4 out 5 We had a nice time in the hotel. Understandably its not at its full glory with renovations to golf course underway. However work and noise levels did disturb out experience . We had a couple of issue during our stay however manager of the hotel did reach out and apologise . I think it was a busy weekend so staff seemed to struggle at breakfast with very long delays. The Tack room is meant to be an award winning bar with amazing cocktail. This was not my experience generally very young staff with limited experience were working without senior management supervision. Many of the award winning cocktails from social media pages could not be made by staff some basic cocktails were poorly made. Room was lovely as was our dining experience in the drawing room by day. The Michelin star tasting experience was amazing and would encourage us to return. Overall we had a good experience but for the cost my expectations were for a faultless memorable stay and I think Adare fell a little short. Perhaps the night we attended and breakfast in the morning was just an off day for Adare

Adare Manor was like stepping into a fairytale. This hotel was pure magic, the pillows to the lobby everything was brilliant! I truly enjoyed exploring the grounds, the onsite chocolate house, the bar in the lobby is absolutely stunning!!

From the moment you reach the gate until you leave you a treated like a VIP. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and greet you everywhere with a smile. We got the tour as we arrived and had our bags brought to the room. The room was fabulous, the bed was huge and the pillows like clouds. We walked around and went to the pool which was busy for the afternoon. The jacuzzi was relaxing just be careful entering the jacuzzi that you walk in on the right nearer to the window. The other side has the bars you can sit on and they can be tricky to pull up on if you go into it from the left. The pool temperature was warm and the weather was gorgeous so the sun beaming in was lovely. Everywhere was very warm but the weather was so hot outside I think it just was about climatisiing to it. The rooms had air conditioning and temperature, tv , lights, curtains and more work from the room tablet. We ate in the carriage house which is a short walk but they have a courtesy car/people carrier bring you there and collect you. The food was gorgeous we struggled to finish it. The grounds was lovely to walk around day and night. They were preparing for thr gold starting on the 1st April. Everywhere you look was a picture worthy. The cinema room shoes 2 films a day one at 4.30pm and the next at 9.30pm. We checked it out but the film was on half an hour by time we got there ans we was so full we went back to the room. The bed was like a soft marshmallow you sink into it. The best sleep I had in a long time. The breakfast was great selection buffet for cereals, fruit salads, pastries, etc snd then table service for hot food. The staffs attention to detail was great. The room for breakfast was beautiful. We checked out the chocolate building a short walk away and the hot chocolates are gorgeous so worth trying. If I had the budget I would love to experience it again this night away was a mothers day treat definitely something to add to your bucket list

Favourite hotel we have ever been to after our two night stay and that was the kids opinion also. From the moment you drive up the avenue to be greeted at the entrance to checking out and everything in between is just top quality service. Everyone is so friendly, even remembering our names on the second day. Great interaction with our 10 and 12 year old kids. Staff never rushing but always have time to engage in friendly conversation. All the facilities are ten out ten for comfort and relaxation. The food from Afternoon tea to the Carriage house to breakfast is of the highest quality. Great choices at breakfast with everything freshly prepared. You need to come hungry when having the Afternoon tea as there is alot to get through but it's not a complaint! If you want more the brilliant staff will bring you more and you are not rushed. The dining in the Carriage house was exquisite and again the service perfect. The Drawing home is a nice place to relax when you arrive or after dinner with great choice of drinks and food. The pool where we went on the Saturday morning is so relaxing and kept spotlessly clean from the changing facilities to the pool side. The trip was a birthday celebration for my wife and this was recognised numerous times during our stay with lovely treats. Hope to be able to come back some day as it's pure opulent tranquility!

We last stayed at Adare Manor two years ago and had such a wonderful experience that I left a glowing five-star review. Sadly, this time, I feel I’m being generous in awarding three stars. While there were still some positive aspects, the overall experience fell far short of expectations. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted, and the check-in process was efficient and friendly. As we had a booking for afternoon tea, we headed straight to the Gallery Room. While the tea itself was pleasant, the presentation was marred by chipped cups and saucers—my cup alone had four chips. It felt like a lack of attention to detail, which was disappointing. After tea, we enjoyed a walk around the beautiful grounds, which remain a highlight. We then received a call that our room was ready. The room was well-presented but showed slight signs of wear, with scuff marks on the skirting boards and areas in need of a fresh coat of paint. The river view we had looked forward to was also spoiled by the presence of three diggers, which was far from the serene scene we expected. Dinner at the Carriage House was a mixed experience. The food was good, but the seating arrangements were baffling. We watched a couple being seated at a table so far apart that it’s beyond us who thought it was okay. The couple looked incredulous, and the woman even leaned back to take a photo to capture the absurd distance before requesting to be moved. It was an odd moment that highlighted a lack of thoughtfulness in the dining setup. We recalled our previous New Year’s visit, where live music added to the atmosphere, but this time, there was none in the bar. When we inquired about entertainment for Saturday night, we were told there would be nothing—just a playlist in the Tack Room. It felt like the energy we remembered from our first stay was missing. The following morning, we found the automated curtains in our room wouldn't open, leaving us to get ready in the dark. When we called reception to say they weren’t working they informed us we could pull them manually (which we had tried but there was resistance so we didn’t want to force them). Additionally, I noticed peeling wallpaper in the hallway for the duration of our stay, a detail that summed up our stay—a clear indication that attention to maintenance was lacking. It would appear to me that preparations for the 2027 Ryder Cup have caused a shift in focus, with current guests suffering the consequences. From chipped crockery to tired hallways and a musty smell near the Tack Room and spa, it felt like essential repairs are being postponed. Breakfast was enjoyable, but we returned to our room to find cleaning products left behind. While mistakes happen, it felt careless and cheapened the experience. I returned the multi surface spray to reception. Lunch ordered to the room was nice, and dinner at the Carriage House that evening was also good, though the waitress mistakenly addressed us as “Mr. and Mrs.” (we are two men)

From when we arrived at the door until we left everything was just amazing. The staff were so courteous and welcoming. The ambiance was lovely. Food was amazing and service excellent. I was sad to be leaving but would return in a heartbeat. The nicest hotel I ever stayed at 5 + stars all the way.

The staff are brilliant , so friendly. Would highly recommend a visit. I had heard great things about Arare Manor but you have to experience it yourself to appreciate how good it is. Unfortunately the golf course was closed for the winter but I look forward to a return visit and to play it.

Stunning hotel on magnificent grounds. A little piece of heaven in Ireland. I would highly recommend it you want a real break and time out. The walled gardens, fairy trail and walks are lovely. There’s a little chocolate shop if you need to stop. The boutique is also worth a browse, although you might need deep pockets. The breakfast hall is stunning with the stained glass windows & morning light. The portions in the Carriage House are huge, I’d suggest a side to start and either a starter or main to finish. And the Oak room and downstairs bar are delightful.
