die Dachterrasse hat etwas magisches, mit einem perfekten Blick auf den Ätna und im Hintergrund das Meer. Silvio ist ein sehr sympathischer Gastgeber und sorgt für angenehme Stimmung. Das abwechslungsreiche und ausgiebige Frühstück auf der Terrasse ist eine tolle Urlaubserfahrung. Die Zimmer geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr gepflegt.
