Family owned cozy hotel with very personal care, a place you feel home away from home. Loved the sauna and ajacent resting area and the great breakfast. Very kids friendly. The rooms were simple and clean. The staff was super kind and would go out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home.

The location of the hotel is ideal for skiing and hiking (Alfenzer Burgeralm), which you can start directly from the hotel. I had a room on the first floor and the balcony had a wonderful view of the mountains. The furnishings in the room and bathroom show that it is a bit old, but as everything was very clean, that was no reason for complaint for me. The restaurant also served very good food (a wide selection of Austrian dishes). At breakfast you get everything you need. All of the hotel staff that I met were very friendly and accommodating.

We and our friends have been staying in this house for almost 35 years and are very happy with it and will definitely come back. We are already looking forward to seeing you again next year for some lovely days together.

We stayed at the hotel for a long weekend at the end of February. Everything was wonderful: great rooms, friendly and very helpful hotel manager, and the food in the hotel was also excellent. We can recommend the hotel without reservation and will definitely stay there again in the summer.

We were looking for a hotel in the Hochschwab region and came across the Hotel Post Karlon. It was a good choice. The hotel has retro charm and very friendly staff. The rooms are a reasonable size, the sauna area was clean and the relaxation room for 4 people was a bit small but just right for us. On New Year's Eve you could choose between a set menu and a la carte. The food was top quality at reasonable prices. The service was accommodating to our special requests. It was a successful evening. The hotel is a rarity and definitely worth a visit, ideal for hiking trips in the surrounding area.

Das Haus liegt mitten im Zentrum der schönen kleinen Ortschaft. Die Zimmer sind zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber blitzsauber. Mein Einzelzimmer war überdurchschnittlich groß und bot mit Balkon, Tisch und Schaukelstuhl eine gute Aufenthaltsqualität. Die Atmosphäre im Haus ist freundlich und gemütlich, das Essen im Hotelrestaurant ausgezeichnet. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und werde gerne wiederkommen

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in Aflenz und war für uns perfekter Ausgangspunkt zum Wandern. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen, das Zimmer war sauber und hatte einen Balkon. Das Essen war köstlich und auch das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und engagiert. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und werden sicher wieder buchen.
