Giarvino Boutique Guest House

My partner and I were passing through Piedmont for 2 days and stayed at the Hotel Giarvino. We came from the coast of Italy with lots of hustle and bustle and noise and were able to relax and unwind at the Hotel Giarvino. The grounds and the surroundings were unique. We were extremely lucky because the hotel was not fully booked, so we stayed at the Hotel Giarvino (possible 9 rooms) with just one other couple. We had booked a fairly small room (Chardonnay). Due to the above situation, we were offered a larger room for a very fair surcharge, which we immediately accepted. The two owners (Romy and Freddy) were super friendly and were approachable and attentive at all times before and during the holiday. The whole hotel team is very nice and accommodating. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the price-performance ratio was right. We were also provided with a small lunch on request (tomato mozzarella and a cheese and ham platter). The breakfast is plentiful and very varied. The hotel has its own vines, peach trees and hazelnut bushes. The peaches are super delicious. We had to take 3 bags of freeze-dried peaches with us. We will be back!

Very beautiful historic property, renovated with a lot of love and with a lot of change. The location of the guesthouse in the lovely hills of Monferrato is unique. Romy Dübener and Fredy Wiederkehr were great and very attentive hosts. We were served a very rich breakfast with a buffet in the atmospheric wine cellar. We ate twice in the evening in the guesthouse - typical Piedmontese specialties, solid and very tasty! Thank you to Romy and Fredy for their hospitality. We'd love to come back!

Giarvino - Ankommen, Wohl- und Willkommen fühlen Vielen Dank, Romy + Fredy, für die wunderbar entspannten Tage im Giarvino. Ihr seid großartige Gastgeber! Beim Rundgang über das geschmackvoll eingerichtete Anwesen wird man unmittelbar in die Ruhe der schönen Umgebung mit hineingenommen. Unser Zimmer großzügig und das Bett mit exzellenten Matratzen ausgestattet - der Schlaf war entsprechend erholsam. Der Service immer herzlich, hilfsbereit und unkompliziert. Und wir haben wunderbar an einigen Abenden im Restaurant getafelt und sehr, sehr leckere Weine getrunken. Morgens dann ein Traumfrühstück mit Gebäck aus der eigenen Küche. Es gab jeden Morgen frisches Obst und einen frisch zubereiteten Obstsalat. Und der Nusskuchen war einfach der HIT!!! Ein perfekter Start in den Tag, um die Gegend zu erkunden. Wenn der Himmel nicht blau und sonnig war, gab es genügend Tipps von Euch für schöne Ausflugsziele oder Besichtigungen von z.B. Weinkellereien oder einer Grappa-Destille. Und einen Kochkurs sollte man sich auf gar keinen Fall entgehen lassen. Unsere selber gemachte Pasta war natürlich die BESTE! Und das mitgebrachte Focaccia Rezept haben wir zu Hause gleich ausprobiert - die Beste Focaccia ever!! Das 'Sahnehäubchen obendrauf': 13 Bass-Sänger aus der Schweiz, „Bass-Partout“ geben am Freitagabend im Salon ein Konzert. Anschließend speisen wir köstlich im Restaurant.

Serata fantastica, vino ottimo ! Il servizio impeccabile. La gentilezza e l’eleganza ne valorizzano ulteriormente l’esperienza! I titolari sono persone squisite! Un ringraziamento speciale allo chef che sa valorizzare ogni portata! 10/10

Struttura molto bella fuori da tutto ed immersa nelle colline del Monferrato. Ottima accoglienza ricevuta: ci è stato mostrato tutto il podere e l'agriturismo completamente ristrutturato con gusto e stile. Ci è stato offerto anche un gradito aperitivo accompagnato da un vino della casa prodotto dai viticoltori vicini. Uniche due pecche: la piscina a sfioro che è bellissima e con vista meravigliosa ma è davvero piccolina e la mancanza dell'aria condizionata nelle stanze standard (presente solo nelle suite). Cmq da consigliare
