Elounda Eleon Villas

We had the most amazing holiday! We stayed in villa 9 and it was perfect for us. We were 2 couples and 2 teenagers. The contact from Ilias before we even arrived was fantastic and he helped organise a shopping delivery for us for when we arrived at the villa. They also left us cake and a bottle of wine in the fridge, which was a lovely touch. The villa was cleaned daily except on a Sunday. The hill up to the villas is steep but we managed it absolutely fine. The view from the villa was stunning. One surprise we had was thst there was an upstairs terrace that we didn't expect and didn't see previous photos of. We got shopping deliveries almost daily from the euromart shop in Elounda we just WhatsApp them our order and it was there within an hour. Ilias provided us with a number to order taxis for when we didn't feel like walking down into elounda which is a 30-40 minute walk. You can easily get one back in the square of Elounda the price to the villa from there was €11. We will definitely be back!

Had a fab week here suite 4. Clean, great little pool. Needs more shade for afternoon sun. Fab setting. Friendly helpful staff. We walked (it is a long walk) into Elounda for meals & entertainment and taxi back €11. Did have a meal delivery one night. Do need a car as nothing else near to hand.

The road was sloped upward to walk at the top of the property for us and there were no path lights on to see where we were going. The pool floor pavers were cracked and raised.

Simply a wonderful place to stay and enjoy the peaceful location. The suites are kept immaculately clean and fresh towels and bedding every other day!. We ordered the breakfast delivery from Maria the owner and it was excellent and very good value. She also is on hand by mobile should you require help for anything else. The walk into Elounda is about 25 minutes it was a bit tiring in the heat but we always got a taxi back at 10 euros. There is a mini market about 10 mins away , we also found the beach bar was open by the Elounda Breeze hotel down at the sea front where there are sunbeds etc if you didn't want to walk into the town. I highly recommend the Eleon villas and suites if you are looking for excellent accommodation with privacy and having your own pool and no rush to get up for a sunbed!!. We will come back one day!!

Just back from a wonderful 10 days at Elounda Eleon Villas. Maria and Ilias are great hosts and Zetta a fantastic housekeeper who kept our villa spotlessly clean. Loved the location of our villa which had spectacular views to the sea. The pool was a welcome relief to the hot sun. The owners are lovely and make sure you have everything you need. We'll look forward to visiting again soon.

We have just finished our second visit to Eleon suites in Elounda. Maria was the best host and ensured everything was to our satisfaction. The kitchen had been upgraded since our visit last year and was an amazing improvement to an already brilliant suite. The beds are extremely comfortable but what we really like is the private pool... whilst not huge the pools are big enough for a little swim and a form of aqua aerobic exercise plus brilliant for a cool off and they are quite deep.. I'm 5ft 10 and the water came up to be shoulders when stood up... all one depth. The fridge was stocked with a bottle of wine and some pop and there were coffee pods available. Zeta the cleaning lady was a joy to see every day. She always had a smile, a laugh with a quick chat. She was very efficient in and out of the room without too much fuss. She is a true credit to the whole team at Eleon. The pool man (sorry I don't know his name) was also the maintenance man and any problem was fixed immediately and the pool was topped up and cleaned daily. Maria kept in touch on WhatsApp and was very communicative about the check in and check out process. The small complex is based 2 miles out from elounda main square. The road is quite busy walking in with about the first 1/2 mile with no pavements but generally flat. However the complex itself is on a very steep hill... obviously the higher the number of the suite the steeper the hill.... not to be undertaken whilst inebriated 😁.... There is access to the sea not far. This did mean diving into the sea off rocks with access steps available. There is a "beach" a little further down the road with easier access in and out through a "harboured"area. This beach has a bar situated but it has never been open all the time we have been there. 2 weeks last year and 1 week this year and is part of Elounda blu hotel. Amazing stay, amazing people, we will definitely be back.
