A very disappointing stay! Please DO NOT ignore the poor reviews. We booked the Port Demo Hotel due to its reviews being nearly all 4-5 star but we very quickly figured out why (which I will add further in this review) The hotel itself is a very modern and stylish hotel however due to very apparent neglect and lack of cleaning and care - it’s in a completely poor state. We was given a ground floor room with private pool access (many people would be thrilled) however due to the level of bugs, debris and build up of sludge - it wasn’t fit to use. This was unfortunately the same with the main pool which you had to climb 96… yes 96 steps to access (this is fine for younger people but anyone with any disabilities please note there is absolutely NO ramp, lifts etc!) The main pool also had not been cleaned for what looked like a very long time with the heavy brown markings around the pool and the lime green colouring. Our room was unfortunately not cleaned at any time during our stay. Our bedding was changed once the entire 7 nights and even our pleas with the cleaners on site to clean our rooms and pools - nothing came of this. Lamp shades in our room had mould and a brown build up on them and we was never provided with any fresh towels (we had to ask for these) The public toilets had no locks on the doors to have any privacy and tissue pushed into the lock holes. No handwash to clean your hands after the bathroom and clearly very damaged and broken fittings were visible. Onto the reviews - whilst we was having lunch we noticed a lady (blonde haired staff member with a body warmer) speaking to many couples. One couple approached us and warned us of this lady and the reasons she was speaking with guest. This was to encourage them to write 5 star reviews on here (even offering for guest to hotspot as the hotel wifi is extremely poor) and the couple advised us that when they had been asked and when they declined - the staff member shamed them. We made sure to keep our distance with this lady as we wanted to provide our own honest review for future guests. This was my partners first holiday abroad and I’m saddened to have chosen this hotel. I wish we had booked elsewhere.

The entire experience was truly a dream. Any issues or requests I spoke of to Edstathia , Fotini, and Magda were readily dealt with. Some highlights were the lovely private shared pool just outside our balcony, while watching the awesome sunsets, and the fabulous hot showers and comfortable beds. I would definitely come back here

Where do I start! There are a lot of conflicting reviews here for this hotel, but I will give you my Full and honest opinion. We absolutely loved this hotel! Check in was a breeze we arrived around 4pm, the receptionist was very kind and helpful. A lot of guests around us were furious about having to pay tourist tax which confused me as this is common in this area! We paid 7€ per room per night. Our private transfer had let us down for our departure and the blond receptionist organised us emergency transport which was really lovely of her! And the brunette receptionist handed us packed lunches for our journey and waved us off (we departed at 3am) when checking in A lovely man showed us to our rooms and offered to take my bags off me, to which I declined (I’d hate to think of how many bags he’d already had to carry that day!) There are many steps as previous reviews mention however I fear this is common sense when looking at pictures before booking! Obviously no good for anyone who has any mobility issues but aside from that it was a minor minor inconvenience and gave us a chance to burn off all the food we’d been eating!! Another thing a lot of guests were complaining about was the smell of the sewerage, again this is a very common issue in this area and is not specific to this hotel. It is a reoccurring issues around the whole island and there is nothing that the hotel can do about this. That being said we did start to smell it in our bathroom when we were over half way through our stay, we mentioned to the hotel who apologised and when we’d returned back to our room at the end of the day the smell had not disappeared but drastically improved. There were 3 public pools to choose from, however we only found 2 of the 3. One on the left after reception and one at the top of the resort, you are also given full access to the facilities in the sister hotel which we never visited so I couldn’t comment on. Our room was cleaned 6 of 7 of the days we were there. Which was explained to us on arrival. Our room was lovely and clean, spacious, modern and well kept. Housekeepers very pleasant no request too much, always spoke to you when passing. We would’ve loved a swim up pool, but we will definitely be booking one when we rebook to come back next year! The manageress was very pleasant and greeted and had light chat with us every evening. The restaurant manager the same, and all restaurant staff very polite, friendly and attentive. The only people who didn’t converse much was the bar staff, but they were busy a lot of the time so I don’t imagine they were doing so purposefully. The food we found to be pleasant but slightly repetitive, it will take a while to get used to the taste of the food as of course it is greek and cooked in olive oil and if you’re not used to that it takes a while to adjust to. I am a very fussy eater and still found I had something to eat every night. There is continental and hot breakfast options, fresh fruit and yogur

We have just returned from this hotel, I’ll start with the good stuff: The views were amazing, the food was pretty good but the bad reviews are what this hotel is. The sewage smell comes and goes all day long but that isn’t the worst of it. The rooms are in dire need of a good clean and upgrade, even in a junior suite that we were put in after we were moved from our double deluxe!!! The double deluxe has stained sheets and curtains, the shower was at a maximum 90cm x 90cm square with a shower curtain that didn’t reach the floor. The shower water was cold. There were dead insects splattered all over the walls. We complained to the hotel to be told they were fully booked, we complained to the company we booked the package holiday with as we felt that the rooms shown on the hotel website as well as who we booked our holiday with are false advertising of this hotel. Within 24 hours we were moved to a junior suite with a sea view. This was a relief but the cleanliness of this room wasn’t great, again splattered insects on the wall, build up of limscale in the bathroom and lots of rust on metal fixtures however it was an improvement. The hotel had loads of stairs but that didn’t bother us and from reception to the rooms is a steep hill. The main restaurant was kept clean and the food was fine but the tea and coffee wasn’t good, only herbal teas available and the coffee wasn’t great, we ended up getting coffees out of the hotel. The top bar had beautiful views and an infinity pool but lots of negatives up here: The pool was clear on the day we arrived 5 days later was murky water. Only 1 unisex toilet which had paper all over the floor, no lock on the door and one day had a trail of ants outside the toilet. There were empty cups and cigarette buts left all over the sun lounger area. Everyone we spoke to said the same thing and so many people complaining about the rooms and sewage smell. Please be warned before you book this hotel. We spent most of our time off site out and about and had a great holiday but this hotel has been a complete put off.

Overall stay at the hotel was lovely. Only a few things to add. The key to our room was difficult and I was unable to unlock it myself. Took us a good 10 minutes to get into it at first but the view from the hotel was incredible. The smell of sewage around the hotel was awful, you couldn’t always smell it as it comes and goes but the worse place for it was the main pool. The food was delicious but would’ve been nice for a wider range of choices. One thing I would like them to do it label the food correctly. You didn’t know what you were eating half the time. Staff were incredibly friendly. The manager (think it’s the manager) was always outside the restaurant to greet everyone in and check everything was okay. Didn’t have a whole lot of entertainment. Had a singer one night that wasn’t advertised so not many people showed up and a disco on the Sunday night that went on for about 2 hours. WiFi was good but depending where your room was it didn’t always reach. We could only get it in our room if we went onto the balcony. From past reviews I’ve read, you can see how hard they are trying to make the hotel better and I respect them for that. Would love to go back one day. Best hotel I’ve stayed in just don’t think it’s quite the 4 stars just yet.

hotel located on a hill with a beautiful view both from the room, the restaurant and the swimming pool at the top. the location and surroundings are beautiful. the food is good, there is something for everyone, the chef is a great guy. very polite staff, especially the working at the upper pool - Spiritz is an amazing person! :) the only minus is the bathroom in average condition and salty water from the shower

First of all, Drinks from bartender Spiros were just Perfect, Mohito, best of the best. Food in Restaurant Tasty and The room were big and close to the Pool and bar. Everyday, cleaning lady Mirka made a good job and room was perfect cleaned. View from Hotel was also nice. To the Beach there is only 5 minutes walking.
