Guzara Hotel Addis

So very glad that I booked Guzara Hotel! Exceptional service. The kitchen is amazing. Wonderful breakfast and fresh roasted coffee to get your day started off right. Transport from the airport to the hotel was seamless. No hassle finding a taxi. Hotel room was very clean and comfy. Laundry is located on the same street as the hotel and my clothes came back clean and fresh. If you have any questions dont hesitate to talk to Mr. Teshome! It is worth it to get a guided tour from Hotel Guzara to save you money and hassle of finding a guide. Guzara Hotel Addis made my experience a trip of a lifetime. I will be staying on all future trips!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable, with balcony overlooking the Addis street scenes. Very good value. The manager, Teshome, was very helpful with all our needs. Expect noisy socializing in the street below until 10 pm or so.

Best experience I have had staying in addis ababa. Beds are very comfortable, the hotel is in good and secure location, the staff provides transport to and from airport, and serve a delicious breakfast. I will stay here again! Very hospitable staff.

Our family had a wonderful week at Guzara Hotel. We were very comfortable, the service was excellent, the staff was accommodating, and the facilities were clean. We are especially grateful to the hotel owner who personally picked us up from the airport. After a week of stay, he willingly dropped us off at our next destination with our many luggages, using their hotel van. We highly recommend Guzara Hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and convenient stay.

The quiet environment, friendly and very hospitable staff made my stay a happy one. There is wifi, very secure hotel. Thank you for the care that really made me feel home. I got a headache due to the long journey and I was given some painkillers to make me feel better . My Embassy appointment was very timely , Airport pickup and dropoff was awesome. Thank you and your family and staff for your very kind attention to looking after me and ensuring my stay at the Guzara Hotel was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. I very much appreciated your kind attention in picking me up and dropping me off at Bole international airport. I also very much appreciated the kind attention and care of your wife and son through very tasty breakfasts and suppers with authentic Ethiopian cooking. Thank you too to your other staff such as Tensai and Zenesh on reception and the hotel guard. All were genuinely very friendly and helpful and you can be proud of your team! My room was clean and lovely and spacious. It had a very comfortable bed, and since your hotel it situated in a quiet area, I always had a good sleep! There was also plenty of hot water and the electricity supply and wifi were regular. The wifi had one or two very minor interruptions, but your son very kindly sorted these out very quickly. I have no hesitation in recommending your hotel as a great place to stay. Your customers should know that a trip into town will take about 1 hour or more (due to the traffic in Addis) by Uber-type taxi, but this is not a problem - it is just something that should be planned for. A single trip to the centre of Addis cost me 360 birr (about $6.70) - which was a fair price given the time taken and distance. Your customers should know that hotels nearer the centre of town are more expensive, so even though you may pay $13 USD per day on taxis to town and back, you will still save money compared to a more expensive hotel in the centre of town. Also, customers should note that they can travel much more cheaply by minibus (maybe taking two minibuses from Guzara into town for less than $1 in total there and back). I used to travel by minibus, but did not do so on this 1 week trip to Addis because I had less time and didn’t have the time to take slower minibuses. Thank you all so much! I hope we meet again.
